Patch to apply to the products of JL/JG

Hello

OS RHEL 5.5
Database: 11.1.0.7
Applications: R12.1.3

Please suggest how to check we use product JL/JG in Oracle apps as there is a patch 12668756 to be implemented for claims is a sine qua non patch 12575584 : R12. JL. B: PORT FORWARD OF 9952202 BUG IN R12.

Sine qua non is JL/JG only according to the patch readme

Instructions for the application of the hotfix
-----------------------------------

(1) the products concerned
JL/JG

My doubt is whether or not we use these products.

How to check that we use these products and the patch applies for our CA.
Please do the needful.

Rgrds,

Shubha,

We have these installed products, but do not know whether we use them or not.
Please provide profile options to check products in use and the patch can be applied.

R12. JG. B.3 I
R12.JA. B.3 I
R12. JL. B.3 I

Rgrds,
Shubha

Run the query in [351900.1 ID] (which is referenced by EBSDBA above) under the objective section and it should tell you whether or not these products/modules are installed, and what level of patches, you're on.

Thank you
Hussein

  • Patch applied in the edition of the race

    Hi all

    RHEL 6.5

    I apply a patch,

Edition of the race, I run:

    adoption phase = prepare

    adoption phase = apply patches = 21027021 patchtop = / u01/PATCH

But forgot to source the edition env patch, so I performed on the edition of execution

Which goes to happen to my body? The patch went successful.

I'm confused how the only patch command to handle this?

If I run a single patch command as:

adoption phase = prepare, apply, finalize, commissioning, clean jobs = 12345, 65789

What edition of file will I run it?

    Kind regards

About the ADSPLICE, it will create only required directories not all.

Once you Splice, it will be like another product, and if you follow a proper correction cycle, it syncs files between filesystems run and patch.

If you feel that something is missing, you have always adop_sync.drv

  • a patch which apply OEM 12 c 12.1.0.4 - patch of PSU or of the boot

    Hi all

Could you please help me understand - patch which apply in 12 c 12.1.0.4 OEM - PSU or Budle patch ?  By doc - id -

which of the below mentioned patch to be applied in the OMS?

1 > system Patch 12.1 .0.4.10 - Patch 20675595 (It is a fix Sytem that includes all the WHO-side plugin Bundles available this month and the SGC-side Plug-ins, published in previous months).

    or

    2 > for 12.1.0.4, this is the Patch: https://support.oracle.com/epmos/faces/BugDisplay?parent=DOCUMENT & sourceId = 1900943.1 & id = 20392036https://updates.oracle.com/ARULink/PatchDetails/process_form?parent=DOCUMENT & sourceId = 1900943.1 & aru = 20392036 & patch_password = & no_header = 020392036 (12.1.0.4.3 power supply).  Please refer to the Note. 1995267.1 . for the last available for Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud patches PSU controls 12 c Release 4 (12.1.0.4).

We recently upagraded our 12.1.0.2 in 12.1.0.4 OEM with software using update option during the upgrade, so none of the PSU are applied to the OEM. Now, we want to apply the latest patches to OEM that fixes all the bugs and bugs/titles.

I thought that BP will include both PSU, but why say DOC - id - 1900943.1 - NOTE: we recommend that you always apply the most recent quarterly PSU.  For 12.1.0.4, this is the Patch: https://support.oracle.com/epmos/faces/BugDisplay?parent=DOCUMENT & sourceId = 1900943.1 & id = 20392036https://updates.oracle.com/ARULink/PatchDetails/process_form?parent=DOCUMENT & sourceId = 1900943.1 & aru = 20392036 & patch_password = & no_header = 020392036 (12.1.0.4.3 power supply).  Please refer to the Note. 1995267.1 . for the last available for Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud patches PSU controls 12 c Release 4 (12.1.0.4). ??

    Help, please.

Yes, they are mutually exclusive so you must apply the PSU & the patch Bundle/Plugin system to get the complete set of SGD fixed side.

  • Best method to remove applied archive logs for the production and the DB in waiting

    Dear all,

Two of my databases are 10gr 2 on Linux OS.

I have set up a database of pending for my production database. Logs apply and the size of the data file for the two databases is the same, if I compare.

I'm just confused about which method to use to remove applied log archiving of files from the production and standby databases.

the .dbf files are being moved from production to standby mode. I want to do it manually first and then automate for better understanding. I want to just make sure that the .dbf files can be deleted only used effect the process of production-standby.

For the removal of the archvies in production, better to use RMAN backup scripts,.

for the deletion archives pending check my comments thread below.

Deleting archives connects in standby mode

Be sure to what ever format archives, keep files archives other than data file locations. If you want you can delete production is there really no need backup archives on the primary?

  • IS CUMULATIVE ATG 7 + PATCH SET 19 (FORMS) ONLY APPLY TO THE WEB LAYER

    Hello world

We intend to apply the ADI 7 + Patch set 19 and everything works fine. But my question, we have three levels of Apps (WEB, Con, Form, Report), WEB, DB
We applied on the layer Apps but there is a node have only the web layer and ADI 7 and patch set 19 for forms, there is no relationship with Web layer.

in this case is it should be applied on this node also as we know Oracle "you apply patches that you apply it to the first node to the second node.

    What do you think?

    Best regards

    DB Apps(WEB,Con,Form,Report) three-tier, WEB,.

You must apply the patch on each node when APPL_TOP and 8.0.6 $ORACLE_HOME are presented.

Thus, according to the foregoing, you will have to do on nodes 1 and 2.

    Thank you
    Hussein
