Rim IOS Android Distribution question

Is it possible to distribute built to the employees and customers of a company without a verisign certificate?

What is the best (and cheapest) how?

Thank you

My first mobile versions

For mobile applications you do not use a Verisign key - you use the one that you are provided by Google, Apple or RIM.

For the Android applications: just a link to the file .bar on a protected area of the site.

For applications PlayBook: If your application is intended for a limited number of users, you can either side load the app on their tablet from a PC/Mac, use the sandbox option to give them access to new applications in the App World, or you can publish it in App World and control who can use it via a license server.

In addition, RIM working on a 'corporate' App World, where a company can simply add their own applications private for internal use and control via BES strategies. They have talked about this at the DevCon in November. Not sure of the release date.

For IOS: Don't know, probably something to do with the distribution company options in the App Store.

    Update to 9.3.1 iOS will cause questions to my iPhome 6 and iPod 5th generation

    I have a lot of important things about them that I don't want to lose

    and I can't save them because my computer is broken

    I can't promise anything but through discussions on the forum questions to 9.3.1 vs threads have reported problems for 9.3, there are significantly fewer problems for 3.1 3.

    You can always save things until you do (honestly, it is advisable to always back up your device before installing new software)

    Even with a broken computer you can save things via iCloud, or simply important files to yourself by email or use something like dropbox, of them for download at.

  • Development ios/android game using flash and action script

    I'm completely new to this, I did some research on the use of flash to create ios/android apps, but one thing really confuses me is,

    should I create my game in flash lite or in air? I know swf format is not supported, so I'll leave aside that we...

    If you with air shaped need to install the air application in devices iphone or Android before the game can be played?

    Is - it is not possible to use air for application development using flash?

    Since it's somehow friendly progressive users were invited to download and additional application before any game can be played...

    Thanks for the help in advance...

    You want to use AIR not FlashLite - for iOS, the end-user does not need to install the runtime AIR on Android, they will however. But it's painless...

    You need AIR for Flash applications, but do not publish to the AIR if iOS or Android.

    Be sure to get AIR 2.7 and copy it to 2.6 - CS 5.5 installs with 2.6 that runs much slower on iOS than 2.7

  • How to make Player Mobile (IOS/Android) to fill the shape cells based on the entry in the other cell?

    Hi, is there a way to make Acrobat Reader Mobile (Android/IOS) to fill the shape cells based on entry into another cell?

    I did a time sheet were based on a code entry activity in a description drop-down list box that matches the activity code is displayed automatically in another cell. (see below)

    This works perfectly as long as I'm on a PC, however, does not work on any phone. (I guess that this feature is not yet supported on Acrobat Mobile)

    My question is if anyone can suggest an alternative method for characteristic mentioned that also works on phones?

    Any suggestion would be appreciated

    In the Format field:

    If (Event.willCommit)

    Console.println (Event.value);

    Switch (Event.value)

    case ' 1 01 ":

    this.getField("REMARK1").value = "unloading".

    break;

    case "2 01":

    this.getField("REMARK1").value = "preparing."

    break;

    .

    .

    .

    case "19 44":

    this.getField("REMARK1").value = 'Support-3rd part insp/contract.';

    break;   case "": ""

    this.getField("REMARK1").value = "";

    break;

    }

    }

    Sincerely: Robert

    Try to get rid of this console.println statement. If this does not help, it should work if you convert that from a script from the drop-down list format in a calculation of the field REMARK1 script.

  • How can I disable the bar advertising for Firefox iOS & Android?

    I recently started to see a pop for Firefox iOS and Android advertising when I use Firefox on Windows 7. It takes the form of a notification, just bar below the URL bar read 'bring your bookmarks and passwords with you. Firefox is now on iOS and Android', with a 'Get it now' button and an 'x' to close right (see screenshot attached). I've closed more than once with the 'x' and it keeps popping up (perhaps only once per session, I don't know).

    I would like to get rid of this annoying little announcement. I looked through: config and settings of the ordinary, but I have not been able to find a way to remove it. Adblock Plus doesn't help, of course, because the announcement seems to be integrated into the browser itself. Anyone know how to stop this thing nagging me everytime I open my browser?

    Sorry, this is a message from the heart function. She undergoes a bug right now. Better to turn it off if you can get immediate relief.

    To turn off the heart rate:
    Talk openly about: config config in a tab, then search for browser.selfsupport.url and double click on it and set it to an empty value.

    You may need to restart Firefox for the changes to take effect.

  • LaserJet 4250 iOS Android: Eprint works from iOS, but not Android for 4250.

    Here's the scenario.

    I have an ipad and and 4 Galaxy both attached to the wireless company. There are 2 ethernet attached on the same local network printers. 1 is a 4250 and the all-in-one and another 8600. Two mobile devices have installed eprint.

    The iPad print two printers simply by specifying the IP address.

    The Android device prints to the 8600, but give an "Oops!" -The printer does not exist or you do not have access to this "message after the IP specification.

    The printer firmware is updated to the most recent and all protocols are enabled. There is no set of security.

    I'm trying to print at 4015 returns the same error opps in the Galaxy.

    There must be a difference in application between Apple and Google, or I forget something.

    Hello

    The Laserjet 4250 is not supported by the HP ePrint app, although it can run on iOS to make it work for any printer that is not officially suipported by the app there is no guarantees.

    The application is completely different and work differently on iOS compating Android app.

    You can find any printer supported below:

    http://support.HP.com/lt-en/document/c03722645

    If you have a Kitkat or a later version, you can try to use the Android build in solution, install the Plugin from HP Service of the store and check whether that can allow printing to the 4250:

  • Transfer of files of IOS/Android devices?

    Hi all

    I searched in the user guides and admin, but can't find the answer I'm looking for.

    Using the Windows client, you can choose (when you search for files) browse the local client hard drive that has been mapped through or you may use the reference \\tsclient. What I was wondering, is there the possibility to browse an IOS or Android device (assuming that you sign in with one of these devices) for the files, as you can do with the Windows client?

    Hello

    With Android, you get the option "Redirect readers" that should do exactly what you ask.

    It does resemble the iPad has this feature yet.

  • BlackBerry smartphones, for that I need a few RIM experts answer this question.

    This isn't really a problem of java development, but I'm not expert on the general forum. I arrived there just the other day and a guy was ranting and raving on this is terrible, the storm is compared to the iPhone.

    I have pointed out errors in his way and man, there is a lot of emotion there and a lot of very bored customers.

    I think that I calmed down most of them, but I think more about the inner workings than most, they all ask the same questions.

    The questions are basically, there are 2 main questions.

    1. the phone resets several times a day on its own. No rhyme or reason to it. I have heard of a mission that removing the SIM card algtogether might fix this sometimes. Is there a way to reset your SIM card to the factory settings?

    2. the second problem is more difficult to classify. There might be several problems, but I suspect that there is a big underlying problem. It's that everything is working properly. Things like him taking 2 minutes to take a photo or for the phone record horizontal to vertical. This kind of thing.

    If an expert he can suggest a solution or if there is a known problem that occurs and there is a difficulty, I can relay this back to them.

    One possibility is to clean the memory and restore factory. Is it possible to do so. I know that javaloader ordered a memory wipe. However, I do not know if the State of entire plant is available in EDGE tools that we installed all.

    Or post you here...

    http://supportforums.BlackBerry.com/Rim/Board/message?board.ID=9500&thread.ID=20486&view=by_date_asc...

    Please close it when you did that, then it does not clutter this forum.

    I feel sorry for these guys (those who are not madmen :-) and they need help.)

    Thank you guys.

    We have several storms and they all have the following symptoms:

    After running for about 4 days, the system significantly slows down. You see demonstrations continuous hourglass, which means that the G.C. is overtime. A hard reset Erases (battery pull) the problem for another 4 days.

    Sometimes, the phone becomes hot all of a sudden and burn the battery in about 30 minutes. If it's in your pocket, it is immediately noticeable and you pull the battery to clear up the issue. However, if the phone is, you won't notice. Several times, I put the phone down, then took a phone completely dead (and hot) an hour later. After charging the battery, you must reset the date and restore network connections, while he was REALLY DEAD.

    Now, we have repeatedly stopped all 3rd party programs and the problem is not clear up. We keep waiting for this next OS update that solves problems.

    Harold,

    I need of debugs more to be sure, but it seems that the quick mode ipsec fails (phase 2). Try changing your transformation set to use "transport mode", because I believe that required for l2tp/ipsec.

    If it does not, it should be him debugs full for "debug crypto isakmp" and "debug crypto ipsec".

  • JavaOne 2012: JavaFX on iOS, Android, and Windows 8 Metro?

    Not to mention that of wonderful demos on JavaOne 2012 I'was wondering something big: where's the news from JavaOne on JavaFX (shipped) running on iOS (ready for the AppStore), Android and Windows 8 metro?

    The thing is, in an uncertain future on JavaFX being more than a Swing 2.0 (it is already great, but the range of applications, especially is not very large, as noted earlier in this thread), I don't see a real demand for the companies/commercial.

    Richard asked examples of business needs for JavaFX mobile... but without a strong backup Oracle for JavaFX to mobile, I don't think that a lot of corporate clients will take risks to invest in JavaFX. It is generally an area where a strong supply creates demand and not the other way around: client companies traditional reluctance will be broken only by a strong movement of Oracle first.

    My humble opinion is the following: port JavaFX for Win8, iOS and Android, and you will see global growth in the community of JavaFX, which is in turn to customers and return on investment. But good... Oracle is not less reluctant to take risks by investing first, than any other big corp... That's why I don't see the future so bright for Java on the client. I'd be happy to be disappointed on this one there: Oracle, if please take risks and do not expect demand to come first (we are all here convinced by the potential of JavaFX if given true happiness WORA).

  • Performance: Much worse than iOS Android

    Hello guys,.

    I'm developing a game that uses mainly Starling to view the contents of the game as well as some classic UI DisplayList overlays (I know its not optimal).

    Performance wise the Android app works to the Release mode ~ 10 FPS on my Samsung Galaxy S1 while the iOS app works at ~ 50 FPS on my iPhone 3GS in compilation and ~ 15 FPS in interpreter mode.

    The code is the same on both versions, so I was wondering why the performance on the Samsung is so bad. If anyone has experienced something similar?

    Well I realized what the problem was, and I feel a bit silly about it to be sure

    In Android I'm dynamically loading an external swf asset in order to update any time of my remote server (other than on iOS where I use CFCS). The SWF gfx has about 150 frames on the timeline with all the different means (for the convenience of access in Flash CS). Now when I load the SWF, I never put it on the stage, I get just the necessary classes using getDefinitionByName(). But what I wasn't aware of is that the loaded swf file will loop 150 executives all the time in the background. Thus, each a few frames, a bunch of MovieClips where destroyed and new created. And this has had a significant impact on performance on Android.

    By stopping just the SWF on the first empty frame, I was able to increase performance at about 40 FPS vs 50 FPS on the iPhone 3GS. Given the higher for the Samsung display resolution, I think that it is reasonable.

    I have to say that during the debugging process, FlashDevelop Profiler both Adobe Scout for Android where of great help. And I've learned myself yet another huge lesson in ActionScript

    Thank you

  • Image resized and narrowed down is distorted on ios/android

    It must be something very simple, who do not know. When I proprtionally resize large image and display it on my mobile apps (ios and android), the image is slightly distorted and some smaller texts are a bit difficult to read, or simply doesn't look good... AS3 desktop does not show and appears only on mobile applications what happened. I use remote jpeg loaded as bitmap images and change the width and height, is there something I can do to make it to resize properly? Thank you

    You can try to apply the image smoothing.

    _urlRequest = new URLRequest ("pathtofile");

    _loader = new loader;

    _loader. Load (_urlRequest);

    _loader.addEventListener (IOErrorEvent.IO_ERROR, function(e:IOErrorEvent):void {trace (e)});

    _loader.contentLoaderInfo.addEventListener (Event.Complete, Smooth);

    private void smooth(e:Event) {}

    var bit: image Bitmap = e.target.content;

    If (bit! = null) {}

    bit. Smoothing = true;

    }

    }

  • IOS in 10 questions

    Hello

    upgraded my iPhone more than 6 s to IOS 10 first day of its release. but lately I discovered that when I double tap to close an app, the screen brightness will a little dark and less than a second, it goes to the State of origin. is this normal, or is only on my phone only, see the photo below

    Who should not be the case; have you tried to restart the phone?

    That said, there is no point and no advantage to the closing of applications unless they are badly behave. It actually increases exhaust the battery, because the applications that you closed run anyway, and if you remove them they need reload and reset, that takes a lot of energy.

  • Safari iOS 9.3 questions

    Is there a link between iOS 9.3 and the fact that since the upgrade, I can connect to the internet OK but Safari/Google will not open the pages?

    Many users have noticed the same problem and it seems to be with JavaScript. Go to settings > Safari > scroll down to advanced options > disable JavaScript. This isn't a permanent solution to the problem, because it only affects issues within Safari, but for now it may be useful.
