• InDesign CS4 PDF production problems

  I have BIG InDesign CS4 PDF production problems.  PDF files high resolution I do in InDesign CS4 cut parts of logos .ai or display the whole logo when I see, but endangered for other printers or designers send art, too.  This problem started in the last month or so.  Help, please!

  White overprint in Illustrator is usually the result of having changed the color at a given time. If the previous color has been set for a recovery, Illy is is apparently not smart enough to know that white should not.

• RH7: PDF Generation of the project without going through Word

  All,
  I have a user who is try the trial of RoboHelp 7 and wants to know when to generate PDF output, is there a way to bypass the creation of a Word document and go straight to the PDF document. Word is still used this way to get a printed Documentation doesn't matter if a PDF file is made or not?

  Thanks for all your suggestions and comments. The HR user is dead set against using Word to generate the PDF file. In other research, we found RH7 and Flare to use Word as an intermediary in the generation of the PDF file. However, importing files FrameMaker in RH7 briefly gave us hope that the problem has been resolved by issuing to FrameMaker and PDF format. Much to our surprise, we found the RH7 can import FrameMaker files but cannot export to FrameMaker files.

  The user is in a different business unit and does not use HR. Since the release of FrameMaker is important to them, RH7, don't meet their needs.

• Truncation of PDF generation

  Generation of PDF via iBots produced only the first 8 pages. Last 4 pages are missing. In the end, it says 'sheets 1-250'. This problem is not there when I generate pdf responses directly. Clues as to where I should be looking?

  I suspect that the tag in the instanceconfig.xml came back, or has the value 250. Please see the MOS 530222.1 Note for more information on how to change the value.

  When I paste a JPEG or PDF in Photoshop, not all the time, but about half the time, appears a giant icon JPEG or CEO - not the image itself.

  When I want to use one in Photoshop I cut and paste in it. Is this the right way and if so why?

  Because only in this way not just copy you the contents of the pixel (profile) but the file.

  Ideally, one should open the image (in Photoshop itself in this case) and copy pixel content if necessary.

  Implementation could cause interpolation if source image and image containing different resolutions if even that could be useful in avoiding if no transformations are likely to be performed on the image.

  So eager to edit images in a PDF one would be better open the pictures, not to convert the pdf page, to avoid an unnecessary image degradation.

  

  I especially want to solve the problem of pasting a jpg in the mask layer - or another way to use the texture of a jpg in the layer mask.

  How widely you used to edit the layer masks?

  Do you use images full color as basis for masks or individual channels?

• Printing PDF C6150 problems

  I have w7 64 bit and downloaded the driver on the HP website and installed,

  removed and reinstalled 3 times and am still having the problem of it to PDF print

  files. They print 3 times, I changed the number of prints to 2 and then back to

  1 to see if it would help. I posted this once before, but na not valuationauront response

  to it. I contacted HP support on my laptop with my printer issues, they say that it

  is a printer problem, even if it worked well with wxp pro, I ran sfc/scannow

  to see if possible file corrupt, but he did not find a problem with it.

  Hope someone can help to understand what is happening with my pdf reader, is be until this morning, I could see a pdf of the school and this pm the same file, it creates an error to open, however, yesterday I bought the service to convert PDF to WORD or EXCEl files and it works fine the same pdf file that gives me problems to open can be converted to WORD and I see the file again, but open as pdf do not work. apparently seems to be few files that does this all of a sudden. Any ideas how to solve this problem?

  Please let me know the version of point exact of the reader & operating system installed on your computer?

  If you are using windows OS, open Reader, go to the Help menu and repair the installation.

• Adobe Professional 8 - the adobe pdf printer problem

  Running windows 7 64-bit enterprise edition and have installed adobe 8 Professional. When I have fx. to print a file "adobe pdf" printer the most recent work is completed. It's just stay in Quebec of the printer and nothing happends.

  Tried to remove the Reader Adobe XI, who has been installed, if there could be conflict, but did not help. I also tried with a repair of the prof. together adobe package, but still the same problem.

  If I look on the adobe pdf printer and watch on which port it is the impression of standing as LPT1? -is correct. There is not any other port of pdf from adobe available if I want to create a.

• InDesign CS6 crashing when exporting to PDF (not problem of fonts)

  I tried to export my PDF with all the different types of settings. It is only an 8-page document. It has about 15 jpg low resolution in it. I used a font Adobe stock. There are several hyperlinks in the file, but for most it is just text. I have no idea how to solve this problem. And of course, I need it to work tomorrow. I get a message saying error it is the overlay text on 3 of 8 pages, but I don't think it's something that could cause this problem. Any ideas? Thank you!

• Illustrator cs6 + MS Word to pdf + links problem

  BACKGROUND:

  I have a TABLE I have inserted into my ILLUSTRATIOR file.

  No matter what method I use is a failure because the text is available but NOT the table.

  Instead, I just that: MSWORD > Print PDF > in Illustrator > Place PDF.

  PROBLEM:

  But when I want to make CHANGES to THE PDF format (changes in MS WORD DOC - reprint in PDF format).  The PDF file does NOT appear in the BINDINGS box.

  Therefore, I can't update.  I'm always having to re - insert the PDF file - INSTEAD of like other PSD files, or. JPG, or anything that is being updated.

  QUESTION:

  WHY IS THE PDF FILE not like OTHER files that comes from spending time and can be updated in the LINKS box?

• Folio PDF overlay problems

  I learned recently about image sequences of one-image regarding keep it sharp images using HD & SD assets. Large.

  But all using items PDF to set it up I seemed to be having problems with pieces of my layout goes away when I saw it on my iPad.

  My folio is a single folio but multi-rendu to fit very well on both SD & HD iPads.

  Here is the page layout in InDesign. The background (image) is a superposition of a sequence of images with a single image but related to SD & HD active. The text is an ASM that autoplays via slideshow from transparent to opaque and indicators at the top are normal objects.

  

  But look at what is happening on the iPad:

  Image HD shows upward. The slideshow of the text plays fine. But the black boxes at the top disappears.

  Is there a solution to this? I worked on it for two days and really he leads me into the wall!

  They call them overlays for a reason. You can't put static content above an overlay.

  Convert them to MSS to play once automatically.

  If you are using Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) or 10.7 (Lion), Adobe PDF is replaced.

• Interactive PDF button problem

  I created an interactive pdf to InDesign CS5.5. I added buttons on the pages of navigation through the pages of the pdf file. The pdf file has worked flawlessly until someone tried to open the pdf file in Acrobat 6.0; all of type (fonts) on the buttons have become jumbled, as if the police were missing, but the fonts are embedded in the pdf file.

  I need this pdf file to work correctly in all versions of Acrobat and Acrobat Reader, as many customers view the pdf and I don't have any control over what version they demand.

  I thought that I could solve this problem by simply creating outlines on the policies. This has not fixed the problem, it's actually worse. When I did the new interactive pdf, after creating the contours on the buttons, the text on the buttons is no longer visible, he disappeared.
