  Yes, it is possible - this is how I did it (don't know if it's exactly what you want):
  1 open the topic that contains the image you want to add to external links
  2. navigate to the frame within the section that you want to add the URL to
  3. click on view the--> windows--> link Frame
  4. you should see the link Frame open the pane below your frames
  5. Select the first line and click on the 'Create link' button on the top of the pane link image (icon looks like a link in the chain)
  6. Select 'Document in the library' or 'URL' (URL can be any URL that you specify manually - I've linked my frame of Google for test purposes)
  7. Select OK
  8. Select the icon you want to use for your link
  9. your text of ToolTip to the step where you included the link, must now show the icon you have selected for your link
  10 save your topic and close
  11 view Try It! mode
  12. you should see your icon and will be able to access your specified URL (it must open a subpage)

  If you're talking about the URL 'help' at the top right of the home page, then go to the Webprofile in use and remove the url from the "help URL:" field. And bounce your Web server.

• Is there a way to remove the 'Review comments' link of the KC homepage

  I would like to clean the home page by removing some links. Some of the links I wanted to delete have been using search and ask an expert. I managed to remove this by going to the Server Manager page in the KC.

  I also want to remove the following "Review Feedback" link, but I don't see this option in the Server Manager page in the KC. Is this another I can remove it from the homepage?

  Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated.

  You will see the option to return to the review if you checked all the titles under 'titles available for Feedback. If there is no selected here title, you will not see the option to return to the review. But I adivce to use since it is a new feature introduced with 11.1 of the PUK.

  You can integrate the PUK into PeopleSoft in two ways (vanilla)
  -the substitution of the help link
  -With the help of content associated

  Because you want to use both, I would say keep the PeopleBooks on the help link and set the PUK content through a related content

  I don't know what you mean by "windows OS is as tough as unix." ("tough"?) But I will say that I have worked with every major release of Windows since its inception. I worked with several flavors of nix (Solaris, AIX, HPUX, Linux RedHat/Oracle).  I started my career on the big iron IBM (s - 360 and various descendants and various derivatives).  And given the propensity of humans to prefer what they already know about something again, I should prefer Windows to the nix. But the reality is that I learned to avoid Windows I get chances. It can be a very good OS, but it is "too clever by half."

  If Microsoft built cars, whenever you were forced to buy a new model, you want to spend several weeks searching for the next drive, the throttle, ignition, the spare wheel...

  "My mom always said that Windows is like a box of chocolates..." You never know what you will get.

• Use of the guide of the PUK since the intranet

  We're pushing the use of the PUK for all our COMPUTER applications (Oracle and others). We do not use any LMS System.
  
  What we want to do is to access the guides of the PUK directly from our MS Sharepoint intranet via simple links (PUK Guide to ERP, the PUK for the PLM... Guide)
  
  The way we do it is to create the link pointing to the play.exe file that is found in each folder "Content Publishing" and we face 2 problems:
  * Internet explore issues several warning because we launch and executable file that create bad user experience
  * Execution of the remote drive provide poor performance (it takes several minutes bnefore the content appears)
  
  Is there another way to publish content on the intranet and to solve this?

  It is probably just to ask your location and is not a virus. Try going to System Preferences/security & privacy / confidentiality, unlock the lock and see if there is a box you can uncheck which stops applications. Safari is probably the logical choice.

• iTunes and Blackberry link conflicts

  Rename iTunesPrefs.xml will reset various settings in iTunes. If your library is < user music > \iTunes default path and you have the options to keep... and copy... enabled, you may not notice a change, but the parameters that will have been reset include the active library, media folder file, sharing of XML, the import settings, etc. Check through each tab in Edit > Preferences to see if there's anything to change the way that you had it before.

  I tried to update my iTunes this weekend.  Now, I can't open it I get this error: AVCFPlayerSetclientEnforcedExternalProjectionMethod is not found in the AVFoundationCF.dll dynamic link library is on a Windows 7 computer.  I tried to re - install outside of iTunes and repair.  But no luck.  Should I uninstall iTune and then re-install?  Help.

  These errors can usually be fixed by removing the offending dll, then fix the component it is programs and features Control Panel. AVFoundationCF.dll belongs to Apple Application Support and are normally in

  • C:\Program Files\Fichiers Files\Apple\Apple Application Support or
  • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support

  where the name of the Program Files folder may vary depending on the region.

  For general advice, see troubleshooting problems with iTunes for Windows updates.

  The steps described in the second case are a guide to remove everything related to iTunes and then rebuild what is often a good starting point, unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review other cases and a list of documents to support further down the page, in which case one of them applies.

• iOS 10.0.2 links open in safari not apps

  I have an iPhone 6 and just go to ios 10.0.2. Links to connect to applications like youtube and Instagram are open in Safari instead of in their respective applications (as they have since at least ios 8). However, they take the extra step to go through the app as they will open there as usual, but then open in Safari. For example, if I click on a link in the description area of a youtube video of Instagram Instagram opens, but then suddenly pass to Safari, once the load application. In Safari, the upper left corner will tell Instagram, but if I come back, it's just my home feed and not the link, I clicked. The account that I clicked the link is opened in safari, but it's embarrassing because I am not connected to different accounts all the time on safari, so from there I can't like, follow, sharing etc. Is the same for the opposite, if I click on a YouTube video of a profile of Instagram, it opens the youtube app and then stutters and open safari and if I click back to youtube at the top left it goes to my usual youtube of power and if I click on open in safari app the same past (just my flow (, not the video from the link). I can't find any information about this problem except for a beta tester ask the question in July and another person knows the same thing a week there by clicking on the links in whatsapp. This really slows things because it goes through a two-step process to open the application and then the link in Safari, where I'm not logged in. Someone knows how to fix this problem or how to report?
