• Is it better to create a form for the 25 different forms?

  We have a Telco Application (in the form of 10g) which has about 200 forms that are called from the main menu. Off than 200 forms on * 25 * are forms of type 'upload file' (see below).

  As you can see, it's small size. The feature is:
  *(a.) Select a text file (which includes tabular data) of the client computer.
  When the file is selected, it is also copied to a directory on the DB server machine. The file name displays the full path of the file in the client computer.
  * (b) * when the user press the load button, form calls a stored procedure that is packed. We create an EXTERNAL table mapped to the file in the directory db and read the contents of a temporary table in the comic book.
  * (c) * when the user press the Process button, the temporary table is read and our Telco tables are updated using these data.
  * (d) * you can view the records of error and the correct records discovered during treatment, with the option to view the file . This will display 2 Oracle reports.
  * (e) * you can delete the contents of the temporary table by using the option delete temporary .
  
  This story goes like this: our application is in the form of 10g. Now, we want to update this application Forms 11 g value. We met one of the problems was the FileUploader bean that we use in the forms above. This does not work in 11g. Solution has been found using WebUtil. Now, we must change all the 25 forms (obviously).
  
  
  Now here's the really important part: our managers feel that in the future also we may have to move to these 25 forms (due to problems/upgrades future with WebUtil and so on) and they want us to create a form for 25 forms. For example, in a form.
  
  (a.) we have a list box at the top where chooses to uses which upload function he wants.
  (b.), the file is selected (and then transferred to the DB directory).
  (c.) now when users click on the load button to execute the charge process packed for the selected workload file option.
  (d) when he pressed the Process button we need to run the program for the selected file download function unit.
  (e) when the user presses the button view the file, it should display the correct records and invalid records (found after treatment) 2 speed. The reports differ from a function to a function.
  (f) it can delete the records in the temporary table by using the Delete Temp button.
  
  Is it good idea? My first study tells me that it isn't a good idea since we have a form with too many features. What are the advantages and disadvantages of this approach and what is the best solution?

  The code is not DUPLICATED. The code to load and process is completely different from form to form.

  Looks like the old method of copy-paste-adapt.
  But it surely is something all forms have in common, no? Even if the code is not duplicated the process is (select the file, download it, treat it, call a report, delete temporary data). Look at what needs to be done in general, create an API on that and let your forms to use this API. Ways to form stuff can be done via the user triggers, procedures referenced/copied, etc.. If I were you I would go back, look at the code and see how I can do an API.

• Iterator for the table and form is a problem during the cleaning of the records

  I use JDev 12.1.2.

  I have an object of the detail view. I represent a part of its fields in a table and the rest in a form. I use the same iterator. Basically, I dragged and dropped the object even from the view of the data control and created a table and form layout with the fields I wanted in each provision. I put in place a clear feature for the rows in the table with a clear"" key. -on click I delete the line of the iterator in the managed bean. When I do this the selected record is deleted and the next record is displayed. But fields entered in the form layout also gets deleted. (the form should also be showing the record currently selected - it shows but entrable fields in the form are deleted because of claire that I did on the previous line.) If anyone can help get this resolved?

  Not use the same iterator for the tables and forms here? The links are in the row (row.bindings...) for the table, but for the form it is (links...). The Delete on the current row operation is causing the iterator delete all fields of links instead of from the line? Please shed some light.

  With a staff of creative cloud you will not be able to install Lightroom 6/CC on this computer, because it is not compatible on 32-bit systems. See the system requirements for Photoshop Lightroom for Mac OS and Windows

  Not exactly. I am caring for another dev and they created Web forms for use in offline payment gateway, but then they chose to use a custom and does not have the document.

  The solution was to modify the submission form directly rather than assume the form designated WSIWYG was the module used (it was not).

  I appreciate the help, but it ends up being the lack of documentation on the part of the dev and not an interface problem.

• Treatment in the form of conditional

  I have a form to capture some general information to the contact, and I have inserted a hidden field (I called size) and gave him a static value of 0. The purpose of this is to filter spam as a bot will try to fill in this field. In the steps of treatment, I added a Post of conditional data at server stage which would only update contact information if size is 0, but I also added as an extra step if the size is not equal to 0, so do not update a contact record, and push the user to a page that indicates that they have not completed the redirect to a webpage (the default Validation result) in the form correctly. Accordingly, I have two treatment steps called redirect Web site - which is subordinate.

  Hi Richard,

  You can apply it to all of the existing measures. Click on the processing step, select under certain conditions, (it will open a window), select the form field, select your field size Show, double click, it will open a condition for putting the value in, double-click on the condition, not select exactly and enter 0.

  An iPod touch is essentially an "iPad with 4 inch screen", and it is a laptop with Wi - Fi Internet access, so it may not serve your purpose to limit the access of the computer, if he uses other computers (including an iPad at some point).  But it can be a 'recommended' device now for later using an iPad for school work.

  An iPod shuffle is convenient as a simple music player, but it's tiny (easily lost?) and may be difficult to use for a young child, because there is no screen.

  The current nano iPod is a good choice as a Player multimedia pure it's not also a computing device.

• Need for treatment of the base image, but only have Linux

  Hello, I am pretty inexperienced and working on a project in which a device is attached to a moving stage of XY. The goal is for the camera to track toward moving below real-time, then follow them. To do this, I need a very basic image processing. However, I don't know how to order the engines for the X - Y stage without a tool only Linux, so I use Linux LabVIEW, which apparently does not support the NI Vision or MATLAB script nodes. I need to make a basic image processing (described below) very quickly, using the images I capture in LabVIEW. I know that Python, Java, MATLAB and c a little. Now all I can think is to make a C library that makes the treatment (despite my relative inexperience), then calling it a LabVIEW. That would be good because LabVIEW can pass the image of C by reference, while I do not know how to interface with MATLAB or Python without, say, a TCP connection, which would not be able to use pass by reference (I think?) Are there other ways to achieve this? Perhaps a clever way to interface with MATLAB, or is there a way to get the Vision in LabVIEW for Linux? Most importantly, it's just to find the center of mass of the very black worm, so it should be easy: simply restrict the image of a region of interest, threshold, choose the largest connected blob and calculate the center of mass. However, I might later want also to seek points of calibration on the image; I think it would be easier to just pull long, straight lines, under the camera, then detect those somehow. • How to add SSD for Optiplex 755 (Small Form Factor)

  Hi-

  I want to add a SSD for my Optiplex 755 (Small Form Factor) boot drive while maintaining the HARD disk it came with and the player optical slimline. There is a SATA port on the motherboard, but there is no open Bay and not a lot of room in the chassis (I do not see a power open cable).

  Anyone know how or if I can add a SSD to 2.5 inches to this machine? Would need a power splitter? And it's even bothered to improve an Optiplex 755-10 Windows?

  Adding a drive in the optical Bay is possible.  But you cannot run without the original hard disk on the desktop SFF and ULTRA-COMPACT models.

  You will get an error message on the thermal characteristics of the drive.
