Unable to find a replacement, I'll have to try to replace the component that is visibly damaged. Not easy because it's crowded in there and may fail because there are perhaps other failing components that didn't explode or evacuate. I really need ot get this unit backup and running.

  I think that all the speakers for Satellite A200/A205 must be compatible with your laptop.
  I found this reference numbers: V000100220 he left and right speakers s kit for Toshiba Satellite A200/205/A210/A215
  The speakers are not Harman Kardon.

  As far as I know to remove the screw that is placed at the bottom of the unit on the right side. Then, it should be possible to pull out of the unit.
  But I m not a technician and I can t tell you the detailed procedure.
  In this case, I recommend to contact the service partner for a replacement because he has more experience in such cases.

  I took it apart to clean (after like...) 4 years of regular use) and just realized that the fan has stopped working since this point. He works at an ambient temperature of 140-150ff now - turn serious ongoing fire.

  I'm not terribly great with hardware and struggling to understand this fan to get as a replacement. Any help would be appreciated.

  You can buy this part in many online shops. You'll need one that is compatible with 2.5 SATA HDD.

  Otherwise I would recommend contacting a Toshiba ASP in your country if you need a part specifically for your model of laptop.

  Hello all, first post here but I have been a regular guest for a long time. This forum has been a great help! I searched through the forum for an answer, but the information was confusing and contradictory, so I thought I would ask here.

  The screen on my ASPIRE V5-571P-6604 is cracked. There is a right diagonal cut 3 inches on it as if someone he sliced with a knife. I am still able to see everything on the screen, but the touch function is lost, so I need to replace. I looked online but I don't know exactly what are the parts I need. There are ads for the screen and then the digitizer and then the bezel and then maybe other things. Is someone can you please tell me exactly what I need to buy to replace this screen so that the crack is a party and the touch function is restored?

  Again, everything else on the laptop is functional and intact except the crack on the glass of the screen and the loss of the touch functionality. Thank you in advance!

  You will perhaps only to replace the digitizer touch if the screen is not damaged. There is glass in front of the screen.

  Photos for Mac is the only application I know of, who keeps the aperture settings. Too bad it does not your other needs. It does not allow to customize the workspace with presets like Aperture, it does not support the presets for metadata and bath not changing, almost no support for the referenced images.
