page 34 000 excel file must be converted to pdf format

I have a page 34 000 excel file that I need to convert to PDF. The excel file is 13 mb. I use excel 2013 on Win 7.

In excel, I tried to save in pdf format.  It has never been completed.  I have let it run day and night, but it gets to 90 percent and crashes.

Last night, I tried to convert within Adobe (let it run all night) and found it crashed shortly during the night.

I really want it's a pdf because it is an excel file, and it would be simpler for traceability and verification purposes.

My questions are:

1. is there a limit of size or the maximum file page to conversions?

2. any suggestions on how to convert into a pdf file?

Thank you!!

I changed the size of page 11 x 17 in excel and managed to save as pdf in less than 30 minutes.  It brought the number of page down to about 15 or 16 000.

  • Word of the file size: .docx converted in PDF format

    Hello

I use Adobe acrobat X pro and I need to convert a Word to PDF file to join with all do us commercial offers. The file size is important in order to limit the size of the mailbox content. At the moment my Word file is 25 and it's ok, but when I convert it the result is a 120 KB PDF... I did some research in the Acrobat community and they often explain to use "Save as other", but I do not have these (maybe it came with version XI).

I would like to know if anyone has an idea of what I can do with my version of acrobat to reduce the size of the file.

    Thank you

    Ben

PDF Optimization is not available in Std AFAIK. However, you asked on the conversion of a WORD file. The best way to keep the size down is to NOT use save them in Adobe PDF format. Who's using PDF Maker (the Acrobat in WORD menu) which adds tags and many other things that inflate a default PDF. If you do not use this option, then use preferences to disable the tags and other elements in the file (like all bookmarks and all the rest). The easiest way is to print to the Adobe PDF printer. Don't forget to keep your simple fonts. It is better to embed fonts when you send a PDF file to others (especially from PC to MAC Linux as the fonts on the system may be different). Don't use only not the smaller file size settings. Use Std as a minimum or press options or Print embed all the fonts as subsets. The MST is fine as long as people use Acrobat or Reader for viewing, but other viewers may not recognize the basic fonts Adobe.

  • Remove file path when converting to PDF format?

Is there a setting somewhere that I can change so that when I convert a TXT or HTML file to PDF path does not appear on the bottom of each PDF page? Currently the conversion I get something along these lines of file:///F|/Folder/254126.txt[06-Aug-11 20:34:02] on the bottom in a font smaller than the rest of the page.

Is it possible to disable this or is just something I have to live with?

I use Adobe Acrobat X Pro.

Parameters for the conversion of the HTML and text pages are not in the preferences panel, they are buried in the web capture widget:

Open the tool pane > Pages > more Insert Options > create PDF from Web Page.

    Click on "settings".

Uncheck "headers to Place... ", click OK and then cancel to close the capture dialog box.

  • CAD drawings can be flattened when converted to PDF format - OR - software free Adobe can flatten a PDF file?

I get CAD drawings converted to PDF format on a regular basis to clients using various CAD software systems.  Almost always, the PDF retains the layers created in the CAD document.  Preserving layers significantly slows down the loading time of the PDF and increases the file size as well in my opinion.  If the layers are not selectable or in a list, I can see load a (ie. topo, plans floor, title, block, etc.) on each page of the PDF file.  Does anyone know how to remove the overlay effect?  I heard the PDF file must be "crushed" or perhaps the CAD software is export to PDF there is a parameter that would flatten the layers.  However, I have not the possibility on my PDF software to flatten, and my architects/clients use different CAD software systems, so I don't know how to educate to flatten documents.

    Hi Katie,

You can flatten the pdf using Acrobat, here's how: choose Tools > print > Overview of flattening.

But basically when you save the file, you can select the format.  In the drop down next to Format: select JPEG or any other file format you want.

To set this as a default use the Edit option in presets to create a new or edit and existing preset.

    • saves only the headers/footers.
    • If I select all; It saves only the pages displayed on the screen

How can I convert an entire PDF to word or excel?

    • Automatic scrolling, it is on and which unfortunately makes no difference.
    • There are too many pages to put them on 10% and view them on a single screen

    Please help

Something new.  He said that the document has insufficient permission for this operation.

Edit: Because allows me not, I downloaded some random PDF with user and lists of college textbooks, and they saved just fine.  I guess the PDF file that is created in our reports is the problem

It is a report that is generated by our donor management system, so nothing I can even make to have it fixed.

  • Webpage to convert to pdf format no longer works

I have win7 / office 2010 / IE 8 / acrobat 9.0 pro.  Previously on win xp / office 2010 / acrobat standard / IE 7 - I used to be able to right the mouse and in the drop-down menu "convert to PDF", while on a web page or a Sharepoint page, and links to the documents would remain active.   But he lost this ability when we went from win xp to win 7.  I just upgraded from standard to pro thinking that might solve the problem, but it didn't.  I have read several other discussions but the pro version is higher than mine, or IE is higher.  I can't make IE 8 to IE 9 as our internal programs do not yet support this.  From what I can see, I did no Add-ons, but do not know what to add anyway.  I also tried the Internet options / advanced / navigation / enable third-party browser extensions, but I don't have permissions to turn on.  Please tell us how can I do 'convert pdf' operational again.

I'm guessing that you have not updated 9 AA and are probably running on a 64-bit computer. If you plan things to work, you will need to do updates. But even in this case, you might have problems. With OFFICE 2010, you will not be able to use the PDF Maker from AA 9. For PDF Maker works, you should be better. It is perhaps true for the version of IE, you use also. You probably need to either open the URL in Acrobat or open the browser and print.

  • IBR not converted in pdf format

    Hello

I have installation IBR according to the installation guide. The BOVINE infectious rhinotraecheitis creates thumbnails, but none of the pdf versions.

Don't - does anyone know what can be the problem. I saw in the newspaper that content is coming for the BOVINE infectious rhinotraecheitis and that the IBR is their return.

    My installation is UCM 11 g (11.1.1.5.0)

    1. check if you checked PDFExportConverter in the component of the RIB Manager
    2. check if you have checked convert to PDF using PDF Export in rendering Web viewable primary IBR - Conversion settings.

  • Numbering of the pages of an Excel file

I would use a list from a CSV excel paging file.

For example, instead of having the pages numbered 1,2,3,4,5,6... I want that they should be labeled one, two, three, four, five, six...

I tried to use a fusion of data from the master page, but it does not work when I already have pages in the document.  For each page, gives several pages. If I have 100 numbers in my list of page number - one percent - 100 pages are produce for each page of the document producing hundreds or thousands of "spreads".

In short I have no idea what I'm doing, HELP.

My apologies for not being clearer about the document from the master pages earlier.

Dungeon options are a level paragraph attribute, and you can find them in the paragraph Style definition dialog. Make a unique style to the numbering, and just inclede that prevent option, as well as any other desired formatting. You can place them the cursor in the empty frame on the master page and apply the style (but do not type anything; and the cursor moves to the beginning of the first image in the thread, no matter where you click) or create an object style that includes your paragraph style and apply it to managers.

Symbols on both sides is a bit tricky. You can put them in frames separated from the numbers, but then you will have problems of spacing varies the length of your numbers. A better option would be to use find/replace after placing the numbers.

I would try to put the symbol in the Clipboard (not sure if this works, but I think it will) then do a GREP to find change for ^. + $ (who says find everything from the beginning at the end of a paragraph). Replace by ^ c $0 ^ c which is formatted the contents of the Clipboard, the SPACEBAR space regular (you can change this to something else, or leave it out, if you wish), the text found (in other words you put what is already there), another space and once again, the Clipboard. Limit research to the history of numbers, or add formatting to find the syle. You don't want to do this for nothing, but the numbers.
