  You should make a backup of your library when you use your old computer. You cannot use iTunes game now to recover any loss of information. See recover your iTunes from your iPod or an iOS device or purchase history.

Now that I try to boot XP, I need to re activate my software. Microsoft says I have an incorrect product key for this installation. We bought several Hp 2450 from different vendors and had pre-installed them with XP instead of Vista. I have several licenses for schools with product keys and Microsoft says that none are valid

  I'm on a laptop computer with dsl internet IE with another computer using the gateway. My os is Vista Home premium and service pack 2. I checked my settings on a regular basis and updated and scanned my system regularly. I periodically check the security settings for all the problems, and they are usually very good. However, I had taken a couple of times in administrator mode, I don't have the rights of security to certain files or programs. When I checked the security labels, I got a message that I could see the settings, but could not make changes. This should not be, as far as I know, because the administrator must have all the rights. I've never seen any icon like this on the Security tab, (or anywhere else) in the past. I went into the security on a folder tab and proceeded to bring up the list of groups and their safety features and found the icon comments soiled by a arrow pointing down. Guests (multiple) icon didn't. I can't bring up anything on this subject. I'm the only person on this computer, and I use the only admin account to do administrative tasks.  I have a personal account, which is a standard user account and both accounts are protected by Word. The guest account has never been activated. The curious to keep in mind another note is that other groups are listed under the name of my pc, but system and comments are not included, for a long time with others who are in the usual list of people or groups. I'm sure that the system must be included, because that always has all the rights. I don't have not find a way to change the icon, or find info for the customer. I searched your site and forums, as well as several other pc and tech support forums and can't find anything close to this issue, save the information on the Chameleon that MSN uses in their toolbar that makes icons from almost anything. Who is listed in my registry under MSN. It seems trivial, but I think it is maybe not so innocent, if it's way in. There are icons from two people on my printer files even if I checked them as not shared. I had checked to share, as well as the share folder normal, to see if anyone is on the network of the group to my computer profile. There was no evidence, however, I thought it would show the other computer on the local network, since the group is the same name. These icons came from. Everyone was listed as entitled to print and edit or delete parameters or printers and print on stations there. I couldn't do that. At most I would not have understood change or delete anything. In the group list, everyone was marked not with my pc name. Local service, I thought I was usually part of the active list is not marked either. System is not marked either.   I'm a little puzzled. Y at - it a simple explanation that I may have missed?

  In Vista, administrators have all the access rights as they did in XP.  NUMBER of cases do not have access.  There are records of point junction where everybody is seen to deny access.  This is intentional to decrease the chance that someone will change, move or delete something, they should not (even administrators).  Some of them can be modified in order to access and others require special modifications of access - which shouldn't be done without a VERY good reason (as told to do so by Microsoft Support).  What you missed is that the permissions have changed in Vista from XP.

  Here is some information on permisions and property in Vista that can help:

  To view your permissions, right-click on the file/folder, click Properties, and check the Security tab.  Check the permissions you have by clicking on your user name (or group of users).  Here are the types of permissions, you may have: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/What-are-permissions.  You must be an administrator or owner to change the permissions (and sometimes, being an administrator or even an owner is not sufficient - there are ways to block access (even if a smart administrator knows these ways and can move them - but usually should not because they did not have access, usually for a very good reason).)  Here's how to change the permissions of folder under Vista: http://www.online-tech-tips.com/windows-vista/set-file-folder-permissions-vista/.  To add take and the issuance of right of permissions and ownership in the right click menu (which will make it faster to get once it is configured), see the following article: http://www.mydigitallife.info/2009/05/21/take-and-grant-full-control-permissions-and-ownership-in-windows-7-or-vista-right-click-menu/.

  To resolve this problem with folders, appropriating the files or the drive (as an administrator) and give you all the rights.  Right-click on the folder/drive, click Properties, click the Security tab and click on advanced and then click the owner tab.  Click on edit, and then click the name of the person you want to give to the property (you may need to add if it is not there--or maybe yourself).   A lot of general system groups are included by inheritance rather than be listed in each file and folder - that's why they are not always there - but they are.  If you select Advanced, you'll see permissions inherited from other folders.

  I have no idea on the arrow on the guest account - I don't know what that means.  It may have something to do with safety or you installed AV programs (I know that Norton did something similar with the files to show if they have been backed up).  Personally I don't use the guest accounts and recommend against them because they are too easy to use to hack the sytem (and other reasons).  I would keep the disabled guest account and delete the duplicates but one off a (in the start menu / control panel / user accounts / manage other users).

  I don't know why you can't see other computers on your local network - that sounds like a network or installation problem connection coming to redo the connection from scratch will fix (and then you can remove the one that isn't working right).  I don't know why your printer changed - rights but you can easily set them back to how they must be with the Security tab in the properties of the printer (and other settings in the start menu / control panel / printers).

• Update Flash Player today to the latest version, 11.3.300.262, and now FB4.6 debugger do not work.

  Title says it all.  I'm always up to date Flash Player whenever I get one of these dialog boxes 'Flash Player update now' when a new version comes out I say to myself that I would always have the latest version as I'm developing software with it.  However, while all other updates have never caused this problem today immediately after the update, I get this error when you try to launch my application through the IDE Flash Builder 4.6 with the debugger:

  The copy of debugging always built and lance in my browser, but I just can't use my debugger more.  I tried to call Support technique Adobe on this matter on the phone, but after collecting all my information (including verification of that series was a play that I bought in fact), I was told that they couldn't help me unless I paid them more money - which is a little ridiculous since there was an update to adobe who broke it.

  Basically, I'm curious if a) this is a known issue or not yet, and b) what I can do to make any return to work correctly short of reinstalling FB 4.6 (that is to say, can I downgrade Flash Player to that preceding the most recent update?).

  EDIT: I uninstalled flash player and was then a fresh re-install the latest version - still get the same errors.

  EDIT 2: removed the Flash Player again and this time installed the last version Release, 11.3.300.257 - I still get the same error.  Maybe something broke up with Flash Builder.  I have yet to get all the answers, I'm just going to go ahead and reinstall Flash Builder.  Report back if that fixes it or not...

  EDIT 3: Okay, so I uninstalled Flash Player and Flash Builder completely.  I installed the latest version of Flash Player once again (11.3.300.262), then the latest version of Flash Builder 4.6.  Always make the SAME MISTAKE.  I'll go home for now and come back in the morning.  Please, any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated, as I can't get any job without the debugger.

  This is a known bug in Flash Builder 4.5 and 4.6.

  It will be fixed in the next version of Flash Builder.

  The workaround for Flash Builder 4.5 and 4.6 is to download the two 32-bit & 64-bit debug player.

  I've only been able to recreate this problem on a machine in my control. This issue has also reported to me by a customer.

  I tried to change the locale of the system of EN - UK EN-US, but I was not aware of any change in behavior.

  Similarly, I've tried explicitly overriding the default locale of the system with the OracleGlobalization parameters, and it also had no effect.

  The difference in behavior between the two hosts was found to be reduced to differences in configuration VS.

  Checking 'Just my code' prevents the first chance thrown in the debugger exception. As in fact, the exception is handled in the provider, it is enough for me.

  Absolutely not. You're misinterpreting things. Activation does not happen when you simply run the installer, although later. This means that what he says - there is another 'install' pending / assets on your system, which means somewhere, there is a process (invisible) always blocking things. Whatever it is, since you have not provided any real technical info, we can not advise specifically. If you are using Windows, you can check your task manager and to terminate any process setup.exe and msiexec.exe more potentially will need to manually fix / remove some registry keys. What beyond this, you will be much more accurate.

  No chance, it's because I made a copy of this software and stored on a network drive power off and it went out of this network drive?

  If you have opened a project of the same name from a different location, it is when it shows the full path both - in this case showing just the name of the project would not help because it would be the same thing!

  Until you do this, consider saving them to a flash drive or download them with the Share button. If you click on the "customize and print" box, you will be able to print your new project or change it later. (See image below).

  If it's a copy of volume license installed, you will need to contact your employer to find the product key and get the installation files.

  If it is preinstalled at the factory with Windows 7 Professional, then use the recovery partition to reinstall Windows 7.

  New computers coming often pre-installed with Windows 7 have what is called a recovery partition. This is used to reinstall an operating system in the case of a system failure. To access it, you need to start when you start your computer by pressing a function key. This can be either F1, F2, F9, F10, F11, F12 key DEL or tab. See the manual that came with your PC for instructions on how to reinstall Windows.
