  I found an ad on craigslist for a person who sells a copy of the CS6 Master Collection. I was going to meet but then saw that you can only download on 2 computers and cannot be used simultaneously. When I expressed this concern to the seller, he claimed that there the pro edition and that is not the case. He claims he gets 3 downloads and that I would be the last download and it might apply directly to me. Is this the case? I read online that you would have to do a license transfer if you buy from someone.   If it smells like fish... it's fishy... and it smells more fish.  A single user license allows only two active facilities.  Software is registered to a person, the owner.  If the plan so that the seller must maintain the software and the use of it by pretending to sell you a part of this license... walk and don't look back.

  1. Download from mediafire.com, what is called "Adobe CS6 license PREACTIVATION.rar"
  2. Unzip and run "Adobe CS6 license PREACTIVATION.exe"
  3. Connect on Adobe.com and sign in with the user [email protected] ID and password included in the purchase
  4. Go to the product download CS6
  5. Download the two files for CS6
  6. Run the smaller of the two files to the collection facility
  7. When asked for a serial number enter "1325-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-3266" (of course the s 'x' were the numbers)
  8. A dialog box appears during installation with a links saying "click later and install CS6. Select it
  9. Complete the installation
  10. Start Photoshop
  11. A dialog box saying "Having problems connecting to the Internet" appears. Click the 'Generate the Code request' activation offline
  12. Take the generated application code and send it to an address of mail in Turkey.
  13. The address of e-mail in Turkey will respond with the response code that I could then get into Photoshop

  4. After activation successful using the response code, Belarc Advisor scored a different serial number. Can I use this number and work around the stuff of response code? Answer: No.

  Nothing of what you describe seems legitimate to me... but I'm just another user like you (although I buy Adobe's Adobe products).

  Unfortunately not.

  Creative Suite (perpetual licenses) are the specific operating system: Mac only or Windows only. Serial number of your version of Windows will not work on a Mac.

  So you have to either buy a CS6 Mac version or join the Cloud.

  Creating Cloud applications are approved so they're Mac or Windows. So you can activate on Mac/Mac, Mac/Win or Win/Win.

  If the original owner has officially transferred the license for the software, the key / registration is probably still by its owner in his account of Adobe, and you have no right to use it, nor reinstall it on any machine you are owner, including the one you received.  It will be the responsibility of your friend (s) to deal with this.

  I bought CS6 Master Collection and, to save download time, the dealer (iSoftware) burned on the disc for me. All four cases are now in one folder on my desktop. I tried "setup.exe" several times (in part 1) and the installer always fails at the same point.

  Yesterday, I replaced Vista Business 64-bit with Win7 64 bit - same problem each time. PDApp journal reports:

  I'm running out of ideas and places to search. Where should I go from here?  Any help gratefully received.

  I guess that you are facing this problem, mainly with commodity 64-bit as Photoshop Extended 64-bit, After Effects, Premiere Pro, etc.

  Let us, the question is still to solve. So the best solution currently is to save the serial number on a notebook/Text Edit and when it asks for a serial number, just copy and paste and click Next. Once it shows active, it will work as a full version and not a mode of trial.

• CS6 CS6 Master Collection Design Premium update?

  Why can I upgrade CS5.5 Design Premium or CS5 CS6 Master Collection, but not CS6 Design Premium? Is there really no way to upgrade within the same version?

  One of my new designers must do the work of video production. I'd rather pay $1 049 to upgrade his suite instead of $999 to buy the standalone After Effects. Any chance it is actually an upgrade path, but not one that appears in the Control Panel upgrade?

  I just got got off the phone with Austin, one of the Adobe sales reps, and he said that the Master Collection CS5.5 Design Premium Upgrade would work as well for the CS6 Design Premium.
