• Why no lap decent don't trip with Fireworks and Flash Catalyst

  I was really disappointed to know that Flash Catalyst is more or less designed to work with illustrator and Photoshop and not Fireworks.  Why leave out the solid designers who like to work in fireworks.  FW has been designed to work with the web and flash and web before Photoshop yet, Photoshop is in and we're out.

  I do not understand this and thought that if I was missing something, maybe some light can be made.  If not, shame on you, Adobe, for leading me to believe that Fireworks is an application that would be equally implemented and supported with all the most recent related development.

  Of course we get work abounds, but that sucks in the workplace have been I am trying to be productive.  If anyone has links to large or resources on fireworks and Flash Catalyst make me know.

  Is this a trend for users of fireworks or am I reading too much into this and a great solution is just around the corner.

  There is a good chance that I'm wrong, but it was I think I understand the catalyst named has been created to help users of long-standing program Adobe design (ie: IL & PS) to migrate the Flash work. They can finish their project in catalyst or continue to move the project as a result of Flash.  Users of Macromedia were already accustomed to swinging working FW & FL.

  You can still save, PSD or FXG of FW to import in the catalyst.

  The ability to go back and change with the PS and IT the catalyst is a very new feature. So new, you need to download the extension from labs.adobe.com interface. Maybe it's that an extension is coming to FW.

  EDIT: I just tried with Photoshop. The round trip is not too well implemented. Someone using only fireworks should certainly not be envious of a user of Photoshop.

  How can I assign the hand (H) tool to the key on the digitizer?

  I have another wacom tablet that accompanies a digitizer with two buttons, and one of them is assigned automatically to the hand tool, which makes the work in photoshop and illustrator incredibly easy. It would be particularly handy with the x220t that you lose access to the physical keyboard when in tablet mode. (As a suggestion, buy a cheap compact keyboard, small functionality and efficiency tenfold when you work in tablet mode, of course)

  Currently, the button is indexed as the right click. Useful sorta, but not really. It would be much more effective to have the hand tool. How do I? !

  1 first, make sure that you use the latest driver of pen (wacom ISD 7.0.2.19 I remember correctly).

  2 open Pen Tablet control panel properties

  3. click on the drop down menu to the function button, it is currently acts as a right click

  4. choose the key combination, press h, name the function and press OK

  I'm still using Photoshop CS3, but something with Photoshop retouching CP is quite simple. Assuming that you have captured a movie in CP and edit a background to add visual effects:

  • Make sure you have the visible CP library (window, library, or CTRL-ALT-L)
  • Navigate to the slide where you want to change the background
  • Use the Quick Menu (right mouse click) and the background to find in the library (or CTRL-ALT-F)
  • this context will be activated in the library panel, right click here and choose "Edit with...", finding Photoshop.EXE; If you have a BMP associated with Photoshop "Edit with Photoshop" will be available in the menu and you can choose this option
  • Edit in Photoshop, what you want to do
  • Close file will jump to the top of the question "save changes to..." XXXX.bmp before closing ", and you will do that"
  • you will Captivate and the groundswell will be adapted as you edited it.

  You can also import Photoshop files immediately, with or without layers in the library, but I think that it was not your question.

  Whenever I get an update of Vista that it hits my flash drive.  I must uninstall Falsh Player and the re - install Flash player.  I'M GETTING REALLY ANNOYED THAT CONINUING QUESTION.  Sorry for the caps but I'm really getting fed up. Can't Microsoft and Adobe worked something so I can't continue to do such stupid things.

  Adobe Flash works fine in my Vista and Win7, IE7, and IE8 - but only
  in 32-bit versions of Internet Explorer. In 64-bit Vista/Win7, Microsoft defines 32 bits
  IE by default; to run THE 64-bit, you must specifically select - and be
  running Windows 64-bit, of course. I changed the setting in Win7 to run
  IE8 64-bit by default, so I have to remember to select 32 - bit, when I want to
  play YouTube or some other Flash videos.

  But I had no problem with the Flash Player, version 10 updates to break.
  I reinstalled Win7 (beta and RTM) several times in the past year, so
  I had to reinstall many apps - including Flash - after each of these
  Re - installs, but neither Windows nor Adobe can be blamed for this.
