  There are some prefs mousewheel, which control the behavior when you press the modifier keys.

• Problem chart/getting updated when you press on the background thread notification dialog box

  I have a user who is graphical reports strange behviour after our request and only under the following condiitions alarms:

  1 sets of users clock back to trigger the alarm

  2 user locked the BB

  3. the user receives alarm 1 minute later

  4. the user unlocks the BB

  The strange behavior is that the background seems to resemble a back buffer bland with a rectangular hole where the notification dialog box should be.  The user clicks then the graphics and where the button should be back to normal.

  The question is not if the user does not lock the BB first - it's only under the condition of deadlock that the problem occurs.  The user statement also sometimes see a dialog "Please wait" when running our application after unlocking, but never when our application is stopped.

  Model is 8310 with 4.5 and approximately 3 MB of free space depending on the situation-> filefree.

  The dialog box is to be generated and added to the queue by a background thread using the following method:

  I checked the problem does not occur on the "BOLD", Pearl Flip, or 8100 with real hardware.  The problem never happens in simulators (tried about 6 models).

  The workaround for the "locked" State is to implement MemoryCleanerListener in your main application class. This listener is notified when the device is locked. We define a property here "deviceWasLocked", then query this property of our custom popup dialog to determine if we arrive on a locked screen.

  Then we switch our application in the foreground (requestForeground) that clears up this particular issue, and any event goes well.

  The problem of 'missed calls' is a little more complicated, unfortunately, but you're not complaining that one!

  Having said all this, I'd love to see other ideas on how to solve this problem. We strugggled for several weeks with this problem when the 4.3 is released.

  The switch was a small part of the TX.  Pressing any other button will turn on the unit, and it will turn off let it expire.

  The issue could rest with the material if it is a keyboard mapping problem. Then, I recommend you to connect an external keyboard with the ultrabook and check. If the external keyboard works fine, then you may need to contact the manufacturer of your system (hp) for the same problem.

  If you get the same problem with the external keyboard, the issue may rest with the keyboard or corrupt drivers.

  What is the code in the trigger of your button When-Button-Pressed (WBP)? Maybe you should check to see if the form is in the Mode query in your WBP rather than try and remove the error? In other words, eliminate error - do not delete it. :)

  If you want instead to remove the error, there is a technique to built-ins call restricted to a trigger that does not allow them. Do this by the use of a millisecond zero Timer. For example:

  Well, it's just standard features of Oracle Forms. If you switch the Mode request form - you must run a query or cancel the query Mode! This is how it works. Your users need to understand that and accept it - just as they accept the functional also for other programs. ;) Another option would be to add a "Cancel request" button to your form and make it so it is enabled only when the form is placed in Query Mode. Just a thought...

  I personally prefer to prevent the occurrence of an error rather than remove the error. :)

  We develop a form in which we have 2 blocks of data. These two data blocks share the relationship of the master / detail. The detail is block a record multi.
  We are auto numbering of an element < line_number > in the block in detail following the steps mentioned in the metalink [33342.1 ID]

  The steps mentioned in the link generate numbers automatically when a new record is created and resequences the line numbers when a record is deleted. It works very well in these two scenarios.
  
  But we have two issues here:
  
  (1) line numbers get come from the same when we press F11 in block detail th. This should not happen in our form. (You must remove the auto numbering mode F11)
  (2) if move us to a new record in the block of retail, the line number to be generated there but if go back us to the previous record without enter anything in the new record, that the new record does not disappear. He remained there.
  
  Please let us know how the above two questions can be resolved

  Hello.

  From what I've seen on metalink note, it is the expected behavior. The first problem is so simply to resolve, simply call: SYSTEM. Function MODE and if its result is ENTER-QUERY then do nothing are (do not call the routine renumbering). Regarding the second issue, there is a simple solution if your business logic can accept it. You could make one child block required. This way a user could not walk away from this record without deleting everything first. If this solution is not applicable to you, then you will need to manually program for this situation logic.

  What should I do to be able to search using this LOV?

  Is your button in another area of block and data in a different block? If this is the case, moving the button to the data block will solve the problem.

  The process Assistant APEX (ARF, ARP etc) errors are generally not recoverable. The error encountered is simply displayed on a page by using the model of "Error Message. So as you said yourself, you create your own process line Fetch and have the opportunity to customize the management mistakes, or you paste a validation on the page to verify that a folder can be accessed for the views expressed.

  I have an area which allows you to enter search criteria. There are two fields and a button. The 1st field is a selection list that gives a list of columns in a database that can be searched on. The 2nd field is where the user enters the value to search for. The user can submit the search in 2 ways. They can press the button or press return when the cursor is in the 2nd item that is a text field (always submits page when you press enter). The results are then displayed in a region of report below.
  
  The problem I have, is that if the request is for > 10 seconds and the user gets impatient and hits the Enter key or the button search again the query is returned for a second time (or third or fourth according to the impatience of the user) causing the claim on the basis of data with a negative impact on the performance of the system.
  
  I know how to handle the search key. On a click event on I turn off the button so that the user cannot click on it again and resubmit the request.
  
  My question is - how can I turn off "always provides a page when you press enter" text item when the user presses enter? I tried an onclick event, but disabled the front element I could type in anything. Onblur event does not seem to do anything.
  
  Any ideas would be very appreciated.
