• How to set the default text for a text entry area dynamically?

  I do a simulation and grabbing a my user text entry.  I store in a variable and you want to use as the default text for a text entry later in the simulation box.  It seems like it would need current for a software simulation.  However, I don't see a way to set the default text.  If I put the variable in a legend, I would use the syntax $$variablename$ $.  I tried to fix this in the text by default, but it did not work.  It is not interpreted as a variable.  Does anyone do this?  Please share.  Thank you.

  I had a need to do that as well... put a variable as default text name in a TBE field.

• How to generate CSR on switches for web auth with NGS

  I do solution dot1x with web auth on switches cisco 3750.

  Once the wired customer put in the web authentication status (after dot1x and mab) and goes to a website, he receives a certificate warning. This is because as the switch cisco selfsigned certificate.

  I want to use a verisign certificate to resolve this error, but I can't find a way to generate a CSR on a switch. I only found a guide how to request a certificate from a CA on the local network, but it is also not a solution, because the customers with the help of web authentication, won't the internal certification authority.

  Is it possible to fix this?

  The document below is really for IOS SSLVPN, but the part of the certificate must be the same:

  Search for the 'Annex B' and it goes into the creation of a trustpoint and then a section for the self-signed and another is to generate a certificate request to send to an external certification authority.

  Once created a trustpoint command to actually generate the CSR is "crypto PKI enroll."

  Also, you can use something external to the switch as OpenSSL to generate the CSR and private key and then use it to request a certificate from your Verisign CA and then import the cert/key pair in the IOS device.

• How to generate a unique global identifier?

  I was sure that this would be covered somewhere, but couldn't find it.  I was wondering if there is any standard way to create some sort of unique identifier, a little in the world?  I'm trying to collect data from my application and I try to avoid collecting everything that would be personally identifiable to a particular device.  On other platforms, there is the notion of a GUID.  Is something like this provided out of the box?  At the present time, the best thing that I came up with is cat a bunch of long random set that seems kind of hoaky.

  We have a requirement for our application, to add a single search box, which searches more than 1 table of different columns. The way in which we have now implemented, is the following (simplified example):

  This approach is relatively slow, of course. I want to change it, using the text of the Oracle. Can you give me advice what kind of index, must be used? Our requirement:
  -index must continue to be up-to-date (a few seconds)
  -research must be
  -case insensitive preference
  -number of columns to be indexed: aprox. 20 in a table
  
  I heard once you can make a function, with all the columns you want to index. This function generates an xml document, and you can use this function to create an Oracle text index. However, I can't seem to find how I can implement that. Or is there a better aproach?

  You can use a multi_column_datastore, that generates xml documents as you describe in the scenes. You can also use the transactional option or sync (on validation) with optimization. See the simplified example with only two columns below that matches what you provided. You can find further information and examples for the multi_column_datastore in the online documentation.

  I want to use a function of earphone unique event to manage several dynamically created movie clips, each movie clip triggering a different answer. I am pulling information from an xml file, which will in turn create x video clips for the information found. Each video clip would be clickable, and each would have a unique result.   the event.currentTarget will return the released movieclip. You can add any property/value you want (for example, a name property) your movieclip buttons. This property is accessible via event.currentTarget.yourProperty (for example, event.currentTarget.name) in traceName().

  I want to compare a value with multiple values, how is it possible?

  I tried to design the same logic here as an attachment, but I had the problem that when I entered the value of y that is compared with only a minimum value of x, I don't want I want to compare the value of y with the value of x and then if y is less than x while loop should be stop.

  I want to do because in my program some time I have not result I want, for example, the values of x is 4,5,6,7,8 and value is assumed to be 6 then while loop should be stop but here he considers only less and its 4 here so so that the loop is not stop even there is less then 7 and 8. So I want to compare the value of y with all values of x and if y is less then one of the values while x loop should be stop and led should be on.

  Please guide me how I can do...

  I don't understand?  If there is less than the minimum value of X then it is less than all values of X.  That's what I do anyway:

  I was wondering if in Win XP or Vista, is there a way to disk defragment multiple devices?

  I go in disk defrag at the moment and can only do one disc at a time. I have run more than one player internal (and some external drives). So I need a bit of an automated process to turn it on and leave it alone. I use this option in Norton 360, it works fine as far as I can tell. But I guess that a windows application is more accurate or complete.

  Dual boot: Xp Home Edition 32-bit/Vista Home Premium 32-bit, portable: Vista Home Premium 64-bit.

  The version of the Disk Defragmenter MMC console is provided with Windows XP this the following limitations:
  a. it can defragment only local volumes.
  b. it can defragment only one volume at a time.
  c. it cannot defragment one volume while it is an another scan.
  d. it cannot be scheduled. If you need schedule disk defragmentation, use the Defrag.exe command-line tool.

  When you click on an element of firstmenu I want the first activity of view which will be called and displayed as a region and vice versa
  This can be using the dynamic and vibrant region link concept, but in this case, I must have 4 taskflows

  the views are in a stream unique task, is it the default activity is an activity of router. Then go viewId name you want to see as an entry for the workflow setting and make sure that the area is refreshed (you can set Refresh on IfNeeded region for triggers to change value of input parameter of task flow cooling in response to a partial refresh--> PartialTriggers property on af:region pointing to your menu item ID). The router accesses the value of input parameter and determines the case of control flow to the view in the region
