Sony Vaio SVE14A35CHX keyboard option missing in Vaio Control Center

Hey,.

I recently did a new install of Windows 8, everything wiped and installed 64-bit Windows 8. I also bought a new keyboard that has backlit keys. I know that the work of backlight, because when I force shut down the computer, just after it stops, the backlight turns on and stays on for a few seconds.

I downloaded all the necessary drivers, put them on my USB and them installed on the laptop. I installed the driver to monitor the shared libraries after installation of all others and then installed the original Vaio Control Center and installed all updates for Vaio Control Center in page drivers.

I have all the options, but I don't have the keyboard backlight option in Vaio Control Center.

I spent hours searching the Web, but nothing helped. I know the works of backlight. This lights in the dark. It lights up for a brief moment on the power key to go to sleep. I don't know why this laptop does this.

I checked then double the backlight flex cable is securley connected, and it is. There are no other problems with this other than the backlight on the keyboard.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

I really appreciate the help guys gave me. I don't really have.

I solved it I just give up and ordering a new keyboard. Installed myself. The problem solved itself as if by magic. However, the old keyboard, the backlight works in my friend's computer vaio.

I downloaded the Center control VAIO repeatedly without success!

In fact, I might have a solution for you. I uninstalled Control center and 3 different drivers/applications installed and reinstalled Vaio Control Center and I finally got my return options. My problem was especially the keyboard backlight, too.
    So here it is:
By salon owners of Sony (http://forum.notebookreview.com/sony-owners-lounge-forum/668781-official-new-svz-z-series-owners-lounge-125.html), download and install the following drivers (excerpt from the Sony European support site):

Then, install the Sony shared library - http://esupport.sony.com/US/p/swu-download.pl?mdl=SVT13116FXS&upd_id=7507&os_group_id=6

After all this, reinstall Vaio Control Center.
The order may be important, if not, at least the control center must be installed LAST.
Please note that I have a Vaio SVS151290X and all these drivers come from other models because they are not available on the support page of my model, but I finally got my Control Center to be fully functional.
    Good luck

  • Update 6.0.12.05100 - VAIO control center 8.1 upgrade

    Hello

I bought a used Vaio SVE17127CXB, my first laptop from Sony, but see vesuserproxy.exe crashes every day.

I tried to uninstall via Windows uninstaller - a partial mess VESU. Then, I followed a few VESU uninstall instructions on this forum to uninstall via VAIOCare, they didn't take me to a place to do. Self heal has been no help, VIAOUpdate said there is no new update.

Machine has ALREADY 8.1, and I see that the upgrade should have been done before this upgrade.

I have no way to roll back to 8.0 so how do in this situation of double jeapardy?

    Thank you

  • VAIO Control Center and VAIO Care

I have a SVS1512DCXB Sony Vaio model.  I need to reinstall all including SONY Vaio, VAIO Control Center, and VAIO Care software.  It doesn't seem to be a full installation package on page 10 to 64-bit Windows.  All I see are updated and they do not install the full suite.  Where can I find a complete installation package.

    Hi Pmayerowitz,

Welcome to the community of Sony!

How you installed 10 Windows on your machine? Did you upgrade or clean install the operating system? Yes, you try to install the on-board version originally from the Software of VAIO Care. If you encounter a problem, you can update this thread.

    Best regards

  • How to enable a healthy option in the VAIO control center?

After I reinstalled windows, the function xloud is missing in my knees. I have google and discovered that it must be enabled via the control center. But this option is not present in the control center. I reinstalled the sound drivers and the Page of Supportcontrol center. My laptop model is SVE11115EN

Nothing worked, control center does not yet show option called Sound. What can I do?

I installed both, but it has been awhile, so I'll do it again. The sound when rose now becomes quite unbearable and sharp on the ears.

  • How to reinstall Vaio control center

I, too, have the touchpad problem where I constantly hit him and eventually typing some random paragraph above allows to disable the touchpad when typing transcripts (I am a court reporter). I recently upgraded to Windows 7 (64-bit) and my control center options are now limited and include more the possibility to enable/disable the touchpad.

I looked in the downloads on this site and cannot determine the appropriate one. I found a single download that looked OK, but said I must be on Vaio care versions 5. something and I am on 6.3.0.09020.

Also I saw on this forum that there is a possible combination of function keys F1 to toggle the touchpad. I'd like to be able to do instead of launching control center.

Can someone help me create the combination of shortcut keys or download the appropriate driver or update including the control center? Thank you.

    Hello
Welcome to the Forums of Discussion of the user.
What model of laptop do you have?
If you are not sure of your model please refer to this guide.
    http://eSupport.Sony.com/us/Perl/suppor... nfo_id = 264

your model is released before the fall of 2007? If so your model may not have full support for windows 7, if this is the case check here for some tips on installing your driver.
    viewtopic.php? t = 8254 & f = 8

However if your Touchpad is drifting I think I can explain what is happening. go to control panel and click on the mouse properties.

    is there a tab function?
If so disable Web support and side and down scroll
y at - it a section to enable or disable tapping?
    If yes Doubletap disable.
If none of the above are present, what has happened is windows has installed the default properties on the USB mouse driver and replaced the Touchpad utilities. Because the Touchpad lacks these utilities to help control, sometimes it can move erratically you met.

To solve this reinstall Notebook control and public services
    Reinstall the shared library

do you still have the features with a USB mouse?

If so, please perform the following checks:

    beginning
    VAIO Control Center
    Pointing devices
Ensure that the Touchpad is enabled.

then go to control panel and open Mouse Properties.
is the default value for properties of the USB mouse installed?
Properties default USB would give you only buttons, pointers, pointer options wheel and hardware.

try reinstalling the laptop control and utilities

  • Sony Vaio Z3 upgrade to windows 8

    Hello

After improving the sony vaio z3 to windows 8, I'm using Vaio control center and the vaio care software to access an option that I got when running windows 7: the possibility of having the dough load at 50% when it is connected to an electrical outlet.  I can't find this option.  What should I do?

I did a clean install. I uninstalled Vaio Control Center and installed the driver 'Sony shared library. I then reinstalled the Vaio Control Center software, and it has all the options. I am now very happy with the upgrade process.

  • Computer laptop Sony VAIO on Windows 8 may not change the brightness

I have a Sony VAIO VPCS11X9E and my screen brightness is at the lowest setting for some reason any. In addition, my FN keys for brightness setting do not work. All the means to change the brightness do not work, this does not include the brightness bar when you go into the settings.

I tried both installation driver, checked for any drivers missing or out-of-date drivers, but the only one who seems to be obsolete is my Intel HD graphics that I'VE updated, but the Intel driver update checker says otherwise.
I deactivated AND activated (just in case) the Adaptive brightness, but it doesn't work.
I got Windows 7 Ultimate running before but decided to upgrade to Windows 8. Windows 7 has never had any problems with the brightness. Also when I load upward, even thought I have replaced Windows 7 with Windows 8, it still load the dual boot screen, asking me what OS I want to start with. Starting with Windows 7 goes down several times, then it will take me to repair VAIO system. Windows 8 of course takes me to Windows 8.
When the laptop starts up, the large letters or "VAIO" is bright and normal and sometimes, but not always, when it comes to dual boot screen, the brightness is normal. However, when this happens, as soon as I move the mouse or click on a button, the brightness goes immediately back down to very dim.
When loading upward in another system or startup program, the brightness is fine. For example when I go to Sony VAIO Recovery Center, the brightness is ok. Also, if I boot in something like miniXP or a separate operating system on a bootable floppy or USB, the brightness is fine as well.
I tried many patches of driver, but NONE of them work! I tried to boot in safe mode and try to install some drivers manually because that apparently works, but it makes no difference at all.
If you could help me, even if this does not work, I would be very happy!
    Thank you very much.

I found how to adjust the brightness on my Vaio that uses Windows 8, I went to

    VAIO Control Center
    Image quality
Off the brightness of the display
I hope this helps everyone with this problem.
