Some videos do not play when 'Block all information on this computer storage sites' is selected

I have CS5 installed on my Mac, running OS X Lion 10.7.5 i. Using Firefox, I had problems with Adobe TV and the other educational video, however some of the video promoting the new products don't work (not all), but when I right click the menu gives me an option that tells flash player 11. anything that works. I uninstalled and reinstalled the version provided with my CS5 Design Premium, only to be told that I have to update my flash player, when I then even that nothing happens again to play the video.

I can however run the video on my iPad 2 with Safari, have not put up, but with Firefox. It becomes a real pain to make room on my desk to see two screens so that I can use the tutorials, videos and advice while working on various programs. I checked all questions in the forum who have something close to my problem to solve the problem. Unfortuately none of the suggestions posted so far have helped.

If anyone has any other suggestions for me, I would be really grateful.

Thank you very much, Tess.

Thanks for the update.  I shifted to its own thread and assigned a more descriptive title to make it easier for others to discover when looking for the forums.

The video player on the Web site that you are using is not loaded in the case where the local storage is disabled in Flash.

If you select "Ask Me before allowing new sites to save information about this computer", you will get a prompt when a website wants to store information on your computer.

If you choose 'Block all information on this computer storage sites', we never go to display a command prompt.  This can cause some content that depends on storage local to fail in unpredictable ways.

None of these options are really has a good user experience, but is provided to give people a granular control over their privacy options.

Flash Player private ways or modes of navigation Incognito on major browsers.  In this case, Flash will store information in a temporary directory for the duration of your browsing session, but all this information is ignored when you exit the navigation mode private or incognito.  For most users, this is the way to go.  Advertisers cannot use Flash Player to keep chips that identifies you uniquely for several sessions of navigation, but you provide Flash content that depends on access to local storage with the ability to function normally.

Thank you!

  • Video will not play on all Adobe Web sites

Www.tv.adobe.com and www.adobeforacademics.com videos will not play. I see is "500: internal server error".

Why is this happening and how can I solve this problem?

I checked with HER and none of the Adobe sites are blocked and I have the latest Flash installed on the latest version of Chrome.

    Thanks for your help!

HTTP 500 is an internal server error.  It seems that our IT people have corrected the problem, as I am no longer see it.

If the problem persists, it may have something to do with cookies, or a third-party add-on (maybe a blocking ads or plug-in privacy?) which is causing some information on the State of the site to get deleted or corrupted.  You can try to delete your cookies or using the incognito private browsing mode to see if the problem goes away.

  • embedded videos will not play

Combination of problems started recently (about a month I guess), at the same time:
    1. embedded videos will not play (for example. Facebook, CNN). I can hear the sound but the picture is black with sparkles casual video
    2. I have a lag when I type. Applies when I'm looking, web addresses of Scripture, and when I fill out forms like this
    3. when I type in the box search or Firefox address, I see a blue rectangle where I type.

I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox, no difference. I'm running Windows 7 on a Dell XPS 15Z, 64-bit. Using the antivirus Avast and Adblocker Plus (I disabled that, has not made a difference). Can't think of everything that happened at the same time, these problems started, for example. I have not installed (knowingly) all new software

There is a free feature that was originally black web pages, but there have been updates to block graphics drivers that were affected. I would first check to make sure that your graphics drivers are up to date. Update your graphics drivers to use hardware acceleration and WebGL

    2. I'm experiencing a lag when I type. Applies when I'm searching, writing web addresses, and when I'm filling out forms like this one

Since there is a lag when you type, I suspect two things: the feature that remembers the form content is too large or that a running script can be consumes resources on your computer. Please check to make sure that all your add ons and plugins are up to date: https://www.mozilla.org/plugincheck/

  • MP4 video does not play in Firefox 35.0.1

Some of my MP4 videos do not play in Firefox. They worked very well last week. Now, I get the message "Video cannot be played because the file is corrupted. The video works fine in IE, Chrome, Opera, Safari

I use Firefox with 4 profiles. One of them had problem work mp4. When I opened http://www.quirksmode.org/html5/videos/big_buck_bunny.mp4 mp4 it says "Video cannot be played because the file is corrupted.".

After I compared the two profiles prefs.js files, I saw that "media - media.windows - foundation.enabled" was false. I opened Subject: config and reset "media.windows - media - foundation.enabled. After restarting Firefox http://www.quirksmode.org/html5/videos/big_buck_bunny.mp4 works perfectly.

  • Can Windows Media Player XP play MTS file type? I tried, but the video does not play smoothly. Is this fix really?

I tried, but the video does not play smoothly.  Is this fix really?

There is a possibility that Windows Media Player could
read the file if you rename the MTS to MPG or AVI.

And/or...the suite of freeware Media Player can be
    worth a try.

(FWIW... it's always a good idea to create a system)
Restore point before installing software or updates)

    Media Player Classic Home Cinema
    http://MajorGeeks.com/Media_Player_Classic_Home_Cinema_d6213.html
    (works on XP/Vista/7)
(The name of the file to download is: "MPC - HomeCinema.1.5.2.3456.x 86 .exe ')

If this fails, it may be worth trying to convert the MTS file
    WMV format:

There are many converters available on the net... some
    free... some detail.

The following freeware converters are a few examples:

(FWIW... it's always a good idea to create a system)
Restore point before installing software or updates)

    (1) Sothink Free Video Converter
    http://www.Sothinkmedia.com/video-converter/
    (Windows XP / Vista / 7)

You will need to unzip the file... or you could just drag
the Setup.exe from the file out of the folder and drop it on your
    desktop and install from there.

Once installed... Open Sothink and go to... Add the files button...
Find and select the clips you want to convert.

Next... in the encoding settings... Choose... Video credits.
WMV - Windows Media Video (*.wmv).

Choose an output folder and on the left, click on the button convert.

You can experiment with other settings later but
This should help you get started.

    (2) format Factory (freeware)
    http://www.videohelp.com/tools/Format_Factory
    (the 'direct link' is faster)
(the file you want to download is: > FFSetup270.zip<>
    (FWIW... installation..., you can uncheck
('all' boxes on the last screen)
    (Windows XP / Vista / 7)

First, you will need to decompress the file or just open the
Drag FFSetup270.exe out of the folder
and drop it on your desktop. To install left click.

Next, after the download and installation of Format
Factory... you can open the program and
left click on the toolbar, the "Option" button and
"Select an output folder to" / apply / OK.
(this is where you find your files after they)
    are converted)

Drag and drop your video clips on the main screen...

Select "all to WMV" / OK...

Click on... Beginning... in the toolbar...

    That should do it...

  • Video does not play in Adobe Content Viewer App if offline

    Hello world!

I integrated into my folio of videos and when tested on Adobe Content Viewer, they do seem to work if I'm not connected to the internet.

I tried to generate items jpg and pdf, no change.

I tried to place the video first and qualifying with a button, without change.

I tried a simple video overlay, no change.

All of these work very well if I'm online, do not work if my wi - fi is disabled.

Anyone facing the same problem or has a solution?

    Thank you!

It's the same problem reported in this thread: videos do not play in application in the Adobe viewer offline. We're investigating.

  • An embedded MP4 does not play when published as swf.

An embedded MP4 does not play when published as swf.  The PlayBar is where. The swf embedded on the page works OK. I downloaded all the files generated to the Web site. Any ideas?

I have not used the program for a while, so I'm a little rusty and I just know Captivate 8, so I hope I'm just something stupid. Oh yes, when I first publish and choose to view the project, he plays. If something must be different when it's moving online?

And here is the link. I'm probably going to replace the voice to mine. My husband says that he looks like Siri and it really bugs. Mine is not great, but he assures me sound better than automated.

Make sure your video file is all characters lowercase and without spaces or punctuation characters.

Check that your site administrator has set the video as a type of authorized file mime type.

Link to the file that Captivate HTM publishes and not to the SWF that you did in the above link.

Make sure that all THE published files have been downloaded successfully to the web site, including the video file.

  • Videos will not play if Adobe Flash is installed

I've always used Adobe Flash and never had a problem with it.  When I installed the latest version several months ago, I discovered that videos would not play at all. It's not fair, You Tube either; This is a site I visit. Six months of treaty which was too good, so I uninstalled, went online to look for an alternative and guess what? Playback of videos very well at MOST sites.  Others say that I need to install Flash Player.

It is confusing, especially since I have no idea why this is happening. At the moment I haven't installed Flash, but I need to solve this problem. Any help would be appreciated regarding ideas, recommendations etc. Thank you.

YouTube is almost finished with the move to HTML5 (MP4). The reason thay did it must be accessible to viewers to phone and a tablet that cannot use Flash. JavaScript in their pages determines whether a browser has Flash Player, and if it isn't, the page will display the video in HTML5. That's why you see what you're doing here. NOT all websites have done however. Yahoo working on it, just like Hulu, Dailymotion and others. NetFlix is spent reading, which causes its own problems, if you have not INSTALLED SilverLight.

Add to this mix, Microsoft has published (without any "real world" test) IE 11 almost two months (October 18) and it has been a nightmare to say the least. Pages/Sites do not recognize because they threw a code in it, and... If a page or site may not recognize the browser, he certainly does not plug-ins that it uses. No problem for the HTML5 video that does not require the player, but Facebook Pogo games and many other Flash sites require a browser and plug-in that the code acknowledges.

    Is your browser accidentally IE11?

  • Presentation videos do not play via the http address

    Hello

I have a presentation test that works perfectly if I publish on our Connect Server and although I directly start the file index.htm or knock on a well-read reader (G:\content\presentation\index.htm), but the videos specifically do not work when I try to access this same location of presentation as an http path. The location is the same, but using the above example, I want to share the link to something like:

    http://www.ExampleServer.com/presentation/index.htm

Slide to play, but the videos are not. The cleaning brush runs correctly, the presentation and slide lengths are all correct... but all video content, slides and framed, are missing. Everyone knows this? I'd like advice.

When running an offline environment, the video is not streamed (i.e. the Communication Server is not used).
The flv file is directly accessible via http (port 80).

You can open /data/viewer.xml the name of the flv file.

Check if you can directly access / data/resources/ from the browser?
