Salesforce to Eloqua - new created contact

Hello-

We are in the phase of search to Eloqua and Salesforce integration. Our first big question: If a contact is created in Salesforce, they are automatically synchronized to Eloqua? If the contact does not exist in Eloqua, will created a new?

Any useful information that you can send my way to start-up is appreciated.

Thank you

Sam

UPDATE: A class of education Eloqua "System Integrations." He did an amazing job to clear up many of my initial questions on Eloqua and Salesforce integration. Highly recommend!

HI Samantha,

Yes your contacts will be automatically synchronized to Eloqua with the "Auto sync" feature in Eloqua.

Thank you

Rishi

  • lack of < create Contact Sheet II >

    Hello

I am trying to create a contact sheet in CS4 using < file > < controller >, < create Contact Sheet II >

The problem is that < create Contact Sheet II > is missing from the menu drop down. This is the first time I tried this from the download and install of CS4, but I've often done using CS3.

    How find/recover this menu option?

    Thank you

Boards-contacts can be created in Bridge now.

Yes, but they are not satisfactory for many reasons.

You can get the Goodies folder plugins Alumni or download it from the Adobe site.

  • Cloud connector - Contact in Eloqua is created

I'm building a new cloud connector. I have reviewed the following doc http://img.en25.com/Web/Eloqua/EloquaCloudConnectorSampleGuide.pdf

In the above example, the doc assumes that the e-mail address already exists in Eloqua. The cloud connector is used to get the name, the name of the database to Hoover and update Eloqua with her.

I'm working on a connector Cloud will be slightly different from the example above.

Cloud connector will create new contacts in Eloqua.

The use case is as follows. (I call our environment, DB like Hoover)

    1) clients will set up a Webcast directly into our Hoover environment.

    .

    (2) links are sent directly to potential viewers by using Outlook.

    (3) viewers, will register for the event by using the sent URL. They will not go through the Eloqua Reg form.

    (4) customer will execute the webcast.

Note: Eloqua was not used in all cases follow the steps above.

    Now in Eloqua

    (5) customer will create a program generator No. This step would use the cloud connector I build who would get a list of all users who attended the event.

Because Eloqua was not used to send links to the Viewer, the information of Contact/emails from viewers are not present in Eloqua.

Cloud connector will be used to create the contact information of all viewers in Eloqua uses information from Hoover.

    My questions are these.

    1. Can the connector Cloud to create a new contact in Eloqua using data since the Hoover database?
    2. Because the contact does not exist in Eloqua, should I create the contact in Eloqua and define its status as 'Complete' directly?

    Thank you

This will help you answer your questions building Cloud connectors: what type should I build?

  • Connecting Salesforce campaigns Eloqua 10 recipients automatically?

We are past just Eloqua 10, and I wonder how to achieve this goal in the new interface.

Aim: Whenever we send an email campaign, we are all the winners link to a campaign of Salesforce.com (SFDC) (mixing of two leads and contacts in Salesforce).

Bonus: If someone clicks on by a link in the email campaign, it would be nice if their Salesforce campaign member status has been also answered or similar.

Are there features Eloqua, which can help me to do this automatically? (Currently, I create a separate program the program Builder to do this for every campaign Eloqua, which is pretty manual.)

    Thanks for your help!

Additional searches with my customer success and support Eloqua team, it's can be done via closed-loop reporting.  You still need a generator program to program to make integration with CRM in addition to your Web of campaign.  I like the way Chad described how it should work, so I created an idea using many of his ideas... just pop in the campaign ID CRM on the Web of campaign settings window and the set of criteria of response/link to get the campaign Eloqua members be related as campaign members in Salesforce.com.  .

  • BlackBerry Z10 writing new Messages - Contacts combines a Mobile phone number, home

When I chose to compose a text Message and select by a Contact who has multiple phone numbers stored, the phone selects the telephone number of the Contact homepage default rather than their Mobile phone number. I'm doing something wrong?

I did a little experiment, created a group with 1 contact, send a text message to the group, sms went to the house number.

I deleted then house number (which was at the top of the list) then added a new home field. After that the number of publishing house has yet shown on the top of the list, but sms now went to the Mobile number.

  • Create contacts with Aboriginal contact form

    Hello.

I want to be able to redirect a user (after selection of a Menu item) in the form of a 'new Contact' built-in/by default to create a contact. All the links I've read have created the contact by program I want to avoid making. Is it possible to call the 'New Contact' form of my application?

    Thank you!

I may have misunderstood the question, but it seems to me you can call Invoke on the application of contact with an ApplicationArgument AddressBookArgument.

    See javadocs Invoke, ApplicationArgument, AddressBookArgument.

VCF files can be imported into Outlook, where you can import or synchronize with BlackBerry using the BlackBerry Desktop Software.

If you can export or convert these VCF files into a CSV file, you can import the CSV on your BlackBerry using the BlackBerry Desktop Software.

  • Sync blackBerry Smartphones disorder in the new Blackberry contacts

    Hello

I just got a Blackberry Tour 9630 by Verizon.  I tried to transfer all of my contacts (200 +) on my new phone to Verizon's "Backup Assistant" help.  I downloaded the Blackberry Desktop Manager and thanks to the instructions Verizon Backup Assistant managed to get to the point where my contacts are in a csv file, but here's where the problem starts - my laptop is a few months old, and the operating system is Windows 7.  Outlook and Outlook Express, which is what I used to have, is no longer in existence in Windows 7, as I understand it, it's now Windows Live Mail.  I have that set up and it works fine - I have my email provider implemented in it and was able to import my contacts from phone in there, but the instructions to import the csv file backup so that I can sync them are given only for Microsoft Outlook / Outlook Express.  The Blackberry Desktop Messenger does not recognize Windows Live Mail, Outlook just.  I looked everywhere on the internet trying to find a solution to this, if it still exists.  I hope that yes because the thought of having to enter 200 contacts with all their information. handmade isn't a good!

I hope that one of you smart people he understands what I am talking about and can tell me if there is a solution to this (keeping my fingers crossed!).

Thanks in advance, you are your help

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

RIM provides a driving software that works as a bridge between your PIM and the BB, but only compatible PIM for:

    • KB12268 Applications supported by BlackBerry Desktop Manager to synchronize

You are right that the new Win7 Live system is not yet on the list.

However, since you already have your data in a CSV file, you can import that into the BB directly:

    • KB11194 How to import contacts from a CSV file to the BlackBerry

Unfortunately, until (indeed, if) RIM provides support for Win7 Live, you will not be able to use the features of synchronization and need to rather manually import a CSV file into the BB. I hope that you can create a Win7 lives every time.

Good luck and let us know!

I checked this with success in JDev ADF Mobile 11.1.2.4.39.64.64 against XCode 5.0.2 & iOS Simulator 7.0 11.1.2.4.0 and separately 4.2.2 Android API level 17.  It works on both platforms.

Please indicate which versions of platforms and software that you use, you deploy too.  More information the better.  It is also important on iOS when first invited to allow the application to access the contacts on the unit you click Yes.
