  anti1, older versions of the Z600 support microprocessors Intel 55xx only, later versions support as 55xx 56xx CPUs.  The best way to determine this is to boot the system, enter the BIOS F10 setup and look at the date of starting block.

  If the boot block date is 03/01/2009, the system supports the 55xx only processors.

  If the block start date is 07/01/2010, the system supports processors 55xx both 56xx.

  -C' is the block of start date, not the date of the version of the BIOS.

  -There is no way to update the boot block.  (There are several discussions in this forum about this)

  If your system has the block to start later, upgrade to a 6 core CPU 56xx will give best performance.  I think that the frequency of the processor 6 c is 3.47 GHz, although there is a 4 processor 3.6 GHz.  Your application supports multiple cores?

  To get an idea of any increase in performance, look at the reference site of CPU of the pass mark for the top processors of range, here.

  Based on these landmarks (I know, they are markers without real object numbers), you could get about 70% performance increase by using a X 5690 6 3.47 GHz CPU core.  Is it enough for your application?

• Limits of the skeleton L

  I'm stumbling on the limits of the function of the skeleton, and IMHO, they are about size.

  Only with a frame size of 230 x 160 or more, I'm getting a "real results".

  

  I'm not really happy with this behavior and lose a LOT of details here.

  (b) IMAQ skeleton is probably derived from the thinning skeletonized, which in turn is probably based on the morphology of the IMAQ. IMAQ morphology begins to be unreliable after a 100 iterations of magic...

  Did someone of NO can give more information? I'll probably have to re - implement the whole thing... but I would like to at least know where / IF I can trust this algorithm to a certain particle size.

  Just for anyone who actually search for the topic: I finished my own algorithm of skeleton. It works, there is no size limitation (beyond distances U16 ) and 84 x (upon my request) is as fast as the NOR one.

• menu bar popup not working if the focus is on the control of the chain

  Dear all,

  I wonder if this is the behavior expected or if I'm doing something wrong:

  On a Panel, I have a control of the chain; on double click, I opened a file selection box to select a file, then the file name on this control of the chain. After this action, this string is the active control, indicated by the gray frame.

  I also have a menu with some defined keyboard shortcuts bar for example F2. It seems that F2 is not functional, long as the focus is on the control of the chain. It's embarrassing because the typical user action is selects a file and then pressing on Fx. To resolve this problem, the user should click somewhere on the Panel to move the focus to another control. Of course this could be done programmatically, but the extra effort is not to say necessary for controls ring or digital controls. Also in digital controls, I can change the numbers, but even if a digital control is the active control due to the edition of the F2 value works immediately.

  I think what is happening here is that left double click is also used to highlight the text. So when you trigger the EVENT_LEFT_DOUBLE_CLICK, you're placing the text in the control of the chain and then also accentuating. It seems to be behaving strangely when the two of them occurs at the same time because of the order of the events. You can see that the mouse around when, returning from the file select popup causes the region highlighting to drag over the text. In this highlight mode, you cannot use the shortcuts for the menu. I was able to solve this problem by swallowing the EVENT_LEFT_DOUBLE_CLICK after you set the value of the control.

  I really wonder the max speed in the datasheet.  0,0833 "/ to 3.3" rev / s = about 40RPS (2400 RPM), which is extremely fast for a motor, especially at 24VDC.  Know exactly what engine is on the cylinder and go to www.applied-motion.com and you should be able to find curves of torque for that or a similar engine with various readers.  You will see that couple to 24VDC curves are not good.  In addition, ask Ultramotion if their speed/strength curve is theoretical, or tests have been conducted.

  My decision was very long, and whenever I get the motivation to upgrade to a W520, I always get worried about the forums. My main concern the limitation on the battery and the blocked processor clock. Since the last update of the BIOS, is it resolved? I can handle a small limitation on battery but 800 MHz is all just ridiculous. Before that I have finally let go of my money, buy the W520 in confidence that there is always these problems? I'll have to use this machine for at least 5 years, and if I have to start with these problems, I won't be a happy camper.

  I think you get a view polarized the W520 on this forum. It is a solid and reliable machine. The limitation of problems have been resolved there are some revisions of the BIOS.

  Yes, it is not perfect in every way. However, it is a boon to the developer of this software. Yes, I use it to do the real work.

  Now that I've sung his praises, I'll do a 180 in saying that I would wait for the "W530" at this late stage of the game. This is probably only a few months at sea and can represent a significant improvement.

  BTW: If you want to get one, you will get a better deal by the way for one of the pre-built reseller like Amazon or Buy.com. It is much cheaper to do it and then upgrade only to have Lenovo customize it for you.

  You will not be able to do. The DateField has a method getSubField, but not setSubField, it is managed internally.
  If you really need, I suggest you re - implement it with the functionality you need, should not be too difficult, however need some coach.

  I'm porting an application for BlackBerry 8900 using his emulator via the eclipse plugin. The application is large enough, it contains a lot of classes, some of them use a lot of static fields (mainly in the form: public final static String xxx = "yyy") and some here and there of the static methods.

  I ran into issues when I tried to run the application: 422 to xxxxx offset verification code.

  I found a few posts on the forum about this problem, but I have seen no clear solution. Someone has suggested that the source of the problem is the static methods/fields and proposed to refactor our source code to avoid using static fields. I followed technical debugging what he suggested, but it does not solve my problem. The error logged in the file '8900.bug' has changed of pointing on my course to point to the SDK classes ('Module 'net_rim_cldc_impl_softtoken' has verification errors"and"Module "net_rim_rimsecuridlib" contains errors of audit").

  I think that these errors are due to the limitations of black Berry JVM.

  I did a test program memory to display the amoungt of free memory (using "Runtime.getRuntime () .freeMemory ()" "") and it seems that it is not the limiting factor.

  I found that my midlet was causing a NullPointerException in the thread who load the classes and run their static initalizer. The JVM is hung not because of the static function, but the first load of the class that contains the static function.

  But when my javascript event fires to submit ajax request entry box retains loses focus.  I tried to reset the focus after writing the html code with blackberry.focus.setFocus (), but this function sets the cursor at the beginning of the entry rather than at the end zone, so I can continue typing.
