Oracle VM Templates for Peoplesoft
I have seen that Oracle has released VM for Peoplesoft HCM 9.1 and 8,5 PT models. It seems reasonable that they can create templates of VM Peoplesoft Financials 9.1 and Peoplesoft Portal 9.1 PT 8.5? It would be nice to test the whole suite as a precursor to the upgrade.Looks like more Peoplesoft VM are coming around, read the next thread in the dedicated forum of Peoplesoft VM:

Oracle SQL Developer Data Model Version 4.0.0.833
Someone tell me where to find templates to define templates for keys, indexes and constraints?
In version 3, it has been in tools > General Options > naming standards > models
Hello
In the 4.0.0.833 version, you must open the Properties dialog box for the design (by doing a right click on the entry for the relevant design in the browser tree, and select properties).
Then in the design properties dialog box, select settings > naming Standard > models

Indeed, my org.eclipse.emf.ecore eclipse version is 2.8.3.
Oracle Enterprise Pack for Eclipse is expected to support eclipse version 2.8.3 for eclipse 3.7 org.eclipse.emf.ecore indigo SR2.
EMF 2.8.x comes from the release of Juno. EPCO does not support dependencies mixture of different versions. You will need to move to a new version of Eclipse to use a newer version of the EMF with EPCO. I recommend you to proceed directly to Kepler at this stage.

Oracle Grid Infrastructure for a stand-alone server - licensing
Is a separate license required for the Oracle Network Infrastructure when you use Oracle Grid Infrastructure for a stand-alone Servicer? I compare it to non-GI installation where the database using cooked file systems for storage, and so only the database is allowed.
Env:
- Oracle 11 g grid infrastructure
- Standalone database: Oracle 11.2.0.4 64-bit Enterprise Edition
- Windows Server 2008 Standard
Thanks for the advice / references.
Tony
As other posters have suggested, better check with Oracle.
There is a good reference here in the docs of Oracle Online license, https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E18248_01/doc/license.112/e10594.pdf
in respect of infrastructure of grid / search "components of Oracle Grid Infrastructure.
It would be useful to check around popularity of ASM / GI on windows. I worked between some flavors of * nix & Windows, ASM is great, but not a huge number of Windows installs that I have come across seem to use it. I'd certainly * nix however if (even if not!) considering the DSO. Sit together much cleaner

Oracle Developer Tools for Visual Studio needs an Oracle Client for the Windows Installation?
Hi everyone, I need to know if Oracle Developer Tools for Visual Studio is in need of a customer Oracle for Windows installed
Thanks for your time
Yes, you have the Oracle Client. However, you don't need to install the Oracle Client separately. ODT automatically includes the Oracle customer in each ODAC installation.
The next version of the ODAC have an ODT version that uses ODP.NET, successful pilot. This version is not longer an Oracle Client.

Why can I download and install all Oracle ATS products for free?
Why can I download and install all Oracle ATS products for free? When I installed, I was invited for all licenses, or buy anything.
I want to know why this is possible and if there are plans to charge it in the future?
I know not exactly produced ATS of Oracle, but many Oracle products can be downloaded and used free of charge for learning purposes.
As a general rule, if you intend to use the products in commerce, you must pay for a license, otherwise you illegally use.
This is usually described in the T & C that you agree to when you download the software.

Custom template for related products?
So, this is the first time I try to customize an ecommerce solution beyond the normal stuff of the BC. Customer wants a specific view for related products, so my first thought was to use a custom template, but it doesn't seem to work.
So I almost with the help of the model of module, a decline in the amount of 1 - and hoping I can use a custom template for the display of the small product instead since I use that related products.
I forgot something? Is it possible to use a custom template for the {tag_relatedproducts}?
Thank you Joel however I have more control over the layout as a few styles of it. I ended up jumping in with the beta version of liquid to get what I need, what gave me some other customizations.
TAGS cannot take a custom template variable, I chose to store it in a tag "capture." So based on some conflicts of naming of my catalog images, I was able to target specific catalogs, then browse related products and build them up as I wanted.
Here is an example of what I chose to go with.
{capture products %} %
{tag_productlist, true true, 3,}
{% for %} endcapture
model {module_catalogue catalogId = "{{this.id"}} "=" "collection ="cat"}
{tag_name}
{% If {cat.imageUrl} contains 'show' and ({{this.id}} == {{tag_productlist_5_8.catalogId}}%}}
{tag_productlist, true true, 3,}
{% elsif {cat.imageUrl} contains "display" %}
{% for %} tag_productlist_5_8.items products
{% endfor %}
{% products.items %} elsif
{tag_cataloguelist, true true, 2,}
{% for %} tag_catalogueList_3_9.items products
{% endfor %}
{% other %}
{tag_cataloguelist, true true, 2,}
{tag_productlist, true true, 3,}
{% endif %}

Problem establish Oracle Database Gateway for SQL Server
I configured dblink between Oracle and SQL Server by using the 'Oracle Database Gateway for SQL Server' method.
I use dg4odbc and freetds, suite Doc-ID 561033.1 .
I have my isql and osql works correctly, tsql.
But get below error when query any table/column of Oracle sql * for the sql server database.
Select subscription_type in Address@ITSMSP;
ORA-28511: lost RPC connection to heterogeneous remote agent using SID = ORA-28511: lost CPP
connecting to heterogeneous remote agent to help
SID = (Description = (Address = (Protocol = TCP)(Host=localhost) (port = 1522)) (CONNECT_DATA = (SID = ITSM-Prod)))
ORA-02063: preceding the line of ITSMSP
As per below track appears after the connection is a failure.
I get this error with each table or column selection.
I already prepare DBlink user id and password with the double quotes and link with the apostrophe.
One thing surprised me when I close my session it request commit or rollback.
Although I don't do anything except select.
I already tried by setting autocommit on, but still getting the same error.
We create the oracle for sql server before database gateway. This time, few things are different:
1. the name of the server (on sql server database) contains a '-' hyphen.
2. name of database server Sql contain also one '-' hyphen.
2 sql database server for windows 64 - bit OS, prior, we used 32 bits.
Please let me know if anyone set the Oracle database gateway using dg4odbc and freetds to sql server where the database of sql server resident in 64-bit windows machine.
Here's the snapshot trace: remove the server name with *.

Thanks for the information. 2.2 UnixODBC driver manager is quite old and there is now one more late 2.3.1 version available here.http://www.unixODBC.org/
by clicking on the tab "Download".
Can you download and install this version then use in the configuration instead of the 2.2 version?Kind regards

-KumarHi Kumar,
In 10g, you can query x$ ksxpia. If the cluster_interconnect is stored in the OCR (by default), you will get
SQL > select INST_ID select, PUB_KSXPIA, PICKED_KSXPIA, NAME_KSXPIA, IP_KSXPIA, x$ ksxpia;
If you have specified the cluster_interconnects parameter in your init.ora:
Columns to look in: INST_ID select PICK NAME_KSXPIA IP_KSXPIA P
And also you can use 'CPI oradebug' to see who connects the database uses:
SQL > setmypid oradebug
SQL > oradebug CPIIt could be that useful...
Thank you
