• Provide a fixed position on a long page indicator... How?

  I have a long page, all text which is divided by year. Each section is placed in a < div.minutes #2009 >; < div.minutes #2008 > etc. I would like to have some sort of back flow indicator as to what the user is in the article. I tried to do this by a tab as a png image and place it on the right side of the page... BUT... I have problems big tent to accomplish this or other solutions ...

  • Ideally I'd like 2009.png image to be placed in the bar of 20px wide on the right side of the page and stay in the same position as the screen scrolls with the content of < div.minutes #2009 >. Then to be replaced by the 2008.png as the content of this < div.minutes #2008 > is on screen etc.
  • or, an image placed each vertical ~ 600px move with the text... but positioned on the far right above the right sidebar of 20px.
  • or, give up my 20px wide bar, < div.maincontent > the entire width and do a column in each < div.minutes #xxxx > fake 20px then fill in this context with the appropriate *.png and repeat on y

  Maybe I'm missing something (I often do it), but if you use PHP pages for this, why aren't you going the full distance and put all your content in a MySql database?  Then with the help of PHP includes statements, you could fill pages dynamically with just minutes of the requested year.  The result of a single page for 2009.  Another page for 2008 result, etc...  You wouldn't need a section indicator.  The page header would make quite clear to everyone what section they are in.   Make sense?

  this.writeDiagnostics will be work AM and not CO. You mentioned that your code is AM, which is why I give (this.writeDiagnostics).

• Google Maps do very long page

  Hey,.

  I have a problem whereby the google map widget has become very long page. You can see the issue here: Contact - advanced rchitecture Ltd

  The page should be limited to the lower part of the black as with all the other pages on the site.

  I've narrowed the issue down to Google maps removing them in fact, the page appears correctly.

  Anyone got any ideas?

  I doubt if it is really only with just two Google Maps.

  Try copy and paste in an empty page, even in a new file and see what happens.

  An element that I can see which takes at least 2000px of vertical space for himself already, is the logo 'Rchitecture Advanced' on the left side. Such a master page item normally should not force the page to scroll, but maybe there is another setting or contradictory combination unhappy or she look upward.   Rather than using PHP_SELF, you can simply use the name of the page with a hash anchor link, like this

  MyForm.php #contact

  I only use PHP_SELF on some old forms, that I have not updated. I prefer to use the name of the file. This allows you to mix both POST and GET at the same time, so useful, like this:

  Go into your subpage and manage pages. Beside each page, you have a checkbox to show or hide the page. When you clear the Show check box, the page is not available in the navigation model.

  Hi Blaine,

  You can add an invokeAction to your pagedef (click the sign under the executable section and select invokeAction +) and associate the ExecuteWithParams method for it (add action ExecuteWithParams binding to the pagedef if you don't have it already). After that, set the refresh of the invokeAction to renderModel.

  Now, the invokeAction would be called when the page is loaded.

  I'm afraid that this will be enough to do the hard, you need to select everything below space that you wan to delete, and then drag it to the bottom manually. It's the only option I'm afraid!
