'Send to Premiere Pro' is greyed out

"Send to Premiere Pro" Option is grayed out for my clips in prelude, does anyone know a possible reason? THX!

Thanks for the post.

What version of prelude do you use? If you use Prelude CC 2014, please make sure that you have installed first Pro CC 2014.

  • How to get the double mono audio when sending prelude Roughcut to Premiere Pro?

Can someone please tell me how to send a first Assembly of first mono audio with dual prelude?

I have pictures with dual mono audio.

I did my first editing of subitems in prelude.

I right click and choose send to Premiere Pro.

In Premiere Pro, I get my complete clips and the sequence.

The sequence is stereo, but I need it to be dual mono.

I can right click and change the individual clips in Premiere Pro in mono, but they do not affect the sequence.

I got mono preferences Premiere Pro to import audio data regardless of the source. This does not seem to do anything.

I can't find anything as a prelude to double mono audio export.

    Help, please!

    HI -.

The only way I found to do what you ask for is:

    1. prepare your Rough Cut in the prelude and send it to the first

    2. once in the first, I copied my audio track 1 audio (stereo) and copied in 2 Audio and Audio 3 (in duplicate)

    • Note: I had to create two additional audio tracks to the sequence in PR. I upgraded them.

    3. right click on the Audio 2 clip and select "Audio channels...". "in the context menu

4 uncheck the RIGHT way - so all you have is the LEFT channel enabled for this audio track

    5. pass Audio 3 and repeat steps 3 + 4 above, but this time clear the RIGHT channel in the dialog box "Audio channels...". ».

    6. cut the Audio track 1

I realize that it is a manual process. We hope to provide a better solution, go ahead - be able to modify dynamically the Audio settings of sequence for example would have toured here - but of course that option does not exist currently.

    Kind regards

  • Adobe Media Encoder CC won't let me import a specific sequence of Premiere Pro

I'm on a trial version of Adobe Media Encoder CC. I try to import a Premiere Pro sequence (I have an old version 2.0) and it won't let me choose a specific sequence within the project, it will let me only import the first sequence. The dialog box sequence which is supposed to open when I select 'Import first Pro Sequence' under 'File' does not, let me only to select a project and will then automatically import the first sequence for this project. The box in the preferences for "Import sequences of natively" under Premiere Pro is grayed out and I can't seem to change, which is what I apparently have to do to activate dynamic links. However, I think that it is possible that either the trial version doesn't let me do, or my first version is just too old and there is a mismatch.

You must have a newer version of Premiere Pro to use dynamic linking.  The versions of Premiere Pro and SOUL should be of the same generation.

  • Premiere Pro CC 2015 video / Audio won't play - Out-of-Sync Audio and video clock errors

After the installation of Premiere Pro CC 2015 I am unable to actually play my video in the timeline.

I must point out that the same video and audio files accurate work perfectly in my previous version of CC 2014.

Usually when I hit the play button nothing will happen and then after a time it will stutter back and fourth between a small loop (no audio present) and give an error that says "clock Audio and video out-of-sync (instead of time) in"Adobe Player.

I tried full uninstall and reinstall Premiere Pro CC software 2015 without success. I also tried to delete all the preferences of Premiere Pro to my settings user without success. I should also mention that after effects CC 2015 is oddly also often send me errors do not have enough executives, so I'm not sure if they are related. Once more, the CC 2014 version works perfectly.

For reference the video file is a .avi with Xvid compression and sound is a .wav. These have always been used exactly the same with CC in 2014 without problem.

I also ran a full virus and malware scan just in case for some strange reason, that was at fault, and I ran into zero issues. Media Encoder, Photoshop, and Illustrator CC 2015 that all seem to work great.

  • Send transcoded clip in Premiere Pro with audio Mono

    Hello

I noticed that others have asked this question around August 2013 but haven't seen the progress made on this issue, which is that we prefer to edit in Premiere pro with mono audio tracks, but we are unable to transcoded material to come with audio mono prelude.

We need to have total control over our audio tracks and for us in an environment News/FRA, which also means the production of early recovery.  So we want to choose the part of the clip XDCAM what we want as a prelude, send it to Premiere Pro and laid the grabbing of the interview (for example) on track 1 of the timeline with only talent audio mike (which has been recorded on the channel of the camera 1) and must not pan it or worry about making big thing to her.  Then, we cut the rest of the overlay with sound effects that are recorded on the channel 2 go directly to the track 2 on the timeline.  When transmit us to Headquarters that we send them two discrete audio channels: talent/VO on channel 1 and channel 2 effects.

We have only one problem when transcoding is involved.  With the audio preferences in PrPro 'Mono', everything is fine, it's just that when prelude to transcode a video makes the audio a hassle for us, because it can only come to PrPro as a stereo audio track.

Adobe, he's never going to be the ability to just a prelude preference to send audio with Mono clips, as there are in Premiere Pro?

Or someone has figured this out, and miss me him just something?

In Adobe Media Encoder, set up a new preset that has the video and audio parameters, you want to have your images transcoded for source:

Then name and save this preset. The next time that you start the prelude, the preset will be an option to choose to use for transcoding of your hardware.

  • Why is 'Edit in Audition' greyed in Premiere Pro and After Effects?

Since the launch of CC 2014 option in Premiere Pro and After Effects to 'Edit in Audition' is grayed out. Right-clicking on a clip in Premiere Pro is not an option for hearing. I can't send my compositions, sequences or clips to Audition for audio editing. I contacted Adobe Support staff earlier this evening. They suggested to go to my Mac system preferences and allow the root user, log out of my account, connect to the root user, stop and start in safe mode. None of these scenarios worked. He is always grayed out in the two user accounts.

Is this a known issue? I even uninstalled and reinstalled the hearing. Still nothing. All my Adobe apps are updated. My Mac is updated. Yet once, never had this problem before.

    I'd appreciate any help!

    Thank you!

    See you soon,.

    Evan Lockhart

I may have an answer for you, but do not know if my resolution will work for Macs.

First of all, here is my system and the initial info. I use a work computer, OS is Windows 7. I've just upgraded to Adobe CC 2014 a week ago, and I also uninstalled previous versions of all my programs creative cloud after installing new versions (CC 2014 is not simply to update the previous version, it installs a new program and does automatically uninstall previous programs of CC). Not sure whether to for this resolution to work the uninstall.

In any case, after I installed first Pro CC 2014 and 2014 CC hearing, the Clip edit in Adobe Audition command was available in the Edition in the Menu bar menu, but has been disabled in the context menu to the sequence (for the context menu, it was visible, but gray and disabled). When I tried to use the command in the Edit menu in the Menu bar, he gave me a dialog box fill and it has created a new folder (called "Adobe Audition to Exchange"). So, the command, when selected from the 'Edit' menu has obviously uses a different process from the command in the context menu. Anyway, I didn't want a new record created, or to fill a dialog, I wanted to just behave like he used to. In fact, when I right click on the sequence and select Edit Clip in Adobe Audition on the shortcut menu, it just opens the hearing and the audio waveform is visible.

I was able to solve this problem and get the right click command works by reading a few articles on this same issue of Adobe CC (not CC 2014) and those to help understand how to solve this problem in Adobe CC 2014.

    Here's what I did:

    • I had to find my .sesx files in my system. They are NOT in the same place, as they were for the previous version of the CC (at least, they were not for me). I had to use the command search and find extensions of .sesx to locate.
    • Found under the path C: > users > Public > Public Documents > Adobe > hearing > 7.0 > model Session. Note that (for me), there is a folder called 6.0 at the same level as the record of 7.0 . I selected the 7.0 folder this folder contained the most recent set of files of .sesx. I checked the folder 6.0 and those are the .sesx of the previous version files, so I deleted this folder as a cleaning step.
    • I clicked on one of the. sesx files in the folder Templates of Session chosen then Open with on the shortcut menu. The Open with dialog box displays and provides a list of programs.
    • I selected Adobe Audition CC 2014 of the list of programs (you may need to browse to find it) and always use the selected program to open this type of fileselected. I then clicked on OK to submit the order of configuration and close the Open with dialog box.
    • I rebooted first Pro CC 2014 and the Clip edit in Adobe Audition command is now enabled in the context menu and worked properly.
    • I cried with joy... OK, not really, but I'm still peeved at ridiculous regression errors and lack of extensive testing of new versions of the software, so I'm glad the frustrating problems.

Don't know if this will help you, or if you already solved your problem. Whatever it is, good luck!

  • Premiere Pro creates new after effects project sending clips to AE?

When you create a new composition in After Effects to clips on the timeline, Premiere Pro works perfectly well. Send clips to a new composition, the same project After Effects. All is well and good. Until I got close After Effects or Premiere. Then, when that I raise, clips in After Effects in a new composition, Premiere Pro sent something strange. Even if I reopen the project I was working on, no matter what, Premiere Pro sent clips to a new project and not send them to the one currently open. Does anyone have any kind of reasons as to why?

    Hi Instrud:

Just to clarify: when you continue to work, After Effects is open with the file to current project open AE and Premiere Pro is open with the file to current project plans open as well.  Then, when you choose "Replace with After Effects Composition" your Pro first sequence, the current project of AE closes and starts a new AE project.

All of which is managed by dynamic link and clearly something is off.

I got to one of two things:

    • Begin a conversation with Adobe support to check that everything is installed and configured correctly on your system.
    • Uninstall the two Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects and then reinstall them (something Adobe support would you anyway).

You can have many compositions of AE related dynamically in a Premiere Pro sequence. Just select an item (or multiple clips) in the Assembly of the sequence, right-click, then choose replace with After Effects Composition.

Note: this is not how I would do, but that's what you ask and a lot of people do it this way.

I just usually copy and paste clips from first in an AE project, working on it in AE and then make it in an intermediate codec in AE render queue and bring back the file obtained in the first.

I don't know what you mean by that.

Again, I'm not quite clear on what you're asking. You can certainly do AE work and drop it in your Premiere Pro sequence.

I'm not sure. Move your time indicator current far in your composition.
