Size of the text in the textfield AutoResize

Hello

I have a list of best scores on my next game (Flash cs 5.5)

I did textfields (taken from the graphical user interface).

The names on the list of the best scores may be up to 20 characters. But if one is written with capital letters, the text does not fit into the TextField.

I tried a few samples on the net, but I did not make them work.

I got this code as soon as possible, but it would be nice to use on each name of best scores maximum font size.

hs_1.setTextFormat (myFormat);

If (countUpperCaseChars (hs_2.Text) > 12)
{
myFormat.Size = 15;
}
on the other
{
myFormat.Size = 18;
}

A tip?

Dan

Finally got it working with this:

hs_1.AutoSize = TextFieldAutoSize.Left;

myFormat.Size = 50;

so that {(hs_1.textWidth > 320)

-myFormat.Size;

hs_1.setTextFormat (myFormat);

}

    I have a relatively simple form for clients to create the stationery business (visit/comp card slip) for themselves, to then send our printing Department

    It is built as follows:

    Page 1 Instruction, business cards and samples of model sheet, the client fills text fields and a button to save/email

    Page 2 is a sheet A4 10 subforms, a copy of the original card on Page 1

    Page 3 is a sheet A4 3 subforms a copy of the original model on Page 1 sheet

    My 3-page PDF file is 3 MB, with a total of 119 KB of images embedded in the file. During the re-creation from scratch, I noticed that when I edit the textfield object to a specific size, to remove the legend, change font, etc., the size of the file increases. Only a single text field treated as this added an another 400 KB of the size of my file.

    I am following the format of a similar form that has as much information (maybe more), and this file, over 2 pages, total not more than 800 KB. There are several text fields for the customer to add their details.

    It may be the police that you changed in your field. Try to use as little of different fonts as possible. Otherwise, if it's a popular font that you are using you can remove the option of them be incorporated into the form. File > properties > Save Options and uncheck the box embedded fonts.

  • Can I get the size of the decent text everywhere?

    Including system menus, applications on opening without zooming, etc.. ?

    I use a size of minimum font in Firefox, of course, but I need a solution in the world.

    I have been using the reduced resolution settings, but they blur text and cause spacing and make bugs. I can't use the zoom options for accessibility, because the zoom and other animation often triggers my migraines. I had my eyes checked last year.

    Hello Marja, e.

    Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.

    I see that you want to change the appearance of text on your MacBook to make it easier to see what is on your screen. I understand how difficult it can be to not be able to see the items on your Mac, as well as it should. I often have to change the settings for appearance on my MacBook as well. Let's see how I can help out.

    See the article OS X El Capitan: make it easier to see what's on the screen, more precisely, these sections:

    Change the appearance of the desktop

    Make the less transparent office: menu choose Apple > System Preferences, click Accessibility, click view, and then select "Reduce transparency." The transparent areas of the gray became windows desktop and app.

    Choose an image from the office with less colors or forms: menu choose Apple > System Preferences, click Desktop & screen saver, click Desktop, browse folders of photo on the left, then select a less crowded picture or a solid on the right color.

    Making darker borders: choose the Apple menu > System Preferences, click Accessibility, click view, and then select 'increase the contrast. OS X automatically reduces transparency and makes the borders of buttons, boxes, and other elements more visible on-screen.

    Increase the size of the cursor: menu choose Apple > System Preferences, click Accessibility, click view, and then move the cursor size slider to the right that you need.

    Make icons and other larger items

    Increase the size of icons and the desktop icon text: control-click on the desktop, choose Show Options, then move "Icon size" slider to the right. Click on the drop down menu "Text size", then choose a text size.

    Increase the size of the icons and icon text in a folder from the Finder: select the folder in the Finder, and then choose View > View Options. The view you are using for the folder determines how to increase size.

    • To display the icon, move "Icon size" slider to the right. Click on the drop down menu "Text size", then choose a text size.

    • For a list or Cover Flow view, select the size of icon to the right of "size of the icon. Click on the drop down menu "Text size", then choose a text size.

    • For the display of the column, click the drop-down menu "Text size", then choose a text size. You can't choose a size from icon.

    Increase the size of items in the Finder and Mail boxes: menu choose Apple > System Preferences, click general, click on the drop down menu "Sidebar icon size", then choose wide.

    I would like to be able to increase the size of the text on the home page. I don't know how to do this. Thank you

    Hold down the CTRL key and use your mouse wheel. Scroll up will increase the font size, down will decrease. Alternatively, you can use the main menu and click on view-> Zoom to set the zoom level. If you do not have your main menu enabled in Firefox 4, you can turn it on by selecting the Firefox menu at the top left of your window of Firefox, then Options and check "menu bar".

  • 2 questions - run as administriator & change in the size of the text

    Hi all!

    I've developed software with CVI, could you please answer 2 questions?

    1. when I install on other computers, the text messages different looks (the police expanded) and in my computer, it seems. I think that happens when you choose to change the text size in windows thorugh: Panel-> apperance and customizations-> medium(125%)/large(150%) instead of hail (default 100%). Prevent the change in the size of the text in the panels?

    2. on other computers the software could not create a file for writing, unless a throw with the option "Run as administriator". Why?

    I hope you understood my questions, thank you!

    Depending on the size of the text is concerned, if you do not use one of the metafonts predefined for your labels and the text of the control, you shouldn't have this problem. The metafonts are designed to take on the characteristics (in size and style), the default settings of the computer where you run your program. Furthermore, by default, all new controls that you create using one of these metafonts, specifically NIDialogMetaFont, which is an alias for a variable size font which can become more or less important depending on the settings of the computer.

    To avoid this, you can change melting completely to something else (Arial, etc.), or you can even keep the same font, but make sure that you choose a different size that will result by it is not not the metafont predefined. For example, in my computer, if I use the point size 11, I use the metafont. But if I change the size of point to something else, then I don't want to, and that its size in points then remains the same in any computer.

    Size 11 (metafont):

    Size 12 (no metafont):
