• Web forms work when the site is not hosted on Business Catalyst?

  I launched a site Muse this week on AWS and successful web forms the test, and then stopped sending confirmation emails when the DNS was changed.  The form is not error. Emails are not just come through.  Any thoughts?

  AWS does NOT allow unless you have an email as [email protected]

  GoDaddy (that I use for me and my clients) allow Gmail, yahoo, bing, etc. users to receive emails from muse contact forms.

• Something keeps removing my web form when I post to Muse

  I'm developing a site in Muse.

  I create a web form in British Colombia and generate the HTML that I copy and paste into a block HTML in Muse. Everything seems fine. I publish the page and when I submit the form I am redirected to a page that says, in red letters, "you deleted your web form, you must re-create the form in British Colombia," or something to that effect. Of course, I'm going to British Colombia and the web form disappeared.

  Why would it be? I've re-created several times, and same result every time. I also tried publishing under a Module link, and it's the same thing.

  There is a solution in this thread that works for me: essentially the form must be used at least once through the front-end server of the site to prevent the replacement of Muse. Creating a unique record keep somehow vivid form.

  Dreamweaver is a front-end development tool. Databases and processing of forms are back-end development. You can certainly use DW as your environment to work with backend scripts, but it is relatively unimportant to the main development workflow.

  So, find a course on using PHP/MySQL. It is not really important if you work with DW or another IDE.

• How would I stop a BC web form to redirect to a new page and display a label of success instead of AJAX?

  All I want to know is how can I stop the default action of the BC to redirect a web page after a web form submission and would rather have it displays a success message with information on the same page using AJAX? Again, I've seen this used in the website Enough of pollution and it seemed incredible and seamless. I'd like to be able to offer this same effect on my site. These people are doing an amazing job... Will not lie, kinda jealous haha.

• Integrated Web form and online store

  Anyone have examples of how to create a Web of BC form that is built into a shop online BC?  I need to create a membership page form where users can buy different levels of membership in the club.  I saw videos on Web forms and various videos on the online store, but I can't find how to integrate them in a page.  Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.  Here is the site of the club for reference.  http://prsrunningclub.com

  Basically the way I realized this before was:

  1 - site Manager > Create Secure area > create your subscriptions * areas * to assign for example (Standard, Premium, Gold).

  2 - site Manager > go to Web form > create your subscriptions * forms * to assign for example (Standard, Premium, Gold) > secure area * choose sell subscription to a secure area.

  (Don't forget to configure the values for the sale of the subscription)

  3. create 3 pages each for each subscription for example/subscription-gold and put the form for gold, so when someone wants to subscribe to this area they will be redirected to this area. (* MAKE SURE to LINKS ARE SENT VIA HTTPS) for payment.

  4 - Crete your customers accounts for each subscription.

  The only settings I did took the H3 header on opt-in and page navigation after the action to get rid of the opt in BC function as default. I tried to download the source code as well and I'm having the same problem. The web Page is here " copy " and a version of what I was creating the page to look like here is ' home ' As you can see, the 'House' version allows me to scroll past where I would have placed the shape box while the 'copy' stops at any user to parade before. I have called the shape slightly from the "development" of British Colombia under the style sheets tab and still tried to trouble shoot and get rid of the code to see if it affects something and it did not add style. For some reason only the HTML to the form is but I cannot understand what the section of the code would do that. Any ideas?

  I see that you have inserted a script tag open that you forgot to close, which generates errors on the page and prevent it from be returned correctly. You should ensure that the code that you insert in the Muse is syntactically correct.

  When you say that web forms, do you mean HTML forms or PDF forms? For web forms, Adobe has a number of products, you can use, including FormsCentral and Dreamweaver. For PDF forms, you can create them with Acrobat.

  If you want to create HTML forms with FormsCentral, which calls the web forms, you will need a subscription for the FormsCentral service. The FormsCentral application that comes with 11 Acrobat is used to create local PDF forms, but if you want to create web forms with him you will need a subscription.   In the Admin, your right hand side top panel, mouse over your name and go to 'my details '. You will see a check box "Enable online content editing. Check this box, click on save and logout. Connection again and goto site manager, you will see more options like file manager

  I'm trying to get some forms on a clients site.  He just wants an e-mail form and a postage labels, nothing too fancey submission form.

  I used Adobe Muse forms and they work a treat, by sending the contents of the form. My first question is, with the full report Adobe (the £46 per month with all software), there are no fees for these forms in a site is there?

  Second, the client wants some check boxes and combo boxes, somhting that muse custom forms.  I found called home "Web Forms" that allows me to create a form, but there seems to be loads attached to it?  y at - it a free version?

• Problem of sorting of web form and data record

  Hi everyone, I found something very strange when I using sorting in the web form. Here is the example:
  
  column: Jan, Feb. line: a1: a6
  
  1. I put number 1 to 6 in the column of Jan from A1 to A6
  2. I sort descending Jan column, now in the Jan column order shows from 6 to 1
  3. I put number 6 in [Feb columns and lines of the A6] (with the sorting of the results of the A6 is the first line) and saved, and the number 6 I entered now appears in the line A1! (column Feb)
  
  Could someone tell me how to capture and record data in the correct sort order? I mean what you entered Is What You Get

  Its a Bug 12901681: PLANNING FORMS DO NOT UPDATE THE CORRECT in the SORT CELL
  It is supposed to be fixed in 11.1.2.1.103.

  Oracle Hyperion Planning, Fusion Edition Release Patch Set Exception (PSE) 11.1.2.1.000: 13014294, please take note: this is a small patch of development and requires a password to access. It takes a different password for each platform. Raise a SR with Oracle and are looking for the same thing.

  Or its fixed in 11.1.2.2 as 12901689 - forms do no update the correct cells if the sorting option is selected.

  I can't style my web forms and I can't seem to find any another person having the same problem?

  I wonder what are the ways of everyone how they style it forms to he designs rather than the default style of business catalyst.

  I know where to find my style sheets, but I'd like to find some information to make it easy or if someone could direct me to a tutorial for the fastest and easiest way to forms of style with a break.

  Really, it's to you and your skills. You take the html code of the form BC and add class and elements etc. that you need.

• Forms for reports and the Web.Show_Document userid

  I inherited several form - combinations of report to update and I am not familiar with the reports. I'm working to be converted to run under Web Forms / Reports 10
  
  In a pair of form/report, the form passes the user of the report ID, and I was able to convert that.
  
  In another pair, however, I don't see how the form passes authentication user name to run the report. The form creates a list of parameters, adds a number of parameters, but no user name, and then calls Run_Product. It works without problem, immediately send a report to my printer. Can someone explain what the form of forms 6 on connection information to the report? Where can I find the mechanisms which achieve?

  Because you don't have to call a report from a form. Or you call a report of a form through web.show_document instead of via run_report_object.

  Is - it so the report can be run with a different username than the Forms user ID?

  It could be if you need this feature. But this seems very strange to me. Normally, you would then run the report with a default user defined in the mapping of keys to server file cgicmd.dat.

  What is the difference between Run_Report_Object and Web.Show_Document.

  Run_report_object is a direct communication between the drivers of forms and reports on the application server.
  Web.show_document opens a URL in the browser on the client computer.

  I have two questions.

  1. how to customize the page that appears after you complete a web form. Filled sumarises the details page and thank the user fill in the form?

  2. we have created a web application to display information on a page, it does, but it is not pulling the CSS of the main model style. To make it work we been put inline CSS in the web application code, but is not ideal. Is there a way to make it look for the main CSS?
