  Are you referring to DC Acrobat or Acrobat Reader DC.

  Acrobat Reader DC is a free application & Acrobat DC is a purchased app.

  To uninstall the application, do so simply in the Applications folder in the trash folder.

  If it's a copy of volume license installed, you will need to contact your employer to find the product key and get the installation files.

  If it is preinstalled at the factory with Windows 7 Professional, then use the recovery partition to reinstall Windows 7.

  New computers coming often pre-installed with Windows 7 have what is called a recovery partition. This is used to reinstall an operating system in the case of a system failure. To access it, you need to start when you start your computer by pressing a function key. This can be either F1, F2, F9, F10, F11, F12 key DEL or tab.   Use the same serial number. There is no problem to do that.

  Could you specify if you have Acrobat 9 Pro or Standard version.

  You must turn off Acrobat from the old machine and then install on the new of a CD/DVD and then activate with the same serial key.

  Usually, uninstalling and reinstalling is useful if the program files are damaged. When the question if an add-on or setting, so you don't expect to see a change. (I assume that you delete all your personal data, because that could blow your bookmarks.)

I had to remove the program, remove the Preferences folder in Appdata, then click on registry local machine > software > mozilla and then delete the registry keys.
