Patches applied to EBS
An audit of our production EBS environment, please make sure that all of the patches and updates applied to the EBS environment are subject to a process of managed change control. To check out what I wanted to get a list of the most recently applied patches and upgrades and tie it to change control records in our IT management service application. Is there anyway to see a history of all applied patches/updates to level, and the dates that they were applied to the system? If so, how could it be done, is there a SQL query that may list a story?
Please find below the query, if it helps:
Select distinct aap.patch_name, apr.patch_top, aat.name, aap.patch_type, aap.creation_date, fav. Application_name, APD.patch_abstract
of ad_patch_runs Apr.
ad_patch_drivers ODA,
ad_applied_patches AAP,
ad_patch_run_bugs decision,
AAT ad_appl_tops,
fnd_application_vl fav
where apr.appl_top_id = aat.appl_top_id
and apr.patch_driver_id = apd.patch_driver_id
and apr.patch_run_id = aprb.patch_run_id
and apd.applied_patch_id = aap.applied_patch_id
and UPPER (aprb.application_short_name) = fav.application_short_name
and aprb.applied_flag = 'Y '.
and aap.creation_date > to_date('01-JAN-2015','DD-MM-YYYY')--date of creating change as required
aap.creation_date desc order

How to find the list of the patches applied without using the inventory?
Hello
I asked this question once.
How you will find the list of the patches applied to the House of Oracle database without using commands like opatch lsinventory - detal etc...
I think that registry$ story is a view from where you can find the list of the applied patches.
But I think that he understands all the bug fixes, stand alone or one-off patches. It will mainly list on the CPU patches applied (correct me if I'm wrong).
Thank you

Patch applied in the edition of the race
Hi all
EBS R12.2.4
11 GR 2
RHEL 6.5
I apply a patch,
Edition of the race, I run:
adoption phase = prepare
adoption phase = apply patches = 21027021 patchtop = / u01/PATCH
But forgot to source the edition env patch, so I performed on the edition of execution
Which goes to happen to my body? The patch went successful.
I'm confused how the only patch command to handle this?
If I run a single patch command as:
Kind regards
About the ADSPLICE, it will create only required directories not all.
Once you Splice, it will be like another product, and if you follow a proper correction cycle, it syncs files between filesystems run and patch.
If you feel that something is missing, you have always adop_sync.drv

Hi all
EBS R12.2.4
11 GR 2
OL6.5
I have this instruction to apply the patch.
No simulation
- Ensure that you have made a backup of your system before you apply the fix recommended.
- Apply the hotfix in a test environment.
Why do I need to backup when I will apply it firstly the patch editing system?
I thought that it is the purpose of this new feature of R12.2 so I don't have many hassles of the closure and the backup of the instance
Kind regards
JC
A backup does not necessarily take the system down.
You can save the application during its execution layer. It ignores some open log files but has no significant impact.
The most important part, the database can be saved with RMAN. No downtime is needed. This is the case for many years.
Kind regards
Bashar

Patch Wizard in ebs 12.1.3 report

I use ebs 12.1.3 in oul5x64. Using wizard patch to run the scan on a patch and I could go in OAM
to check for the study of Impact of Patch Patch... Everything works like it suppose to.
Issues related to the:
I can see the "Patch Impact Analysis for Patch" to OAM, but how can I print. I could not
find the characteristic footprint no matter where or how to use sqlplus to print the result.
Grateful if someone can advise or provide Oracle notes for that matter.
Thanks in advance.

Problem with 11.1.2.2.104 patch applies
HelloWe use essbase 11.1.2.2 on windows server 2008 R2. Now, apply 11.1.2.2.104 patch server. We followed under process:
1 stop essbase services
2. go to the Opatch directory in command prompt
3 Ran below command:
opatch.bat apply C:/Hyperion/Middleware/EPMSystem11R1/Opatch/17277740-oh C:/Hyperion/Middleware/EPMSystem11R1 - jre C:, Hyperion, Middleware, jdk160_29
But we got error like:
The Oracle Home path specified is relative path.
Opatch cannot operate with relative oracle home path, please specify the absolute path.
Opatch failed with the error code 1
You have no idea why it failed?
While installation, the name of essbase kept home directory as C:/Hyperion/Middleware. What is the question?
Concerning
SB
Try putting slashes the correct way for windows if:
apply opatch.bat C:\Hyperion\Middleware\EPMSystem11R1\Opatch\17277740-oh C:\Hyperion\Middleware\EPMSystem11R1 - jre C:\Hyperion\Middleware\jdk160_29
