  If you receive Windows Update error 6d9e while installing SQL Server 2005 Service Pack 3 by using Windows Update, it means that the installation folders and directories are compressed or encrypted.

  To fix this problem, make sure the folder locations where you are installing the service pack to aren't compressed or encrypted, or specify a different folder and then run Windows Update again.

  Therefore, remove the compression of the DATA directory and run together to the top again.

  Remove compression from the C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server folder and see if you are able to install the updates without any problem.

• 8640: ADF Scanner does not

  I just bought the printer 8640 and the ADF scanner simply does not work. If I put a document two faces in the ADF and the scan it just comes up with a blank white page. Don't worry I'm not stupid enough to have the document backwards as I have tried with a face 2 document.

  If I scan the glass is fine.

  Is suspect there is a problem with the ADF scanner to the left of the scanner glass.

  Any help appreciated.

• Windows XP security does not allow me access to the browser or the internet

  I'm having a problem with XP Security that keeps popping up almost continuously and prevents me from doing anything , without ordering the software.   It also shows that I have 26 virus, but an another separate scanning with a newly installed anti-virus [Ioio] program stated that 5 and were all deleted/purged.

  I have been using FireFox as my browser and still cannot access Yahoo homepage - impossible to go to the post office or anything else.  Pop up warnings keep coming and display 'Windows XP Security' is still waiting for me to buy their program - and I can not change anything on this menu at all since it keeps redirecting me to the purchase.  I can't get FireFox or even Internet Explorer since it shows a terrible message and does not allow me to circumvent it.

  What can I do to get rid of this problem?  I had to use using another computer to communicate with you and don't know what to do to solve this problem.  This same message/problem seems to resurface every year and made it for 2-3 years.  I resorted to an online, remote help to alleviate the problem in the past, and it still costs a lot of money to solve.  How can I FIX?

  I created a search page based on query ADF with table Panel. All fields of research are working fine on weblogic Server integrated and my deployment local glassfish.

  However, on Layershift, when I enter some criteria of research in certain fields, it does not record.

  UPDATE, it seems that the problem is with the fields which are of the "String" ie. Name. Fields of data type Integer and Date seems fine.

  kdario, you're right, ViewCriteria does not use the correct syntax for mysql for the concatenation.

  The generated sql statement looks like this.

  I'm going to ADF Table, that only one column is with CommandLink if click the link commnad, it sails no coorsponding page or method of a bean. If I give same command link off the table it works well. But I have to spend a few perameters when the button is clicked.

  The problem here is that iAS performs security, so if the credentials do not then no request is sent through BPEL is why you don't see anything in the logs BPEL. Basically, iAS intercepts the request. I hate to sound like a broken record, this is another restriction on this configuration. GOSA provides statistics about the success and failure of queries.

  I'm not sure what we can do about the error message, I think it's just a basic http error.
