• Need a written conditional script which involves layer styles and pixelation. Possible payment may be negotiated.

  I am a freelance illustrator who uses extensively layer styles in my workflow.  As the pixelation and the implementation of a new layer style is constant and ongoing, I would like a way to rationalize the actions of 3-4 that I use currently in a single conditional script.  I am currently using CS6.  Here's the description detailed of how I want the script to run:

  (1) is the selected layer named "layer magic 1"?  Otherwise, go to the #2 line.  If Yes, go to the #8 line.

  (2) is the selected layer named "magic layer 2?  Otherwise, go to the #3 line.  If Yes, go to the #8 line.

  (3) is the selected layer named "layer Magic 3"?  Otherwise, go to the #4 line.  If Yes, go to the #8 line.

  (4) is the selected layer named "layer Magic 4?  Otherwise, go to line 5-7 bolt torque.  If Yes, go to the #8 line.

  (5) make the new layer.

  (6) new name "Layer1" layer magic

  (7) add the layer style (also nominated) "magical layer1.  Script concludes.

  (8) the layer is empty?  If Yes, go to the #9 line.  Otherwise, go to line 10-12 bolt torque.

  (9) queue dialog box: "the end of magic layers?  with the choice of the 'yes' or 'no '.

  • If "Yes" is selected, the layer is removed.  Script concludes.

  • If "no" is selected, the layer is kept (no change).  Script concludes.

  (10) rasterize layer.

  (11) rename the layer 'layer of paint '.

  (12) merge the layer down.  Go to the line of 5-7 bolt torque.

  I would prefer if possible javascript, because I will need for the script between my Mac desktop and my Windows Tablet of the Cintiq based on the port.  Any help would be greatly appreciated; It took me some time to try to learn the writing of scripts, but between labor day and the night in freelance, I managed only by creating extreme levels of frustration!  Laughing out loud!  PLEASE AND THANK YOU!

  I know it's a little ugly code lines 32-45, but (through other channels, thank you JJMack & c.pfaffenbichler!), I realized that there is no way to script, the rasterization of a "layer Style" others that using ScriptingListener.plugin.  DBarranca  Yes... I realized a little I "screwed the dog" on the diaper change after that I played with him for a while.  Also a little, visited account that the "new layer" you were a little enough to add was not going to solve my problem. ended up having to add a "new layer" on line 20.  Everything seems to work exactly as I intended at the moment.  I DO, however, like the idea of having an error message "cannot find the magic layer1 Style".  How would I want to add that in?

• Satellite P10-304: the problem writing and erasing CD - RW discs

  Some need help pls. I own a Toshiba satellite P10-304 with a combo player SD-R2412 installed. When I try to burn a new CD - RW, it does ok, but wouldn't allow no other written on the same CD in another session. The written CD - RW is then recognized as a CD-ROM. In addition, it is not possible to erase the cd - rw usinig this player. When I take the cd written for my laptop office of deletion, as it's done with success and my toshiba can then burn again. Any ideas on what to do?

  Additional information: laptop computer came bundled with "drag n dro cd" but I had to install Roxio and even tried the cd writing software provided with windows XP are done everything to nothing. I checked the 'advanced system info-error log' and the report there is 'the device, \Device\CdRom0, has a bad block'; I don't know what that means.

  In my opinion, it's probably caused by software. In my opinion, you should remove all burning software and verify all burning functions with windows option. After deleting some software, it can happen that, in the registry editor it is a lot of waste that will not be removed completely.

  In any case, delete all the burning software, and you can also try to remove the device from Device Manager DVD. Restart the laptop and DVD should be detected and installed correctly. Try using the option of engraving of Windows and if there is still problem writing once again please.

  I'm sorry, but I don't have a solution for you.  You can check the Device Manager (start > run > devmgmt.msc > OK) to see if there are warnings next to your CD burner.  If there is a caution icon, double-click the entry and see what it says under "device status".

  I don't know how you use picture & Fax Viewer to burn a CD.  The usual method, except if you have 3rd party CD burning software, is to use Windows Explorer.  This is what Windows XP Help & Support has to say on this topic:

  To copy files and folders to a CD

  1. Insert a blank, writable CD into the CD burner.
  2. Open my computer.
  3. Click the files or folders to copy to the CD. To select multiple files, hold down the CTRL key while you click the files you want. Then, under file and folder tasks, click copy this file, copy this folder, or copy the selected items.

     If the files are located in my pictures, under management of images, click copy to CD or copy all items to a CDand go to step 5.

  4. In the dialog box copy items , click the CD player record, and then click copy.
  5. In my computer, double-click the CD burner. Windows displays a temporary area where the files are held before they are copied to the CD. Verify that the files and folders you want to copy to the CD appear under files ready to be written on the CD.
  6. Under CD writing tasks, click write these files to CD. Windows displays the Assistant burn a CD. Follow the instructions in the wizard.

  Notes

  • To open my computer, click Startand then click my computer.
  • Do not copy more files to the CD that it will hold. Standard CD hold up to 650 megabytes (MB). Large capacity CD contain up to 850 MB.
  • Don't forget that you have enough disk space on your hard disk to store the temporary files that are created during the CD writing process. For a standard CD, Windows reserves up to 700 MB of available disk space. For a high-capacity CD, Windows reserves up to 1 gigabyte (GB) of the available free space.
  • After you copy files or folders to the CD, it is useful to view the CD to verify that the files are copied.

  4. When you get exactly the script error message and web page error message appears?

  5. what exactly you're talking about when you say "system check"?

  A few errors in this script:

  1 DATACOPY is not allowed inside the IF block. You can use the assignment ('=') instead of datacopy

  2 ENDIF is missing. You should have ENDIF before hook closing.

• Basic conditional script based on the number of lines in a text layer?

  Just received help here to write a conditional script by using the font size of a text layer. Thank you all for this.

  The next hurdle is a conditional script using the number of lines in a text layer in the differential. Far as I can tell it not the layer details which specify the number of lines. Just '\r' for a return in the idTxt descriptor. Nothing seems to stand for a soft return as far as I can tell. I'll probably have to be able to count the lines with soft and hard returns.

  Any thoughts?

  I was playing around with this a bit and here is a small script to determine the number of rows. This is based on the self in the head, that I calculated to environ.108 times the size of the font.

  1. it does not create the blocks for the new budget year since we don't use datacopy
  
  2. If I try to use create custom block missign it opens too many blocks in the Essbase database.
  
  How can I change the code above to achieve this datacopy resolve these two issues I have mentioned.

  Two thoughts:
  (1) create new UDAs, for example, NewA1, NewA2, etc. A pain, but it could be done.
  (2) I think that this has been suggested before, but I don't know if it would really work: DIFFICULTY (@RELATIVE ("Division_A1", 0) AND @UDA ('entity', 'New'))

• Problems with PowerCLI script variables

I have a few other PowerCLI scripts that work in a way similar to this work and these, but this one has a problem. The script is intended to collect information on a number of ESX objects in an array of arrays, $reportfinal, which can then be written to a CSV file that will have the column names for the objects, and each line will yield the values for RDM related objects for each virtual computer. The problem is that, rather than add the results to the table of $reportfinal, the results are crushed, and worse still, the values repeat themselves (for example the size of the various disks is reported as the same value).

  I get the error message "there was a problem writing to the cache file... beacause of an error of dick." The cache will now be replaced?

  I think the exact words for the points you leave is the path of your user account and end with "stamp"?

  If so this is caused by the preference you set for ' export automatically hides files when possible.

  And it's not nice to say, but I'm glad that you have this problem because I started to think I was the only one in the world who had seen this message

  If you go to the bridge preferences Cache section and uncheck this option, you will probably not see this message again. There is no cache files written in your records, but I saw no advantage in the fact of the bridge still needed a lot of time to read this cache file

  I'm working on the script of migration provider. I used (AP_VENDOR_PUB_PKG) APIs to create sites of provider and supplier. Version of the application is 12.1.1
  
  I have to change the DUNS_Number value to the supplier. to test, I created provider of front end.
  When I create the front end provider, DUNS_Number is not stored either in AP_SUPPLIERS or AP_SUPPLIER_SITES_ALL Tables but its storage in the HZ_PARTIES Table.
  
  Here, my question is, why it is the DUNS_Number value in the HZ_PARTIES TABLE storage, why not in the AP_SUPPLIERS Table?
  
  Please suggest me via script, how can I insert the DUNS_Number table AP_SUPPLIERS or AP_SUPPLIER_SITES_ALL value.

  I have a form with radio 5 buttons. Two of the radio buttons, the values 3 and 5 must make visible hidden subform. All other values are leaving the hidden subform. Here is my script:

  Value 3 does not work. All other values are working as expected. I've been watching this script on over an hour and does not know why it does not work. Any help would be appreciated.

  }

  else {}

  }

  OR

  Use the switch as a box below.
