• Can't export MPEG2 with SOUL CC 2014

  It seems that SOUL CC 2014 is not like me.  When you try to export a project of first CC 2014 in MPEG2, I get "cannot create movie.  Unknown error.  Switching to SOUL I get the same thing, but AVI seems to work.  Previous versions of the SOUL and the body appear to be good, it's just 2014.  Anyone else run into this again?  I really need to be able to export MPEG2 files.

  Hi kennb3,

  You use the correspondence-Source settings?  If so, could you try unchecking the boxes next to 'Profile' and 'Level' in the 'Video' tab in the dialog box encoding settings?  It solves your problem.  If this did not help, could you tell me the settings that you use for MPEG2 encoding?

• Problem importing .wmv in SOUL CC 2014

  I'm trying to change the codec on a video I have of .wmv .mov, but SOUL CC 2014 continues to come with an error message "unsupported file type" when I try to import it. I looked on the Adobe website, and it said that it is a supported format, so I don't know what to do about this. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

  Refer to the documentation that says that WMV (Windows Media Video) format can be imported on Windows only:

• Cannot create new presets in SOUL CC 2014

  Whenever I go into SOUL CC 2014 and try and create a new preset, that's what I see: Adobe Media Encoder CC strange Bug - YouTube 2014.

  In addition, whenever I leave SOUL, even when it is idling, just sitting there not doing anything, I always get the unexpected error message quit smoking: screenshot on 2014-07-30-02:24:31.png • Droplr whenever I leave SOUL I get that no matter what happens - super strange.

  I transcode my DSLR and AVCHD media through SOUL (Finally, I usually, that is) and now I'm kind of stuck. Without creation of a preset in the SOUL, you can not choose ProRes or any other custom codec of the prelude transcode codec-menu drop down it pulls directly from SOUL.

  In any case, it is not the question. Someone knows how to fix the problem that I see illustrated in the video screenshot above? I tried disabling prefs and by reinstalling fresh SOUL CC 2014 - all to nothing does not. Any help would be greatly appreciated - thanks!

  Ok.  Thanks for trying.  In fact, you have no need to uninstall and re - install SOUL after the removal of the alias "Presets".  Can you remove the alias "Presets" and simply run the SOUL?  This should solve the problem.

• Error running SOUL CC 2014 C++ at startup.

  First off, I have followed all the tutorials on the deletion of the folder Preferences etc... but still have the same problem whenever I run SOUL CC (2014)

• Transition issues when rendering SOUL CC 2014?

  I have a project of first Pro CC 2014.  It uses transitions on still clips and everything looks good in the preview window, but when I send to SOUL mixes changes somehow, and the images seem to pop on or off and sometimes darken on the previous image in strange ways.  I went to help the Mercury software engine in both applications.  Any suggestions?  Thank you.

  In Premiere Pro, choose sequence > sequence settings > deselect the Composite linear color option

• SOUL CC 2014 does not delete the intermediate files until you quit app

  Hi all

  I noticed a very annoying behavior in SOUL after upgrade to 2014 CC, which translates as the SOUL does not cleaning upp intermediate files after that compression is performed. These files are still left in the destination folder of the compressed filed and persist until I left SOUL (see screenshot):

  

  Did anyone else see this behavior?

  I don't know if I blame Adobe or Apple, since this behavior appeared after the upgrade to Maverick.

  Adobe Media Encoder CC 2014 on 'mid-2012' MacPro (MacPro5, 1) run OSX 10.9.3 and get this error when you try to launch Adobe Media Encoder CC 2014:

  Adobe Media Encoder has encountered an unexpected error and cannot continue.

  I uninstalled, reinstalled.  Authorities repeatedly checked and fixed.  Tried to delete all the plugins and who does not.  Also tried to modify text lists in the .app to OpenGL and CUDA remove all listed cards - who didn't quite fix either.

  At this stage it is uninstalled, and "if all goes well" everything will point to CC (version non-2014).  Adobe Media Encoder CC works very well.  Adobe Media Encoder CS6 works very well.

  Impossible to find all the other reports of this problem.

• Problems Wrator DCP in SOUL CC 2014

  STC made FRO SOUL is great, but I'm having some problems:

  1 Wrator DCP informs a fixed bitrate of 250Mbps convertion, but I'm getting final DCPS with variable and rates very low, like 38Mkps, or even lower.

  EDITED: It seams it is not a problem at all. QuVIS claims to use a quality priority encoding method, encoding rates are fixed and variable up to 250Mbps to a studio quality standard not as I thought. Good indeed.

  2 NeoDCP player will not play some STC due form chassis numbers unmatched audio and video MXF

  3 render sometimes freezes for no apparent reason.

  PS: I use the new update of the QuVIS site recommended: DCP package for Adobe Media Encoder 8 | QuVIS

  I am from Brazil and CC 2014 instaled After Effects and Premiere of defult in Brazilian Portuguese. Sequence and compositions are named with special characters by default: "men" and "composicao. Just know that if we try to make a sequence or composition with such characters in its name, Wraptor STC makes but can't mound of the final DCP.

  I think it's a stupid bug.

  Why have I not the Folio overlays on Indesign CC 2014 tool? Why not apply each recommended solution - 'Refresh' in 'HELP' in indesign is greyed out.   Yes, it's exactly what you need to do. Delete this file and then the installation should work. The file, you must remove varies depending on what operating system you are on. See turn off auto-mises updated | Application manager | COMPUTER administrators, down near the bottom, for a list of locations.

  Instead of just outright deleting the file, you can rename it to something else and get the same result. That way if you want to put the file for some reason, you can rename it right back to AdobeUpdaterAdminPrefs.dat.

• SOUL CC 2014 cannot add some Presets HELP!

  I'm on a Mac OS 10.9.4

  I have a rotation beach ball whenever I try to add a preset. If I import a preset, it works temporarily.

  But the preset seems to disappear from the menu, replaced by a h264 with no information?

  If I try to delete the setting predefined, once again a rotation beach ball and I have to force to leave.

  First CC2014 see the imported preset.

  I deleted the prefs, reinstalled SOUL, pressed shift when launching and checked permissions.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Try going to Users/%username%/Documents/Adobe/Adobe Media encode/8.0 and delete the presets folder. Then restart SOUL. It's working now?

  I've updated my SOUL and when I try to import my previous preset settings I get the following message:

  "Preset could not be imported. Any exporter found for this preset.

  The default setting is just a simple .f4v

  Photoshop CC 2014 is version 15.0.  You run the wrong application.

  Old location:

  I recently changed my laptop Elitebook 2540p motherboard. When I installed windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit on my computer the computer lists not all audio devices in the Device Manager page. I checked the bios for all faulty settings and they are all good. Theres no yellow mark in the list of devices is and all the drivers appear to be installed.

  New location:

  Installed windows 7 and computer again found / installed normally audio devices. I tested computer for hours to read the audio data from it and everything worked well. I restarted computer several times / re installed the battery on the computer. A reboot the computers audio button mute fast under the screen seems to be orange and the speaker sound in windows icon has been marked as X I have check the list of devices in Device Manager and there is no audio device listed (no sound device at all). Once I restarted computer and before the computer started downloading windows I pressed the mute button and it turned blue. Then I went to windows and audio devices / audio devices has been registered and work / sound working again.

  Old location:

  I have motherboard integrated IDT audio device.

  When I try to install audio drivers from hp for 2540p site I get "your system does not have the minimum requirements for this patch." And the Device Manager does not list all IDT audio devices.

  I then installed xp, computer peripheral audio IDT normally found and sounds work properly.

  New location:

  After I made the new windows 7 install and all my audio drivers installed / devices showed in the list of devices / audio worked / I downloaded sound drivers driver HP site and install them to the computer.

  Audio problems has not appeared again after my screen mute button HP turned to orange / speaker Windows sound was marked as X / computer didn t found no audio device.

  Currently waiting if the problem happens again and try to think what would cause this (hardware or software problem)? And how to solve this problem permanently.
  

  UPDATE: I have fully charged battery / computer was off while what to do and the problem came back. Mute button fast turned to orange. No audio devices and speakers marked as x. "No audio device installed".
  

  I then installed USB headset and the computer recognizes the and the sounds are use of usb device. Theres still no IDT audio device, shown in Device Manager. Only usb headset work.
  

  Any help for this problem?
  

  -BIOS is updated to the latest version of the HP driver download center.

  -All windows drivers are installed.

  -Bios configured correctly.

  -Reassembled the motherboard and tested all the cables are correctly placed.
