It is difficult to make the xref in DITA

"DITA reference" dialog box displays a list of all the DITA (several hundreds).

To select an item you want to link, you need to search this list for a long time.

Is it possible to show only the elements with the id attribute?

In the FrameMaker9/fminit/ditafm folder, open ditafm.ini

The following line specifies what elements can be the target of the XRef:
XrefElements = concept | task | reference | section | step | Ph | GlossEntry

  • I have difficulties to make the mobile app

    I made an html document, which is added to the desktop app and followed all the steps for the installation of mobile but when I launch the app it does not show on my phone. I use windows and I tried on the iOS and Android phones, but not luck. I have to optimize something in the html doc to support this? Thank you

    Step back first. Create a new project. This will seed it with the basic model. Using this model, try to get it to appear on the Mobile of PhoneGap application. If it works, then we can look at other issues. If it fails, we must resolve this issue first.  You can find links to mobile applications here: step 2: install Mobile App | PhoneGap Docs

  • Make the switch. FCP to Adobe CC.

    I work in marketing for a large travel company. Currently we use FCP 7 and Mac OS X, but we feel difficult to make the switch to Mac Pro and Adobe CC.

    I have three questions to which I will post below, but I would like to speak with an Adobe representative as soon as possible. Budget is due soon, and I would like to clarify some points before launch us to management.

    Question #1: A number of our remote stations and are not connected for long periods of time. I feel that this forgotten about is not a problem, so that you do not have the capabilities online every day 30 to 99, true? If so, I'm hoping to arrange an agreement custom, which could in turn acquire our writers a greater time offline, is - it possible?

    Question #2: As mentioned, we are currently using FCP 7, which was purchased and installed using physical install disks. From time to time, our editors on the field problems tech, update, etc. to a relocation of their FCP 7. If we not buy installation discs, we have installation files / license numbers? If so, reinstall can happen using these files?

    #3 question: We have a total of at least 9 essential change stations reshuffle, therefore, we will need 9 separated from the CC ($49) app packages. Y at - it a more financially viable course of action, given the amount of apps that I would buy. We have only apps first, AE and Photoshop for every Mac, which could up to the accusation. If so, I want to speak directly with a representative of Adobe.

    I'm looking forward to hear back from the forum of professional community and one representative of Adobe.

    Thank you

    Hi Andy,.

    I hope I can answer a few questions for you.

    1: Yes, it is correct. You don't need to be connected all the time with the CC Apps.

    2: all re - installs are easily through the cloud without disks. Your ID Adobe Creative cloud is your activation so no activation codes are needed either.

    3: there is a creative cloud for subscription teams so that is probably what you want. Creative cloud for teams. Adobe Creative Cloud for business

    I hope that answers your questions.

    This happens when you try to install .ipa to a device that is not listed in the mobileprovision file. Make sure that the UDID of the device is included in your Developer Portal iTunes and when you generate the new file mobileprovision that you explicitly check the box next to the new feature that you added.

    Then download the new mobileprovision file and make sure that you use a new one, not the old, to get the app to the App Builder.

  • Web links open in a new tab or a new window, how to make the web link open in my current tab?

    I could find ways to do the reverse of this and make the links to open in new tabs, but none that answered this question

    It is difficult because the links in a page can work in several ways:

    • no attribute "target" - open in the same tab
    • the value of attribute 'target ':

      • "_blank" - open in a new tab
      • 'name1' (used before and currently open)-replace the page on the tab 'name1 '.
      • 'name2' (not used before or already closed) - open in a new tab
    • script attached to the link to override her normal behavior - a variety of outcomes are possible, including a whole new window

  • The file of the bar - descriptor.xml (and make the application of command line)

    I made a game with air and it is online for sale on Android and iOS. It is somewhat popular and I thought to put up on Blackberry for quite awhile now and with the Port of soon-to-start-A-Thon, this seems to be a great time to finally make it.

    BlackBerry is not very common that here where I live in Sweden, however it still looks like an interesting with a potential platform if I want to get the trip. Unfortunately I don't own a camera myself so I'll use the Simulator. With some graphic problems with the simulator when running in mode BB10DevAlpha (icons does not appear right) and the Simulator is very slow when running in mode BB10DevAlphaSafe (chart appears on the right, but it seems that updating them requires more CPU my computer are available).

    The game is built using nothing other than Adobe Flash Professional CS6 and a bunch of command line tools to build the package and sign. I've only got an old computer with Windows XP now since the death of my main PC, all at the time and since the Port-A-Thon is just a few days I do with what I got.

    Firstly I understand that only AIR 3.1 is supported by Blackberry 10, so I use the old AIR SDK 3.1 to create a SWF (flash) file.

    What I really need to do should be used in the exported SWF file of the game, then use the command line tools provided by RIM to build the package, right?

    Except that I did not count on bar - descriptor.xml to be so difficult to understand.

    I was brought to the documentation here: https://developer.blackberry.com/air/documentation/bb10/bar-descriptor_config_file.html

    It says Adobe AIR at the top, the platform selected is Blackberry 10 and the title says "bar-descriptor configuration file", so it must be in the right place!

    I start by trying the 'bar-descriptor configuration example file"on this page:

    ===========================================================

          fake

       HelloWorld - splash.png

       read_geolocation
       use_camera

       1

    ===========================================================

    Of course during the test I replaced a few things in the example above with the correct filenames for images etc, I just copied the example of right - off this time to you guys show what I mean.

    Firstly, I extract "blackberry-tablets-sdk - 3.0.0" in a folder on the disc, then I make sure as a full path to the "bin" in the SDK folder inside the path on the OS environment variable.

    Then I read on "Applications of Test using the command line": https://developer.blackberry.com/air/documentation/bb10/testing_your_application_cmd_ms_2010851_11.h...

    Now I run:

    BlackBerry - airpackager.bat - package installApp - blackberry-myappname - new.bar - launchApp myappname-blackberry-bar - descriptor.xml myappname.swf myappnameicon86.png bg splashscreen1024.png - device 192.168.8.128

    Note that "bg" is a folder with 500 images that must be accessible from the app. I hope that I can just add the folder like this and not type a path to each image file...

    What I get (in lib\adt.jar via the bat file):

    error 101: Namespace is missing
    Error: Validation of the AIR is not

    Okay, so the example did not straight on the box.

    Now, I've read all paragraphs in the first URL I linked above ("the bar-descriptor configuration file"). I start my own XML file and make sure to include everything that is marked as "necessary". That's what I'm left with:

    ===========================================================

        MyCompany

            com.mydomain.myappname
            My App name

        run_native

            application

                bb.action.VIEW
                application/octet-stream

    ===========================================================

    I have no idea of what concerns the block whole call target, but it took, so he must be there.

    Now I launch (notice that myappnameicon86.png is gone since no icon is mentioned in the above XML code, it is not mandatory):

    BlackBerry - airpackager.bat - package installApp - blackberry-myappname - new.bar - launchApp myappname-blackberry-bar - descriptor.xml myappname.swf bg splashscreen1024.png - device 192.168.8.128

    Yet once, I get:

    error 101: Namespace is missing
    Error: Validation of the AIR is not

    Frustrated I get autour on the forums for answers, because the official documentation is nowhere getting me.

    I'm left with this:

            qnx.fuse.ui.skins.QNXSkins

    ===========================================================

    Looks like the XML code that I use when I build for Android.

    First of all it doesn't have the tag root of qnx, but also nothing of the icons are of the required size (86 x 86). The tag required splashscreens and invoke target is also absent, to name a few. No idea of what the entire block of 'extensions' really do.

    Surely, this does not work:

    BlackBerry - airpackager.bat - package installApp - blackberry-myappname - new.bar - launchApp myappname-blackberry-bar - descriptor.xml myappname.swf QNXDevice.ane QNXNetwork.ane QNXSensors.ane QNXSkins.ane myappnameicon36.png myappnameicon48.png myappnameicon72.png bg-device 192.168.8.128

    Success in building the package BAR to my infinite surprise!

    He even managed to install on the Simulator. An icon for the game. However when it auto-couru the app went into landscape, thought for a second and then crashed (or you leave?) without a message.

    Perhaps because the required qnx tag was missing in the XML?
    Perhaps because images in the bg file could not be loaded?
    Perhaps because he had no permission to keep screen from dimming?

    I have no idea. I tried to add XML to qnx at the address previous to the bar - descriptor.xml, I thought that maybe he needed both the qnx block for when you run the application and the application block for when packaging. But now, he has complained of something like XML is not not clean ("' fatal error: markup in the document following the root element must be well-formed." ").

    So he came to it, I have to ask for help if I ever make the deadline of the Port-A-Thon.

    (1) how am I supposed to write the bar - descriptor.xml?
    (2) what command line starting by "blackberry - airpackager.bat" is OK to use?
    (3) all I have to do is build the SWF using Adobe Flash Professional CS6 and then pack it using the Blackberry SDK, right?

    First of all, there are two xml files that you need.

    One is called the manifesto, is to AIR and is called yourappname- app.xml. It is identical to the ones you use for Android and IOS, though some elements will be ignored. It's one you need to switch on the command line, and is probably causing the 'Namespace' missing error message. A file manifest a minimum is:

    http://ns.adobe.com/air/application/3.1">

        com.example.appname
        My Fabulous Game
        1.0.0

        FileNameOfYourSwfWithoutExtension
        YourCompanyName

            [This value will be overwritten by Flash Builder in the output app.xml]
            true
            false
            none
            cpu
            false

    Replace the text in red with your own stuff.

    The second xml file is called to the bar of descriptor. It is for App World and the installation process and is called bar - descriptor.xml. It contains information about signing code, icon, permissions etc. A simple bar - descriptor.xml is:

          none
          true
          landscape
          false
          cpu

       your-name-on-certificate
       your-id-on-certificate

       core.games

       1

          icon86x86.png

       splash-landscape.png

       2.1.0.1314

       access_shared
       access_internet
       play_audio
       set_audio_volume

    Make sure that you at least change the red dots.

  • Make the remote web server accessible via VPN Site to website

    We have two test sites that are connected by a tunnel IPSEC VPN site-to-site (hosted on a SAA each site) over the Internet. We are trying to set up an environment to test two web applications running side by side. Two web servers are running on the Site of Test 1. We don't have the same public IP available at each site.

    To address the public site 1 unique IP address restriction, we try to install ACL and NAT rules to have 2 Site accept traffic from the internet and send it on the site to the other tunnel. So 1 Web server would accept the ASA 1 internet traffic and Web Server 2 accept traffic from ASA 2 to the other site. Here's a network diagram:

    We have difficulties to get this configuration works correctly. Please note that the network 192.168.3.0/24 clients are able to access the servers Web1 and Web2. This question seems to be due to our NAT configuration. This is the type of error, we see on the two firewalls:

    Asymmetrical NAT rules matched for flows forward and backward; Connection for tcp src outside:4.4.4.4/443 dst outside:192.168.1.10/443 refused due to path failure reverse that of NAT

    Our situation seems similar to this post: https://supportforums.cisco.com/thread/2242230

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hello

    What Karsten said above is true. While it is possible and works, it also means that the configuration is a little more complex to manage. I have done no such features in a real-life network environment and have always used additional public IP addresses on the local site when a server is hosted.

    If you want to continue to move forward with this so here's a few points to consider and the configurations that you need.

    First off it seems to me that the other server will be organized by the local Site 1 so a simple static PAT (Port Forward) must manage the Site 1.

    network of the WEB-HTTP object

    host 192.168.1.10

    NAT (inside, outside) interface static tcp 443 443 service

    And if you need TCP/80 also then you will need

    network of the HTTPS WEB object

    host 192.168.1.10

    NAT (inside, outside) interface static service tcp 80 80

    Now, 2 Site will naturally a little different that the server is hosted on the Site 1 and Site 2 is the public IP address used to publish the server on the external network.

    Essentially, you will need to configure NAT that both makes dynamic PAT for the addresses of the source of the connection to your server Web 2, but also makes the static PAT (Port Forward) for the IP address of the Web Server 2. Additionally, you have to set the area of encryption on the Site 1 and Site 2 to match this new addition to the L2L VPN connection.

    Unless of course you use an existing IP address on the field of encryption in the dynamic translation of PAT for the source address. In this case, it would take no change VPN L2L. I'll use that in the example below.

    The NAT configuration might look like this

    service object WWW

    destination eq 80 tcp service

    service object HTTPS

    destination eq 443 tcp service

    the object SOURCE-PAT-IP network

    host 192.168.3.254

    network of the WEB-SERVER-2-SITE1 object

    host 192.168.1.11

    NAT (outside, outside) 1 dynamic source no matter what static SOURCE-PAT-IP destination interface WEB-SERVER-2-SITE1 service WWW WWW

    NAT (outdoors, outdoor), 2 dynamic source no matter what static SOURCE-PAT-IP destination interface WEB-SERVER-2-SITE1 service HTTPS HTTPS

    So, essentially, NAT configurations above should ake 'all' traffic coming from behind 'outside' interface intended to "outside" "interface" IP address and translate the source to ' SOURCE-PAT-IP ' address and untranslate destination to "WEB-SERVER-2-SITE1".

    Make sure that the IP address chosen (in this case 192.168.3.254) is not used on any device. If she is then replace it with something that is not currently used in the network. Otherwise, configure an IP address of some other subnet and include in the L2L VPN configurations on both sites.

    Unless you already have it, you also have this configuration command to activate the traffic to make a U-turn/pin on the ' outside ' of the Site 2 ASA interface

    permit same-security-traffic intra-interface

    Hope this helps

  • Make the recovery with USB disks

    I have a HP Pavilion older m9300t Intel Core 2 Quad Q9300 2.50 GHz 4 GB 500 GB. HP told me that they no longer have the recovery discs available.  I bought a refurbished with no disk system.  The hard drive eventually crushed and I decided to keep the computer as it is beyond my needs.  I want to recover my software. I read that you can make the recovery disks with a USB key. It will work in safe mode? And we know if it's a system of 64 or 32-bit?

    If the disk hard th is crushed, then the recovery partition will be unreliable.

    Follow the instructions on the web HP to the address following document to find out how to order a set of recovery disks. Maybe it's a bit difficult because the desktop PC is three generations behind the current operating system.  Is there a certificate of Windows of authenticity with an activatinkey of license of twenty-five characters on the case somewhere?

    arop16461101,

    something like that?

    var theLayers = app.activeDocument.layers;
    var str = new Array ();
    for (i = 0; i < theLayers.length; i++) {
        str.push (theLayers[i].name)
        }
    var tF = theLayers[0].textFrames.add();
    tF.contents = str.join ("\r");
    alert("new text frame with layerlist added on layer " + theLayers[0].name);

    Have fun

  • How can I make the text forward and backward instead of just turning in a circle?

    Hello! I'm on After Effects text animation and somehow I was able to make my text go forward and back (a bit like a sign that blows in the Breeze) for my first word, but now I'm not able to find this option more. Does anyone know how to make this happen? I thought that's the direction that I think is supposed to happen when you use the rotation mode but all I have is the ability to rotate. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!!

    you animate text like any other layer? or you want to animate the characters?

    How about a video so we could see what it is?

    If you want to animate the characters, you can use the animate (more on this subject further in my post)

    There is also an option to set the path to a text layer (Adobe programmers - why not the forms too?)

    and you can do cool things with him.

    Here are some examples of a big project that I made using the Ae text engine and everything I could:

    Path, 3D, 32 Bit, plugins 3rd party, all sorts of things to make the text feel more organic. lots of manual work

    but it would have been extremely difficult without text animators.

    Text in Ae like most everything - needs study and practice. It is not that intuitive. There are a lot of settings and fiddle with the settings in the timeline is not so comfortable. even that forms.

    read here:

    Text animation in After Effects

    with animations of text you have you host that contains two main controls: the range and the parameter to be modified.

    Once it is there, you can scroll down the properties and decide set a range for the animation (some letters) or all of them, etc., as well as the value of it to change

    as for the part of the range - you can add instead of a range selector, a selector of fidgeting, then the animation will come with wiggle connected by the settings that you can define:

    using the presets is a good starting point sometimes (once you have read the help files). You can choose a preset and click on UU and study it and change it to your needs.

  • How to make the animated lips that move with the text?

    Hello

    I would like to make the animated lips (as below) say some text. So I would like to move with the text that is said.

    What would be the best way to do it in an Adobe program? Thanks in advance!

    lips photo.jpg

    The best way to do it would be to learn now to use Adobe character animation. Simply design a work in layers so that the different sounds are on different layers.

    There are also manual techniques that require a familiarity with the distortion and masking tools in AE and a knowledge of the time remapping effect. You can also use audio levels to trigger the movement. Using this technique you can divide the image in the upper lip, lower lip and then use expressions to drive to position distortion tools. The good technique depends on the look you are after. If you just want to use those lips she's going to be quite difficult to get a "oh" sound or a 'b' as in "oh Boy" which seems natural.

    Are you new to AE? What you are wanting to do will require some basic skills in AE and probably Photoshop or Illustrator.

  • How to make the cursor more visible healing

    Hello

    I ask your help to find the answers to 2 issues related both to Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.

    1. I use the remove task L R and Spot healing in Photoshop.  A few times I'm going to remove a stain, and the background makes the cursor so light that it would be difficult to see.  I wonder if I can darken or change the color of the slider so it would be visible.

    2. when I remove a task in Photoshop, I can go over the same area that I removed a task and do more remove or modify.  In the case R L I need cancel first healing I did and start a new one.  It's a little irritating and I wonder if I can do the same thing in L R.

    Thank you all for your help and your support.

    MB

    You cannot change the cursor in LR, but if you press A, the tasks will be displayed in black & white. Press A again to disable the visualization.

    Every place you heal in Lightroom is represented by two circles - a place where you click and one for the source. To change a spot, click on the place, then it becomes active, and you can change the size, or drag the circle to the source somewhere else. You can also change the size, feather and opacity in the spot light modify Panel.

    Spot healing in Photoshop is done by changing the pixels, while in LR, it's done with metadata.

    Large healing spot in LR will be, as you may have noticed, slow LR to a crawl, so if you have many tasks in an image, it is best done in PS.

  • How to make the selection line more dark?

    It's my first time to use Photoshop CC, however, it is very difficult for me to see the selection line when I use "selection tool" to select an area, it is possible to adjust the darker line?

    Currently, I don't know of a way. However, I recommend that you post a suggestion on what makes the color and thickness of the pieces in the suggestion of photoshop forum.

  • Is there a way to make the vector lines (Path) more Visible in Photoshop CC on OSX?

    Is there a way to make the vector lines (Path) more Visible in Photoshop CC on OSX? Just passed from the CS6 in the CC, and it is very difficult to see when they are in fact seen visible.

    Apart from excellent advice from Terri, there is no way to really change how the paths appear - nevermind, I could use those more visible as well.
