• Jelly Bean and gallery issues

  Just our phones updated to jelly bean and bf and I have the same problem. When we go to the gallery and select the albums of camera images remain for a few and then the Gallery closes without reason. No error message or anything. I have rebooted the phone, did a hard reset, erased the cache of cameras and data always the same question. I also tried to remove my sd British Colombia card, it seemed only affect the camera Gallery, but then I noticed that her time out of the Gallery, even when I select an album.

  This problem occurs because Windows Vista cannot update the thumbnail cache.

  In Windows Vista, the "Thumbnail" option from the view and menu displays is not called "Vignettes" but "Large icons" or "Medium icons" etc. When you choose one of the following options, you will get the thumbnail view of your folders and files in the right side of Windows Explorer or any other window display pane.

  Windows Explorer has a preview pane which can be opened, which can display the contents of certain file types and play movies.

• Miniature pictures

  Hey guys, I work to recreate a Web site in frontpage files and I'm on the photo gallery page and I copy the miniature photos and paste them into an AP DIV and bind them to a higher resolution image. When I saw the site in IE 7, it has the red X in the left corner and does not show the picture but it links to and shows the image at higher resolution. How can I fix?

  You shouldn't need that / in front of the word Pictures in your path. Have you tried to delete that?

  

• thumbnails and vista ultimate

  I had problems last week with media player in Vista Business, so on the advice of here, I have improved. Everything went smoothly, relativley until this morning.  Media and Expressions work just fine. However, I backup images that I download in RAW and canon in the past which was not a problem to display in "my pictures".

  The problem is that when I load files to display thumnails, only jpeg format that are displayed. What is even more strange, it's that the first second or two, raw images are flashed on the thumbnail and then disappear behind an image of the 'camera '.  As these things were backed up depending on location and dates, I really don't want all dumped in photoshop, but prefer to keep them on my backup drive.

  I downloaded the updates of photoshop, but is there something else I should know about reading RAW with this new Super-Duper super does everything version?

  Hi Kate,.

  I would like for you to clear the cache of thumbnails. Clearing the cache of thumbnails will empty the cache and not delete it. The cache will rebuild as Vista reload the thumbnails for the icons in the cache when you navigate your folders.

  To clear the cache of thumbnails:

  1. Open the Start Menu
  2. Type Disk Cleanup in the Search box and press enter
  3. Clear all the check boxes except for the miniature box, and then click OK
  4. Go to your pictures folder and see if that solves your problem

  In order for Windows Vista to generate thumbnails of the image files RAW, codecs are necessary because the RAW formats are the property of your camera brand and model. The following link will give you more information as well as the ability to download the codec for your cannon.

• Gallery of images using Javafx

  I have a folder that is full of pictures. I am trying to build a desktop application that can perform the following tasks.

  1. Select the folder and view images as thumbnails, as we see in the picasa/all image viewer.

  2. the image should be clickable and can be opened in full screen using the application.

  3. several image choices must be possible.

  Now, I'm stuck at the first requirment, where I'm not able to identify how to show the files that I've analyzed the file as thumbnails and stack together to show part of my application.

  I know that I don't have any piece of code, I just wanted a logic whereby I can develop it. One idea is welcome.

  I use ImageViews instead of a button and register the listeners of the mouse to manage the selection.

  You want to make decisions about how you handle issues of memory, as Jorn said. You can load to the top of the resized images miniature versions and then reload the version full image to view it in full screen, or you can load the full versions of all the images and just resize the views of these miniatures. The first method preserves the overall memory and might display a little faster (not sure about this) thumbnails, but there would be a little late to see the full version of the images. The second method uses more memory overall, but show the full version would be very fast. The second method would also provide mechanisms for the user to resize the image, if it was something you want.

  I would use a FlowPane or a TilePane to display the collection of miniatures. See , working with presentations in JavaFX: available built-in shutters | JavaFX tutorials and documents 2 for a description of these.

  Then you can do

  For the selection, I would create an ObservableSet of selected images. Depending on how you view the full version, you may need to store file objects in this set, or it may be sufficient to store the Image objects in there. So, something like:

  In your createImageView method (or a method that you call from there), you can save the mouse with the ImageView listeners; When the mouse is clicked simple, either replace everything in the game with the current image, or (for example, if the shortcut key is pressed) add the current image to the set. It could also save a manager of mouse double click here to view the full image.

  Always in the createImageView method, I would register a setChangeListener with all images selected, which ensures that the display of the image has a style of "selected" class when it is overall and has not this category if it's not in the game. Then use one stylesheet external (say) draw a border around the image display when selected.

• Canon S100 and Camera RAW 6.6

  I upgraded from Photoshop Elements 9 to 10 elements for Canon S100 RAW compatibility.

  I installed the 10 elements, and then updated the Camera RAW to 6.6 in the Menu Help. When I try to open a folder with a S100 RAW CR2 file I get the following error:

  

  I have the last RAW Canon 1.9.0 installed Codec.

  I searched the online support and followed the instructions to uninstall 10 items (I also uninstalled Elements 9). I rebooted and reinstalled 10 items, I then installed the file RAW 6.6 directly from the file on the page: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=5316. I always get the same error message when I go to the folder containing the S100 CR2 files.

  However, if I close the window error and try opening the S100 RAW file it opens in a window titled: Camera RAW 6-6-Canon PowerShot S100, which can then be opened in 10 items after adjustment.

  Thus, 10 items can work correctly with the exception of the error window that keeps poping up until I have the open folder that contains the files RAW S100.

  Any comments or help appreciated.

  The message you see comes from Windows and has nothing to do with all the Adobe products that the mere fact that they use Windows file / open dialogs to locate the files.

  Windows is to see a CR2 file and probably wants to show you the thumbnail for it and the thumbnail Manager for CR2 files registered with Windows is the Canon RAW Codec.  When Windows asks you the Canon RAW Codec to display the thumbnail of the file CR2 S100, Canon RAW Codec is quite smart to know it is too old, but the link it gives you leads to a place that does contain any recent to install codec.  Cannon was slow to release updates for the RAW Codec.  Version 1.9.0 is the last April 2011, so all new cameras that have come out since then no are not supported, but it is towards the end of February 2012 and if they update once a year, so perhaps it will be updated soon.

  On my system, I use the payfor FastPictureViewer Codec Pack to display the thumanils of various image files:

  It shows miniature S100 and found in full screen okay even if it is much older than this model of camera.

  Select one miniature pixelation and try, if reprocessing RAW format will help.  The last RAW support update that you have installed with the upgrade may have changed you the treatment for your camera RAW format.

  To reprocess the file open RAW image in edit mode and use the command "Image > reprocess RAW."  Does return correct thumbnail?

• Thumbnail images in Photos Apple have square rose in 'Years' & 'Collections '.

  A few photos Apple thumbnails are appearing with odd squares, pink when I display Photos Apple mode in 'Years' & 'Collections'. When I change the display mode of "Collections" the strange visual artifacts disappear. I have a brand new (end of 2015) 4.0 GHZ i7 iMac with monitor 27 inches 5 k and has the same behavior miniature bizzare unheard of before. Weird that it's pink artifacts appear in only a few thumbnails of 2012 and 2013 but no other years of my photos that go from 2001 to 2016. I've upgraded to OSX 10.11.6 a week ago and I scrambed the order of all of my albums. I wonder if this could be related to the upgrade. Very puzzled.

  your question is a bit confusing because there is no "years and collections" - view in the Photos you can see years or moments or a single photo collections

  If you select one of these "miniature bad" and do rotate 90 degrees then back fotate it solve the problem?

  Hello therealatri, it is a known problem that is triggered by hardware acceleration and driver ATI catalyst 12.8 on windows 8. in fact it should already be a block in place in firefox for these systems assigned to use hardware acceleration, which would have been unable to operate at your place...
