  I tried for hours to get a look on my mobile application view and had no luck.  When I run the application, the image I use completely covers the screen and all the parts I have in view.

  Here is part of the Mobile App .mxml file just in case it is useful to all:

  In the pre-release version of MAX view extends group and has no skin, but in the view latest prolonged SkinnableContainer now so you can skin directly the view.  Is that what helps what you're trying to do?

  I created a PSD file is a basic model for a set of icons that I've created.  The model is composed of several layers.  I want to open the creative cloud file and add a new layer which is a PSD file that is stored in both CC and then save the template under a new name and start over.  Sometimes I want to turn on or turn off a layer in the model.  What is the best mobile application to achieve this?

• In Lightroom for mobile, how to get back to show images less.

  In the segmented view, sorted by year, it shows some pictures and the last of them was a sign + on this topic (with the number of other images) to show to the rest. Once I press on the + sign, show all of the photos for this year. That's very nice, but I can't go back to showing images less.

  Is there a way?

• Photos app stopped to show images of shared folders

  My apps IdeaPad and EasyCrop save pictures in the shared documents folder. But the latest OS update 1.0.5 in my PlayBook does not show all pictures stored in shared folders.

  I tried to put in other shared folders (shared/photos) etc., but the photos app does not display all images saved from third-party applications.

  However, when Browse dialog opens to load the image, it displays all pictures stored in the shared folders.

  Everyone experienced up to now?

  If you have a PlayBook with last update, can you please try EasyCrop or any other free image utility to save an image and try to view in photos app?

  Okay, I finally found what was wrong.

  The updated OS 1.0.5.2342 have some changes in the mapped file APIs.

  File.documentsDirectory and File.desktopDirectory now points to the same folder "documents" on real PlayBook device.

  The last API docs v1.0.1 is incorrect. File.desktopDirectory is assumed to point to the "root" of work-sharing files.

  My applications used File.documentsDirectory to save the images. But the app photos in previous versions was showing images in the documents folder as well. In the last update, it stopped showing images in the documents folder.

  Now I've just updated my application to use File.userDirectory which now points to the root of the working folder. And now I'm able to save to the shared folder / photos.

  Save the actions/pictures folder now shows in the photos app.

  I'm now confused if I should download new versions of my applications to use this mapping has changed or I should wait for RIM fix this bad mapping.

  I tried to configure security for a native application of the ADF Mobile.

  Security in the ADF Mobile native application is configured using the files below-

  • adfmf-application.xml
  • adfmf-feature.xml

  I selected "remote" option under 'Security tab' for a feature. I have also assigned a role under the 'Constraint' tab for the same feature.

  "Now in the.adfmf-application.xml' file, under the 'security' tab I have defined a connection to my OID( Oracle Internet directory) instance by providing the Login, Logout URLs and provided 'JSESSIONID' as the value for Cookies option. I tested the connection and it shows connection successful.

  Now, on the authorization tab, I provide the URL "access control", but I couldn't find any "URL access control" for the OID (Oracle Internet directory).

  Can someone let me know where to find the URL "access control" for OID or how to form the same?

  If you read the documentation, then he said:

• Participants cannot view video pods through the mobile application

  My participants indicate that they are unable to watch the videos we play during our demonstrations.  Video pods are supported through the iOS app?  If so, are there specific measures I need to do to make them work for my presence?

  For the videos to work in the mobile application, they must be FLV videos. I know it's against intuitive, but the videos to MP4 will show just as content not supported.

  Hi, new mobile applications CC I received emails on today look great, but when will see us android versions?

  Get a rating 4 Galaxy this week and relay want these applications. It seems a bit of a bad shot and make them only available to apple users. I understand the devs are working on room light mobile for android, but at least give us droid users any word on what is planned out and maybe even some rugged time.

• Some Notes after completing my first Mobile application...

  I just finished my first mobile application with Flash Builder Burrito AIR.  It took me a little over 3 weeks.  Even though I'm an experienced programmer, I had no experience with Flash Builder, AIR, ActionScript, etc.  If so, I could fall out this app in a week!  I am very impressed with the ease of development compared to some other platforms I have developed on (native Android, webOS, titanium and a few others).  That said, I ran into a number of issues that I believe, if properly addressed, would be very beneficial for developers, users and the platform as a whole (so I hope that Adobe employees visit this post and read on!).

  
  

  Forms and fields

  
  

  Support for the forms could be much better.  Any questions I have met, those related to fields of form took longer time to resolve that any other.  Three Markdown really however...

  
  

  1. There is a kind of property "placeholderText" which displays its value within a field unfinished (gray part preference).  When the user clicks in the text field should disappear.  If the user leaves the field without entering anything, it should reappear.  This will cancel the need for labels they are currently used, save precious screen space.  It was not difficult to write a function that does this, but it's something that should be built in.
  2. Form validation tools are essential!  There should be a way to test & flag common types of fields that are not filled correctly (single currency, numeric, text, email, etc.). Built in functions that do this would save developers time.  I created my own, but I have not found a way to change the background or color of the text fields on the fly.  Instead I just asked the user without bringing out the specific areas.  This may be due to my inexperience with this platform, but once again, it is something that developers should not have to reinvent the wheel with over and over again.
  3. There should be a way to specify which keyboard is displayed whenever a field is selected.  For example, if I know that the user enters a zip code and then a keypad should display.  There are a multitude of available keyboards, but the ability to switch between text and digital should be the bare minimum.
