Random letters added to my url - ideas?

Hi guys

This site in particular we started seeing funny random letters and numbers added to our URL - we do not touch these pages in a while and it started a week ago.  Even if you change the url in "SEO" etc... it automatically adds it.

Any ideas?

See http://tonipizza.co.za/Tonis_Pizza_Menu.html#.UbIe3JU56YU

it should read http://tonipizza.co.za/Tonis_Pizza_Menu.html

Support says that it might be one of our scripts that "broke" - but it seems a bit much for me.  Still, we do not touch code on this page for a loooong time.

Thank you

Casper

Hey Casper,.

There is some kind of conflict with support of content that you placed on the page.  When you remove the url restores back to normal.

I would like to look into this script in the support of content 'Add' which probably affects the output of the url.

Kind regards

-Sidney

  • DeskJet 600 prints symbols and random letters

    I use win xp pro and try to get an old HP Deskjet 600 to work.

    I connected with a parallel cable.

    No problem with the paper feeder or ink cartridges.

    When asked to print from word or the test page, I get a page of garbage with symbols and random letters.

    The first line begins with a symbol of the spade and then capital L then followed arrow on another capital L.

    Any ideas would be appreciated.

    Thank you

    Lynnega

    Hi Lynnega - usually this kind of problem is the result of having the selected incorrect printer driver or a problem with the cable.  A couple of things to check:

    -When you click on print (from any program you print from - from MS Word), make the DeskJet 600 is selected.  If it is not selected, search through the list and select it.

    -If the 600 DeskJet is selected, turn the printer off and unplug and reconnect the parallel cable to the computer and the printer.

    -If is not yet solve the problem, I recommend to try another cable.  Cables can go wrong and the result is usually the impression of 'trash' that you see.

    Hope that helps.

  • FirefoxHTML\Shell\Open\Command is added to the URL selected in Excel, Windows 8, ver 27.0.1

    When you click on a link in MS 2007 Office components such as Excel, FirefoxHTML\Shell\Open\Command is added to the URL causing the search to 404.

    I use Windows 8 on a Sony Vaio and the 27.0.1 of firefox version.
    Firefox is up to date and my default browser.

    Web search indicates it is a recurring problem with issues dating back to the first versions.
    It started after my last update to the current version

    Try to reset the default browser and temporarily set another browser as your default browser.

    Alternatively, you can check for problems with the DDE.

  • When I use the Google search bar result is a page of random letters with question marks. Why? All other search engines are OK.

    The question didn't need to be expanded really.

    The screen I see is full of Black diamonds with points mark with numbers and random letters.

    First of all, try resetting Firefox. Refresh Firefox – reset settings and Add-ons. This simple step will eliminate the many problems in Firefox with just one click.

    A few other basic problems you can try things is the following:
    Run all Windows updates, install all required service packs, etc.

    Updating your graphics driver (Firefox uses the graphics card for rendering and an outdated graphics card driver can cause problems. Update your graphics drivers to use hardware acceleration and WebGL

    Update all of your plugins (Flash, Java, etc.): http://www.mozilla.org/plugincheck/.

    Download and install MalwareBytes Anti-Malware, run a full scan. http://www.malwarebytes.org/. This check allows that there is no virus on your computer, causing problems. You can uninstall this program after having cleaned the infections.

  • JSessionId token is added to the URL

    We use the adf security to ensure our product.

    Recently when scanning using Burp security vulnerabilities, there is an problem where JSessionId token is added to the URL.

    This happens only once if my browser has cookies. Here are the steps:

    1. open the new browser.

    2 hit root url of the product for example http://localhost:7001 / applicationName

    3. we use forms to adf based authentication redirects to the login page, which looks like:

    http://localhost:7001/ApplicationName/faces/login.jspx

    4. during step 3, he made a few (observed of the violinist) internal requests, see below:

    ResultURL
    302http://localhost:7001 / application1
    200http://localhost:7001 / application1.
    302http://localhost:7001 / application1 /; jsessionid = G3KhgjgY2jwUaiMeoohXhOfmB3LwMgyLVLWxu_ZbToLGlDNRQ6L6! 592651143? _afrLoop = 881430891901473 & _afrWindowMode = 0 & _afrWindowId = null

    200http://localhost:7001/Application1/faces/login.JSPX

    A few questions:

    1 Why is - what add us 'jsessionid' in the parameter request instead of send in the cookie (as all other applications)?

    2. is there a way we can force adf to send 'jsessionid' ALWAYS in cookie?

    Hello

    Have you added the name of cookie in weblogic.xml?  Please try to add and reproduce the problem. By default, WebLogic Server assigns the same name to cookie ( JSESSIONID ) for all Web applications.

    AnyNam cookie

    In this case, Weblogic Server will not use JSESSIONID and _WL_AUTHCOOKIE_JSESSIONID , but the name you mentioned in step above and _WL_AUTHCOOKIE_NameofCookie to serve the same purpose.

  • Random letters missing at the ends and middle of phrases in pdf format.

    Hello!

    I don't know what to do to solve this problem.  I converted an indesign file to PDF, crossed all the pre-flight, without error, and the pdf result ran out of random letters. There are a few at the end of the phrases, but sometimes the letters in the middle of a sentence, although usually before a comma. Is this a known error? Has anyone experience / solved this problem?

    Thank you!

    Hello

    What version of Acrobat is installed on your machine?

    What operating system do you use?

    Do you experience the same behavior with any other file as well?

    Also check if Acrobat is updated to the latest patch or not.

  • Web sites show some English words as gibberish (apostrophes and random letters)

    On some websites, some of the English words are transformed into gibberish. Apostrophes and random letters. It is not all websites and it's not all English words. I run Firefox in safe mode, without Add-ons and private mode. Whenever he has these random words.

  • Weird characters added to the URL string.

    So, while I use ColdFusion at work, I also use it on my personal website, where I host a blog and photos in the gallery.

    Whenever I click on a message or a photo from the Gallery, I noticed that the URL is added with a kind of token.

    For example, this:

    http://mysite/post/2224

    becomes this:

    http://mysite/post/2224#.VmKaAipG_0

    It allows for some URL channels very ugly when I paste something to someone.

    My host is using CF9 (I think) and Linux.  Is there an obvious reason that that?  I use the session management and cookies to the client in Application.cfc, so maybe that has something to do with it.

    Do you use a javascript like AddThis plugin on your website? Using firefox in seeing these links?

    I know that addthis puts params like this on the URL for analytics. -See more here what is Address Bar sharing Analytics?

  • Random letters appear after you save the PDF file

    Hi all

    One of my colleagues has found that a part of the text is after registration of a PDF document and re - open randomly changed. She works in Acrobat Pro XI.

    In one case, some of the numbers had changed to the decimal (diaphragm openings).

    In another case, a number had simply disappeared (example: 126-128 became 16-1, the 2 and 28 disappeared).

    Still another example text and numbers have been replaced with apostrophes and letters uppercase ' A'.

    It seems that in all cases, only the changes are limited to a particular text box that has been copied and pasted throughout each of the documents. Hereby, I want the text box began to Doc1 and was then copied into Doc2. Rather, I mean that there is a textbox which is copied and pasted on the various pages of the Doc1 and an area of separate text which has been copied across multiple in Doc2 pages and so on.

    Has anyone encountered this problem before? I tried searching for similar cases, without success, if anyone can point me in the direction of a similar position please do not hesitate.

    Otherwise whatever you think I could do to avoid these problems that occur.

    Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

    Sincere greetings

    Bluekable

    The only solution I found to print a Web page using the Adobe printer is uncheck the box-"rely on system fonts only; do not document fonts ".  This box is available in the Preferences tab after selecting the Adobe printer.

  • Random girl added me?

    If one day I'm on Skype to talk to my friend in chat text, when I noticed someone named *, sent me a friend request. So I clicked on accept, thinking that she could have a school friend, but she said that she had no idea how she found my profile but I wanted to talk to. Then asked me if I was on a dating site. I said that I was in a realtionship, but she ignored me and manages asking if I was single. Eventually she admitted that she was single and continues to ignore my questions. It's very strange and I hope I can get a response.

  • mouse randomly does not meet the flow, ideas on why and how to fix it?

    every now and then he does not meet the movement vertically or horizontally, its becomes quite annoying and had no idea why its happens or how to fix

    Check that the light under the mouse has no dirt top card, as long as your mouse pad is clean.
    Try the mouse in another USB port in order to verify that you are using is not defective.
    Try a different mouse is you still have a problem after doing the above to check if the mouse is defective.

  • Random audio added at the end of the videos made in Media Encoder

    I am facing a problem with Media Encoder.  When I export first to Media Encoder it is a random audio presentation of the timeline text ends at the end of the video when played. First of all, it happened to me while he was working as an editor in a production House last week. I had to export directly from first thing this text of presentation audio random in music or talk would end at the last second or two to make it final. They were running the latest versions of first and Media Encoder. Now, work at home on my desk, I find the same thing is happening on a completely independent project. AND it started a few days ago when I updated last update as well on both programs. If I export directly from first, the video is very good. If I export with Media Encoder, the audio presentation text is at the end of the video most of the time. Anyone who knows this?

    One of the things I love about CC is the ability to export all working. Something you could not do with the suites of the FCP and Avid, I had worked with in the past. But now I can't export and continue working because Media Encoder does not work properly. I repeat that this is not an isolated experience, because it took place on two separate Macs and age different OS systems.

    My problem seems to be resolved once make the updated Media Encoder AND rebooted my system. I would log in your Adobe Manager and check to ensure you have LATER I have although I did, but didn't. Even the 'compilation error' has disappeared. Don't forget to restart. I know that many stores never turn off their workstations. I do it every night. They ARE machines after all and wear if you let them all the time. But it is another forum that I will go down. Laughing out loud!

  • export to word, random letters

    Hi all!

    Little information on the situation:

    A company needs to edit a PDF file, as it is obsolete, they were trying to copy directly from the PDF file to word, but because it depends on a lot of presentation and information on the images which failed epicly. They asked if I could look in a way to correctly enter in Word so that they could easily modify it there.

    I've used Acrobat XI for export all converted correctly to Word, the layout and images and the layout was good.

    The problem, I am now running is that in about a quarter of the document lines of text were converted into a mixture of capital and normal letters, apparently V, C, H, E, D, B, K are the biggest problem and perhaps only, unfortunately much used in these few pages. The strange thing is that, for the other 3 quarters of the document the same letters are not a problem and not converted properly.

    I could get around the hard and change everything manually (or use find and replace in Word) to get correct them, but I thought I would try here first see if there may be an easy solution to what is happening. I tried Googling, but failed to find anything that fixed my situation or who looked like my situation.

    Open the PDF file in PDF-Xchange editor showed the same problems that I do not receive in Word, so I'm now thinking the problem may be with the PDF file and not the conversion.

    The font used is homogeneous on the whole document, both places with problems and no problem use "Frutiger" and converted to "Trebuchet MS".

    A quick test (won't stop trying things myself) shows that change the text of 'Frutiger' to 'Calibri' makes problematic areas work well after the conversion. Is there maybe an easy way to change all the text in the file as part of the selection of every bit of the text is a bit of a pain. (For google!)

    The document contains information that I can't share and so I can not put it online for others to see and apply their hand to it directly.

    If anyone can offer help any with it's much appreciated!

    If the document is not that big, it is probably faster to just try to start to edit. If you have tried the export, you probably have everything you can get reasonable. Maybe it's that the original document has been analyzed and the results are of the OCR. Even for a large document, it may be faster to editing everything just to start. Sorry, but that's probably what I would do.

  • Adding checksum to URL for pop-up window

    Using Apex 4.1.1

    I have the button that opens a pop-up indicating a report passing a parameter in the URL. The button calls the javascript function as defined below:
    <script language="JavaScript" type="text/javascript">
      function newReport()
         {
              url = 'f?p=&APP_ID.:37:&APP_SESSION.::NO::P37_ORDER_ID,P37_PLACE_ID,P37_NCR_TO:&P21_ORDER_ID.,&P21_PLACE_ID.,&P21_NCR_TO.';
              w = open(url,"winLov3","position=center, top=1,left=0,Scrollbars=0,resizable=0,width=800,height=800");
              if (w.opener == null)
              w.opener = self;
              w.focus();
         }
    </script>
    Everything works fine, but for safety, I would add the checksum to the arguments in URL. I had a look at the API Javascrpt for Apex and unfortunately it takes place to create a checksum that I can add to the URL.

    Is the one that I missed, or is it possible to do so by other means? See you soon.

    May be a more standard, more simple way, but may be a way...

    Create a hidden item to store the URL in.

    Create a dynamic action, certain events (e.g. click on the button).

    1st real action: run PL/SQL.

    Use APEX_UTIL. API PREPARE_URL CALL, assign the value to the element
    for example: P1_URL: = apex_util.prepare_url('url'); -This function generates the appropriate checksum

    Below in the code section, there's a setting: elements of the back Page. This is the value of your hidden page element.

    2nd real action: run JavaScript.

    Simply use the value returned from the PL/SQL

    for example window.open ($v ('P1_ITEM'));

    I think it should work...
