  But when the same code is run through EditRegion of HTML text box > region definition > sources > Source region, the result is not displayed.

  You need a report from the region for this ;) A region of HTML is to display a static text or page items.

• Reducible, text box widget no longer works in accordion panels.

  The foldable Muse themes text box widget does more work in accordion panels in the latest version of Muse.

  I have a site to build from last year that is published and the foldable boxes 'read more' work very well.

  I update this site and the collapsible text boxes do not work.  The customer isn't happy and I am looking at hours of unpaid work to rebuild or copy the new text and assets in the former code.

  I need another solution for the Muse collapsible text boxes.

  A text box with Auto c0mplete and the willing lov query of a filter on an another field (actually), two of which are defined by dynamic actions. Whats happening is the AutoComplete does not work. I've set up here

  In fact, when the user selects the command 1, it has only 1 product, it will show a field of the view, if you select 2, she has two products so that it displays a list of selection with B and C.   The LOV query for the AutoComplete P586_SEARCH_LOV element depends on the value of the issue of P586_PRODUCT_NAME_LIST session state:

  As you can see by using the Session Viewer, this was not initially a value.

  The value of P586_PRODUCT_NAME_LIST is assigned dynamically using LOV cascading. Similarly, P586_SEARCH_LOV must also be an element of LOV cascading, the property Parent of the LOV cascading item (s) to P586_PRODUCT_NAME_LIST.

  Note that the only State of Session save of P586_PRODUCT_NAME_DISPLAY display property is set to No, meaning that it does she hold a session state value. Its use in the P586_SEARCH_LOV LOV query is therefore redundant, following the the: P586_PRODUCT_NAME_DISPLAY variable bind reference will always be null. P586_PRODUCT_NAME_LIST still holds the value of product name, even when it is not visible.

• Need to show some search values in the text box on the Dataset to ask

  I have a requirement where I need to display the values (which are roles) from a search in the text box. The purpose is to show to the end users list of roles. They should not be able to select these roles. They simply view the list and enter role in a text field. I thought of using the text box as the component to use for the display of these roles. However, I can't use the property search for widget = "textarea" in the dataset query.
  
  Can we achieve or y at - it no other components where I can show list of roles so that users can simply view the list.

  In research, you use a query. You can run the same query to prepopulate adapter. And certainly you can pre-populate TextArea.

• Filling of LOV based on a value in the text box.

  Will have a form page, that contains a text box and select an item list.
  
  For example:
  
  Name of the Department: the text box
  Employee name: selection list
  
  I need to learn all the employee name in the selection list based on the service name entered in the text box.
  
  I can't change the name of this Department as a pick list, or select the list to submit.
  
  Every time when I entered a value in the text box the value of the employee name department name must be autopopulated in the movement of the tab.

  Just install the employee like a LOV LOV cascading, it works even if the parent element is not a LOV itself
  

• Choose cascade LOV option 'yes '.
  
• Use the service element in the definition of the query of the LOV
  
• Add the name of the option in the Parent parent points and items to submit the list.

  Hello. I have a javascript code to click a button and it will insert the date in a text box named "Controller_PDF_Creation_Doc_Control_Date" in my form. I also have a drop-down list called 'Release_Approval_Initials '. Everything I'm doing is when there is a date of entry in the text box, I want that the 'Release_Approval_Initials' of the menu drop-down default by selecting the option "TM". The drop-down list is filled dynamically too. How can I do this? Here is the code I have.

  I figured out how to make it work. I just had to add parentheses in the right places to make it work. Here's what I did:

  I have a drop-down list called CN_Entry_Initials with options of a "C" or a "N". I also called Part_Number to enter a part number in a text box. I want the text box part number be grayed out or disabled until a "C" or an "N" was chosen out of the CN_Entry_Initials of the menu drop down. I have this operation, except that I can't add it to almost anything. I think it's something to do with the way in which I have if statement for this disabled text box, or do I have to change the touch of a button "submit it". Does anyone know how to fix this? Below is the javascript and the drop down menu code menu and the text of the box as well as to add it or submit button. There are additional stuff in Javascript I have on the page, but I don't need to worry about those things because they do not work properly. I have the code text box disabled in the upper part of the javascript in the verify() function code. Thank you.

  Seems that the braces "{" Javascript function are incorrect, the audit function performs only the feature of toggling the Part_Number text box which is the reason why the alert function worked when you added it in here.

  What you can do is to create a separate function which just active / disable the Part_Number text box and add it to the onchange event of the area of selection.

• Text box display problem

  I'm using CF7 developer on a single computer to create pages. I just bought the Standard edition and installed on the server, I'll use. In general, Cold Fusion seems to work, including database connections. However, when I move to a page with a form, the text boxes are missing. The form is built into a table, and the table as well as the other text is missing. Looking at the source of the page in the browser, it's like CF just jumped the table completely. The same exact page works on the development computer, but not on the server computer. Any ideas? Thank you.

  Never mind. :) The page in question involves a query that uses a cookie. I got access to the new installation of the computer of the developer, who already had an established cookie. When I transferred the table with the cookie ID of the new facility, I emptied. It has become a problem where a machine had a cookie that does not match anything in the database on the Server table.

  I have a way to catch this problem on other pages and remove the bad cookie, but the request to this page slipped by me. Thanks for the help.

  1. simply check this using the Horizontal / Vertical alignment of attribute in the section of the label of the element of the Page definition.

  2. in the report of the attributes, the value of the plan of paging None; and the number of rows and number of maximum lines to more than the number of rows that will be returned by the report query.

  (You should only ignore this last you really know that the number of lines make this a reasonable option.) Nobody is going to want to scroll through thousands of lines or wait 5 minutes for total information overload. You wouldn't be popular with your admins/ISP network due to the excessive bandwidth consumed either.)

• change the color in the text box in the required field

  I would like to change the color in the white box (don't know a better name for this space on the form) next to a field title. And only for the mandatory elements on a page. This could be a selection list, a text box or a text field.

  Hello Maggie,

  The 'problem' with APEX, is that the deposit contains no information whether a field is required or not. Only the label has an attribute that you can set to "Required". Of course, you can create a query to retrieve items with a "Mandatory" label by:

  As Paulo wrote: you must manually set the attributes of elements of HTML form to a class (like class = 'RequiredField') and create an entry in your CSS for this class (I like. RequiredField {(background-color: #FFFFCC;}).}
  Or you can write clever code automagically defines this class for all the elements that are returned by the above application. I don't have that, but you should do something like:
  1. create a javascript function that onload is triggered. This js function must call an application process.
  2. this AP retrieves the 'required' of repository items and returns to the js function.
  3. the js function adds the class needed to these elements.

  Right now I use APEX 3.1.2.
  I experienced some problems with the elements of text box when I insert commas (,) in the text.
  For example,.
  I have a form with element 3 [bis (text area), B (text), C (text)]
  If I try inserting "abc, bcd, cde" has
  I get A = 'abc', B = "bcd" and C = "cde".
  
  I think APEX recognizes comma (,) as a separator in the value in the query to insert the form-related. I try with a calculation calculation calculation Post or after the presents (for example "|: A |) ") to enforce the APEX to recognize all of the text, but it does not work."

  If your text box contains the values concatenated to a string (: or; or, or another) you can use it in a query by replacing ":" with your string concatenation, similar to this example:
