Problem of agent deployment:

I recently installed a cluster of cars of two nodes running on RedHat 5.5 64-bit with Oracle V11.2.0.2. When I tried to perform a V11.1 OEM Grid control agent deployment, I had a breakdown. This OEM grid control system was used to deploy other agents but systems RedHat 32-bit with no problems. However, none of the system have been in a rac cluster. After looking at the logs, I found the following in the installation log in the oraInventory/logs directory:
the server identified as fpkrmanser1 is the h/s where the grid control OEM is installed

INFO: Setting the ' SourceLocation (FROM_LOCATION)' to 'https://fpkrmnser1.lac1.biz:4900/agent_download/11.1.0.1.0/linux_x64/agent/stage/products.xml '. Has received the value of the command line.

INFO: ERROR: YES - 10117:File not found https://fpkrmnser1.lac1.biz:4900/agent_download/11.1.0.1.0/linux_x64/agent/stage/products.xml.

Then I looked at the fpkrmnser system and found that there is a products.xml file but is in the path:

/Oracle/base/product/11.2.0/dbhome_1/SYSMAN/agent_download/11.1.0.1.0/Linux/agent/stage

There is not a directory path of

/Oracle/base/product/11.2.0/dbhome_1/SYSMAN/agent_download/11.1.0.1.0/linux_64/agent/stage

It seems that the grid control knows the fact the o/s is 64-bit, but it is not just a directory linux_64 is currently a linux directory. Is there a plug-in or an action that we must ensure that 64-bit Linux agents can be deployed.

Thank you
Dennis

As you use the GC to deploy your agent, have you downloaded the correct version of the agent (for 64 - bit)?
After having extracted the zipped for Linux 64-bit agent software, the correct path could get created...

  • problem with credentials named during the agent deployment

    Hi gurus.

Yesterday, I have deployed an agent on a host of test server and it worked like a charm.

    Except that...

I used the oratest user under the name of credentials... This meant (I think) that when it came to detect different targets on the host to monitor, OEM could not see that those who belonged to oratest (couldn't see oratest database).

It was not ideal because it is has several databases I want to monitor on this server.

So I uninstalled everything and now trying to deploy an agent once again, using this https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E24628_01/install.121/e22624/install_agent.htm#EMBSC184

However, I am now stuck on the choice of a credential named... which user should I choose for this? I need to create a separate, "oem" user to do all this? I'm not even sure that the choice of the user oratest was a mistake... I'm more than a little confused and would appreciate some advice kindly.

    ALL THE:

I learned that in addition to plugins, make sure (for the discovery of the db) that your Oracle home must be located in the oratab

In addition, if you have sort of a default location for your listener.or according to the $TNS_ADMIN, then it must be placed in your agent owner bash_profile.

  • Problem with VeriStand deployment on cRIO-9074

    Hi all

I'm playing with VeriStand 2010 and my cRIO-9074. I'm just trying to deploy a very simple application of VeriStand on the cRIO, but I can't get VeriStand to connect properly to the cRIO. I get error 63. Would it be a problem that the cRIO is configured using LabVIEW 2009 and I use VeriStand 2010? Glancing at the MAX software on the cRIO contained NOR-RIO 3.4.0 (minimal) that contains time LabVIEW Real 9.0.1.

    Any other ideas?

In the Add/Remove programs for your cRIO in MAX dialog, you will also need to select custom Setup to see the installation component VeriStand engine.

  • Shared variable problem reading after deployment

    Hello

I tried to create an OPC client to communicate with a server KUKA. I have a project with an i/o library configuration server. When I run the project, I can perfectly read/write my variables using the Distributed System Manager. If I put all the variables, I can read the correctly updated value at the server end. However, as soon as I start a VI that contains variables (which deploys them automatically), everything stops working and I can not write them to the VI or the DSM.

I would be very happy if anyone knows how I could handle it.

    Best,

    Glauber

OK, so it seems that the problem was that the request from the client to the server rate was too high. I added a wait on the loop that r/w, the variables and now this works. There is no need to be a single writer, and the autodeploy option can be.

in any case, thanks to those who responded to the message.

  • Problem with the deployment of an application.

Hi, I'm just starting to work on the development of BB and I'm having a problem with deployment/installation of applications on a Storm 2.  When my own app could not load I've compiled some of the demos provided with the JDK and have the same problem with them.

    Cases in the sample:

I have compiled the accelerometer demo (and the bitmap demo) without error, using plug-in in Eclipse.  Then I try to install either software version 6 Desktop application and receive the following error message, "there was an error importing files.  No additional files are located.  "Your file may contain applications that already exist in the list of applications, are not compatible for your device or errors.

I know it compiled without errors, do not know if these demos are compatible with my camera, and I know that they are not already installed.  Also, I change the paths of any file or folder when they were packed oringinal.

I hope it's an easy issue and miss me just something obvious.  Thanks in advance.

  • Problem of JMS deployment plan for updating the JNDI names

Hello everyone, I am working on Oracle SOA 12 c on a 2-node cluster environment. I am facing problem update the JNDI for jms adapter deployment name. I created jms, jms module and Distriubuted queues and manufactures servers connections. When I create jndi say ' ist/xx/jmsqueues' name in the adapter to jms under deployment and update the name of the connection factory against property connection factory in JNDI eis/xx/jmsqueues name.  After that I updated the resource with the location of the plan in respect of the group path. But the problem after activation of the changes the created "eis/xx/jmsqueues' disappearing off the coast, but when I check the information contained in the plan, I see the details of name and jndi connection factories. To make sure of my setup works very well, I do use the jndi name say HIA/ws/queues existing and update the factory connections. After the test, I was able to publish the message to the queue. The only problem I see with new jndi names and for that reason I am not able at all tasks related to the queues. I really appreciate if some light here. Best regards, TJ.

Try the cancellation of the deployment of the JMSAdapter.rar and install it once again from the location below:

    $ORACLE_HOME, soa, soa, connectors

Try to target them to regroup and try to do what you do.

When the JMSAdapter is corrupt or plan is not created correctly, we see this odd behavior. You can try this and check.

    New "6bf38c5b-5aea-4186-9e77-bf1326cfd283," Hi

If all you need to AutoVue for is the conversion of an input format (for example, DGN) in a PNG image format, so yes, it's a case of using the AutoVue Web Services API (more precisely "convert it" Web Service). In this case, you should proceed with the question of GlassFish forums so they can help solve the deployment problem.

However, depending on how you obtained your Silverlight solution implemented, it might be even more efficient/transparent to avoid the conversion completely process and simply stir the applet AutoVue in the interface of your solution. In this case, users would see their files (in whatever format or DGN) directly within the AutoVue applet, and you can customize the user interface of applet according to the needs (in terms of menus/toolbars tools/etc). If this is of interest to you, check out the Guide of AutoVue API at http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E37436_01/otn/pdf/E37455_01.pdf

And to answer your last question - no, there is no way to communicate directly with the server of AutoVue. The AutoVue API and the API of Services Web AutoVue are the two APIs on the client side.

    Thank you

    Hi Wes Gibbs,

You cannot deploy two copies of the same file in the same server... with the same WAR context root...
I see in your "application.xml" file that you try to deploy the same WAR files from a location different from the inside of the EAR file with the same root context.

Module deployments in doubles (with the same file. WAR and Context-root) actually causes the error: * "" caused by: weblogic.descriptor.BeanAlreadyExistsException: bean already exists: * ""

    Thank you

  • problems in the deployment of the apex for tomcat listener

    Hello

I'm looking for a set of (almost infallible) instructions for installation of the auditor of the apex to tomcat.

So far I managed to deploy the listener and tomcat told me that the listener is configured.

I realize I have to copy the images to the directory of tomcat (I cancelled trying to get going again).

Then the images go in tomcat/root/i

I suppose we rename the directory images on i. so what was the root/tomcat/images become i/root/tomcat

I see that the apex war has been deployed.

    Where's the apex_config.xml?
are we supposed to run the sample_capture.sql script?

    When I launch http://localhost: 8080/apex/ListenerConfigure I get message now:

"The listener of the APEX is already configured. Please log on as an administrator to access the listener Administration APEX. »

When I launch http://localhost: 8080/apex/ListenerAdmin I am invited for the user name and password.

If I put in apexAdmin as username and admin as the password, the values are not accepted.
Finally (3rd attempt) I get "this request requires HTTP authentication.

There is a similar problem with ApexStatus.

Finally if I type http://localhost: 8080/apex/I get required url http://localhost: 8080/apex / is not allowed.

Is there a step by step guide to install listener apex under tomcat?

I just posted a new version. That should solve the problem. In tomcat http://localhost/apex/ had a problem where if you don't http://localhost/apex/apex it would work. Basically, the default page worked in tomcat.

  • Problem creating agent ODI

    Hello
I'm trying to create an ODI agent in Windows. I followed the steps in ODI set up the document. He started the server. Now, I am creating as a windows service. But I do not receive an error message.

I ran the followiing from the command line

    < ODI_HOME > \bin\agentservice-i s Sched_Agent 20910

    The error I get is

"FATAL | Wrapper | The argument 'Files\Java\jdk1.5.0_12\bin\java.exe' is not a name pair / valid property value. »

    I have 10.1.3.5.5

My ODI_JAVA_HOME points to C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.5.0_12. What is the issue of the error

    Anyone know why its happening.

At best, I remember that I solve this problem by installing the Jdk in c drive, not in program files and change the ODI_JAVA_HOME the new house without space path.
