PAL to NTSC subtitles?

I did a PAL movie and have a subtitle file.

All submarines online.

Now, I did a version of the same film NTSC.

Subtitles, point code entry time will be different I guess.

Is there a PAL to NTSC subtitles timecode converter out there?

PAL is non - drop time code, no?

  • Yet CS5/6 is able to switch between PAL and NTSC as types of projects?

I am quite aware of the need to use video media encoded differently and background menu for projects PAL and NTSC and already coded files PAL and NTSC.  However, what has not to change between the two projects are many menus, custom routing button and all Dolby AC3 audio files for 7 languages that are already in my NTSC Encore 5 project.  What I want to know is: is there a way to pass again from NTSC to PAL in an existing project file?  I tried the switch "TV standard" under "project settings" but it is always grey, even on more new projects with no media.  I fiddled with the words 'NTSC' and 'PAL' in the file ProjectMedia.acx to see if that would help, but he does not have much visible effect.  I just need to know if this is impossible, especially in the new CS6 again?  I'd rather not re - build a new project with all the same, but my media files and menu backgrounds, but need to know if I have to.

    Thank you

You will need to create a new PAL project.

    Yes, Adobe can handle this

But it won't be pretty.  Adobe has no tools that can do 25-30 good conversion.

  • Same project in PAL and NTSC

I have a PAL camera and a video project that I need to send to the people here and in the United States. I see the opportunity to make a NTSC project when I start first in first, but it doesn't seem to be an option in the menu 'Edit' that leads to be able to keep all my work and make a version of NTSC and PAL version. Can I do this?

Obviously, I am very new to all this. Is it possible to make a NTSC project with a PAL camera?

    Thank you!

It's a reminder, but may have ideas on a project of "two countries".

  • M2T PAL and NTSC MXF editing/conversion

    Hello

I'm working on a project that will involve files AVI M2T PAL shot on a Sony Z7 at 25 fps. I will also be in images that are DVCPROHD MXF NTSC (most likely to be shot at 24 frames per second or 29.97) between a Panasonic HVX-200.

My final product shall be NSTC at 24 fps or 29.97.

What is the best (most efficient, quality) to work with both types of formats?

If I convert them to an intermediate codec (in FCP you converting to Pro Res), one would you recommend for Premiere Pro?

I know that you can generally work with different video formats on a timeline in first, but maybe it's too extreme (the difference in FPS)? And I prefer not not slowing my workflow when editing (and without having to make more frequently).

    Thank you.

I'm working on a project that will involve files AVI M2T PAL shot on a Sony Z7 at 25 fps.

Who is: AVI or M2T? I assume you mean HDV M2T, but just check...

What is the best (most efficient, quality) to work with both types of formats?

Change them as they are. They will not get better than they are already, then you will unnecessarily wasting time, space and quality converting them. Simply choose the timebase/frame rate that makes the most sense; It does not appear that you have installed on what will be one of your sources, or your output, so you can weigh in the equation once you have sorted.

If I convert them to an intermediate codec (in FCP you converting to Pro Res), one would you recommend for Premiere Pro?

    None; See above.

I know that you can generally work with different video formats on a timeline in first, but maybe it's too extreme (the difference in FPS)? And I prefer not not slowing my workflow when editing (and without having to make more frequently).

Nope; It is not the case. In Premiere Pro, drop a video with a cadence in a sequence with a different cadence is pretty trivial from a calculation perspective - it simply reads the file to its rate of source. When comes the time for export, these differences must be corrected, but this is not a big deal either. There is only so much you can do in your case - you're working with the video of two separate video systems that don't have a common factor when it comes to frame rates. As a general rule, it is best to go to a higher to a lower one cadence - Premiere Pro will simply stamp/interpolate frameworks to meet the higher rate, while that will be to go to a lower rate throw frames.

And with a decent computer, you probably return - at least if everything you're talking about is changing. When you start a fall effects - particularly not accelerated - in your sequence, then rendering effects can become a problem. But with two video formats you listed, any system built in recent history (in computer terms) will manage the easily.

I am in England so I guess that affecting project presets PAL would be OK, but when I installed pre 9 I might have forgotten this, I don't know, but it may be set to NTSC, when I create a new project and change the settings from NTSC to PAL and then within the project drag one of my clips to work with her , I get a warning saying; "mismatched project settings preset" format of the clips you add do not match the project settings. For best results, you should use a project preset that matches your clips you want to change the project settings to match your clips? "When I click Yes, it will automatically select the NTSC, and there seems to be no problem with that... So how is it important that it is set to PAL, if I'm the based in the United Kingdom? Or is there a chance that happens because I was not set up as a PAL when I installed before?

    Hope that makes sense...

Your camcorder shoot in 30i fps. So, Yes, I would recommend that use you the Full HD NTSC 1920 x 1080, what AVCHD preset with stereo audio. You can also change the suffix on the video of .mp4 to .m2t. I would ignore all the warnings project Mismatch.

Although I would recommend that you only shoot in Full HD 1920 x 1080 mode. (The camcorder shoots in a number of formats and quality levels).

Ideally, this video will appear on your timeline with NO red line above the clamps until you add effects or transitions. This indicates a perfect match between the video source and the project settings.

However, he is unable to go. These camcorders are not for video production in a universally editable format. Even the manufacturers sell like cameras shoot-and-download-to-YouTube. For your more wise to move may be to limit your editing to the software that comes with the camcorder.

  • PAL to NTSC

Hello. I need to convert a PAL of Avid mov file exported a mov or a type of file that jives with Premiere Pro CS6.

Can I do with Media Encoder? Thank you

Hello. I need to convert a PAL mov file exported from Avid...

    The codec is currently AVdn.

    'AVdn '.

This can be a name that is truncated to the Avid DNxHD codec.

Here's where you can download (free) Avid codecs:

    Download avid Codecs 2.3.7

Once installed, you will be able to import any Avid codec file

directly in the first without transcoding.

  • NTSC to PAL

I have a HP Media Center M1280N PC model that I bought in the United States a few years ago. There a video NTSC Connexant card, well then! Now, I would like to use composite video PAL... Is it possible to obtain and install a video card PAL version? This type of media center was sold in Europe, shortly after I got mine, so I guess they work in PAL.

Yes, it is possible to change the card.

Here is an example of a map that you can insert into your motherboard PCI slot after you remove your current card.

This model has an OEM/Integrator to support Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 and is ideal for your system.

Another option would be, if you are not too keen on the withdrawal of your current card or open the case of the Tower, for the purchase of this external converter NTSC PAL.

    It is an online converter.

  • Trying to export audio stems PAL since an NTSC timeline...

    Hello

I have a documentary that must be delivered. Got the NTSC and PAL exports don't do, no problem. The question I have is of course the audio stems. If I just export them as .wav files, will it create different exports for PAL and NTSC? I guess it would be automatically for NTSC because what is the chronology, but how I match PAL would export?

    Thank you!!

    Johnathan

The audio is the same for both.  An export will do.

  • NTSC to PAL, anyone?

    Hello

I'm about to buy the first and I'm excited about it.  I learn, and you will see that my question.

Can someone tell me if the Prime Minister has the ability to output a project NTSC to PAL?  My camera is NTSC.  My client needs a PAL end result.

Or, if this is not possible, this program will do the job, and how is the quality of the result?

    Thank you

    BT

I used to use the compressor for PAL NTSC conversion, since I had a customer requiring a NTSC DVD. While doing that I also discovered that the evil is good right that any DVD player I know is able to play PAL or NTSC, but if you have an older TV that is hard wired PAL and your DVD is NTSC still don't see you this since DVD player emits signals NTSC TV can not decode properly. Today, it is probably very rare, but it happened to me once, although some time previously.

I have not tried Adobe Media Encoder, but next week I will have to create another series of DVD NTSC and - if time permits - try SOUL with this conversion.

  • Cannot create a PAL DVD from NTSC project. Sound is not converted (accelerate), unlike the video.

I have Adobe CS5 Production Premium.

Well, here again, having found no answer elsewhere. A LOT of PAL to NTSC tutorials out there, but I'm not finding what to do about my situation.

I have a project shot on Super8 and scanned in HD 24 fps uncompressed QuickTime is what I have.

So far I can't create a PAL DVD of this project. Video converts, but audio remains the same (it is not given the increase in the speed of 4% to match the video).

I would have thought that Premiere Pro has the ability to convert audio, (accelerate) because it can convert 24 fps to 25 fps PAL.

Please, someone show me how to take my project of 24 fps and create a PAL DVD. I have to finish tonight or I'll miss the deadline of the festival. I was present all day yesterday and into the night.

My other projects Super8 photographed 18fps and I have PAL transfers, whereas they were not so diffficult. This one...

I tried to export a DVD MPEG2 with premPro at least ten different ways with no correct results.

Hmm.  This makes me suspicious.  There is really only one good way.  Use the preset "PAL progressive screen wide high quality."  Who will export on a compatible .m2v PAL with a .wav for audio that is synchronized.
