Same address Skype on computer and iPad
Is it possible to have the same Skype call details (name, Skype address) on (iMac running Lion) home computer and iPad? (So that people can call me with my Skype name and I can receive on one, and I can use the same monetary credit for calls to the outside for phones). I tried to set up on my new iPad2, but get the message ' we recognize your Skype name and password ' every time. Should the iPad be a separate account?
Bill Emmett
Hello
Yes, it is possible to use the same Skype account on your iPad and computer. Please be aware that in doing so, you may encounter minor account synchronization issues around privacy settings.
Please make sure that you typed your password in the iPad and you use the same keyboard layout on your computer.
If the answer was helpful please give Kudos and if the problem is solved mark with the solution for other users. Thank you!

I have two versions of the same book on my iphone and ipad, which are not synchronized with the other. I want the same book on each device, so I can study on one or the other. I tried to remove the books on my phone, ipad & itunes and start again. It does not work. Help.
Hello david.hogan87,
Thanks for posting about what is happening. If I understand you correctly, you have a book you want on your iPhone and iPad, but neither is synchronizing correctly to have both.
Have you checked every device to confirm that the same identifier Apple is signed all three?
iPhone and iPad: head to settings > iTunes and App Store
iTunes: on a Mac, it's under account or installed depending on the version of iTunes store. On a PC, it is also under account, and if you don't see the menu bar, click on the triangle in the upper left corner to view the Bar Menu or CTRL + B on the keyboard.
If all 3 have the same signed Apple ID, post the version of iOS and iTunes for all three devices here, please.
Best regards.

can I use same address pool of policies and groups of different remote access VPN tunnel
Hi all
I want to create an access remote VPN in ASA different profile. IHAVE a RA vpn already configured to achieve a purpose.
can I use the same ip address pool used to that existing for the new tunnel-group (to avoid adding rotuing on internal devices for new pool) and it is a temporary condition)
Thanks in advance
Shnail
Yes, the local filtering on the SAA will be perfectly fine. My point of view with different pools is based on customer requests where later after some time, the requests came to distinguish the VPN-users group on servers and so on. For another client, I had to implement filtering on an internal firewall where the VPN gateway (which was out of our control) uses a de.100 pool-. 200. And it's a PITA, if the pools are not aligned on subnets.
But anyway, your solution will work.

I had to change the Apple ID due to a new internet provider and the subsequent new e-mail address. My iPhone (5 c/9.3) continually pray for my old user ID password. This is the password I know more knowledge or records. How can I get the iPhone to recognize and use the new Apple ID rather than the old?
What function or service on your phone asking you the code of the older?
If iCloud, you must provide the Apple ID and the password that was used to connect. Call the Apple Support if you can't give it. They may be able to help. You are the original owner of the phone? You have the invoice/proof of purchase?
Any service can be disconnected and then again.

Loss of connection wifi on iPhone and iPad Mini
A recent issue, it's that I keep losing wifi connection at the same time on my iPhone and iPad Mini, but not on my MacBook Pro. All three are in the same room with Time Machine and SB 6141 modem. Any suggestions?
Is the unstable WiFi other places too? IOW if you go to a coffee - can the iDevices contain a wifi connection?

I have a computer in my summer residence and one to my winter home. They both run Thunderbird for my emails. When I move one residence for others, I want to update my address book Thunderbird. I do it by selecting - address book - tools - export, on the ' old computer ', store them on a memory stick, and paste _ address book - tools - import, the new address to load the list from memory. It works, except that the address of old and new lists are separate lists. I would like to combine them, but without the duplication of the same addresses. Is this possible? How can I do this?

Error message "another computer on the network has the same IP address as this computer. Contact you network administrator for help resolving this issue. More details are available in the Windows system event log"
Does anyone have a simple way (for a dummy) to solve this. If I disconnect my wireless router and laptop and turn the two again this sorts the problem temporarily, but it does not provide a definitive solution. I use a new laptop and my old one has been scrapped, so I do not know whence this 'conflict '. My old laptop had Windows XP operating system and my new Windows 7. I hope that someone can provide a solution to this annoying problem.
Hi Figgerty,
have you tried these steps?

Why Apple does not provide a 10W for I pad air 2 charger when the barn of the computer and hundreds of people on the web say that the 10 W does not work and it takes a 12 W charger. Burning of the computer told me that Apple has changed their software on the iPad and now requires a 12 W charger.
So you're claiming Apple is selling iPads with a charger that doesn't work?
A charger 10W works perfectly well. A 12W charger can be slightly faster to load under certain conditions.
