• Change the value of key Flexfield - job title Segment

  I understand that when a key flexfield structure is put in place, it is not advisable to change it and I don't mean to.

  What I want to do, however, is to change the columns value and reflected in the values of the segment. When I try to do, I get a message that field 40200 is protected against editing. It seems that I can do this with the other fields in flex, but not the title of the post. I know there are a number key behind it for relational purposes, so I don't know why it is locked from editing.

  Essentially, I need to change the verbiage associated with the value of the value and translated. I can't use the description column as it will be used for something else.

  "Do I need to create of new job titles whenever I needed to change 'Responsible' Executive, account", or when there is a spelling error? Is there an API that allows me to make these changes?

  Any thoughts are appreciated.

  Sorry I couldn't give you the answer you wanted

  1. I expect that you would be able to change an existing job definition to use a new segment value - however, I have no access to a system to be able to prove or to disprove the statement, the only thing I can suggest you do is try on a job. It would be relatively good news if you could because your referential integrity would not be affected since the internal job_id argument would be unchanged.

  2. to load a large number of sets of value, I believe that there is an internal package, even if it is not a public API in the truest sense - package FND_FLEX_VALUES_PKG. A better way, perhaps, if you can, to use the charger in a development instance data, then do a DOWNLOAD of FNDLOAD to extract a file TDL for later download to other forums. Or, if the power to lend themselves, simply use data loader in each time only. Data on a simple screen like this loader is certainly likely to cause problems.

  I am trying to write a query to retrieve all the data of special type of information for a person (in order to be used in a custom in Discoverer folder).
  
  I was able to get the segments and segment names (guests) but I'm fighting to get the values entered because of some of them being related to value sets.
  
  So far my query is:

  As you can see, I created a function to get the name of the segment. The query used in this function is:

  I can see the value to the actual value of the PER_ANALYSIS_CRITERIA segment (i.e., it was a free text field) or an identification number which I assume is related to a set of values.
  
  I am able to get the value of set ID of FND_ID_FLEX_SEGMENTS_VL in my service.
  
  However, based on these values, how then can I return the value narrative real segment based on the information that I have extracted so far?

  It is, but it isn't easy - essentially you must query the tables for a ' where clause ' of the valueset, and then build the rest of the query (IE what actuall or columns were recovered from what table (s)), and then dynamically run - probably need to do as a function of how you are going to use, I thought I would.

  Summary:
  Referring to the documents in points 1 and 2 above, please make sure that "allow dynamic Inserts" is enabled in the key Flexfield

  We have a number of facilities such as a segment in the key flexfield. This was put in place when we went live with one of the companies. Now, we have other companies to come on board.
  
  Therefore, we would like to than the value set for use ' FA: security profile "." According to the profile parameter, flex values will be displayed.
  
  We have implemented a value from array validated using FND_FLEX_VALUES and the saying of WHERE clause:

  Create a security profile to your group of companies include two books of FA and assign this profile to FA: security profile-, you will get the desired results.

  Better, you are referring to the following footnote in Metalink: 11i security white paper [111129.1 ID] that detailed steps to create and assign access to manuals of several assets within the sole responsibility and to restrict access.

• Flexfield investigation point system

  I have been instructed to set the key flexfields for inventory - points system, they need 3 segments for this... more, the value of each depend on the value of the other. For example, segment1 is 00001, segment2 is 00, segment3 is 00. When the value of segment1 maxed out (99999) the nearest segment1 value must be reset to 00001 then segment2 would be incremented to 01. and so on and so forth.
  
  e.g. segment1.segment2.segment3

  Some key flexfields are supported a structure on a global scale (this is the case of the elements or stock Locators) while others (i.e. categories of items) several support structures. So, you can add a new structure in items or stock locators. The only thing you can do is to change the existing structure and only if you don't have transactions in your system to use it. It will be useful.

  Making me GL (accounting flex field), I developed a flex with segment 2 field (office, account) and respective qualifier(balancing_segment,natural_account_segment).i compile the definition and access the form values for giving them .i values set values first office its ok but account value set (account naturacl segment) cannot accept the following value and generating fault
  
  APP-FND-00734: Please enter a valid value for the qualifier segment account Type by using the popup of the qualifying Segment. Or contact your system administrator to set a default value for this segment qualifier in the form of registry key Flexfield.

  However, you can change the title. Just make sure that your custom code does not use the title of anywhere.

I'm on the Structures of work and I'm stuck on the creation of flexfields in Position, rank key flexfield, flexfield Division of costs, people group flexfield, personal key; Analysis flexfield key etc. When I try to create thses fields, the system continually rejects the codes/information I come home, that's why I am nmot know what I can be doing wrong or how even continue buiild thses fields successfully.

  Here we have 3 Structures.

  I want to not show that two Structures (1 and 2) to the responsibility of XXRESP1.

  Hello

  It is indeed possible - the field isn't a flexfield, screen means the OP is the structure of key flexfield definition. You must change the default where clause on this block. Something like the joint will make, however keep in mind this form is shared between all key so flexfields in your State, you should check that the selected flexfield structure is actually the flexfield accounting key just in case you have keyflex one another with the same name of structure than the one you want to hide.

  Of course replace the name of the structure according to your needs.

  

  You can also enable just to responsibilities as appropriate.

  The VALUE_SET entity includes the following detail of value valid table sets and output details special/pair user validated by value sets.   PL identify the navigation path (responsibility and form the name) used to create these safety rules. If the objects are not identified in Doc 735338.1 and MOS MOS Doc 274667.1, then, this capability does not exist as far as I KNOW

  I read the blog and read help and I understand it's possible: loadBytes() must work.

  But when I try to do it I get error (not compiled ActionScript warning).

  And then I found Release Notes with forbidden loadBytes(): unload() and loadBytes () of the class loader methods does not work on iOS

  Where is the real? Why some developres talk it is possible? How?

  As far as I know, this blog from Adobe is the latest and correct information regarding iOS and assets with the code in it.

  So the only SWF that you can load during execution is who you have packed with ADT during packaging.  It's because their ABC are compiled for iOS at the time here, and their code is stored in the IPA.

  If you would load these sovereign wealth funds with a URL local app, like app://assets/level1.swf

  You can load their bytes with the File class (. / assets/level1.swf), then I suppose that loadBytes would work.

  It seems that I read you can decompress the IPA and store these SWF files on a remote server and then load them at run time, and it works.  But the key is that you need to load SWFs that have been packaged with the app, as they have been cross-update for iOS and had their ABC removed and linked into your application.

  All this must be compatible with Apple - all code must have linked at the time of packaging.

  Looks like your key flexfield main has a defined value attached to it.
  The name of the defined value seems to be SMC_CUST/ITEM_NUMBER.
  You can check this by opening the kff to system objects in the responsibility of the inventory.

  You try to create the article number must exist as a value in this set of values.
  See if adding the item number to the value value helps.
