Subfolder JPEG after using "Image Processor"...

Hello

I use 'Photoshop-> image processor' for resize my photos and I always get a JPEg in my dirtory of target subfolder, I don "t want to.

In the "Image Processor", I selected the option 'Save in the same place' and under 'File Type' "Save as JPEG" with "resize to Fit"...

Why Photoshop/bridge creates a subfolder, even though I specified to store the images processed in the same place (which means to crush it in my eyes)?

If I can change this option or is it a feature request for CS5?

Thank you

You can use this custom version that I created to extend, for my workflow, for CS4 Image Processor:

http://www.Adobe.com/cfusion/exchange/index.cfm?event=extensionDetail&loc=en_US&EXTID=1698 556

You can set a folder on the same level of origin or below and give it the name you want.

He hopes to help solve your problem.

  • No conservation of alpha channels when using Image Processor Dr.Brown Pro.

    Version: Photoshop CS5

    Platform: PC

    Tool/Script: Dr.Brown Image Pro processor

    Question:

    When you use this tool to save the .psd or .tga as .tga files files, .tga file does not retain the alpha channel...  Which means that the source file has an alpha channel works, but it is not present in the file generated by Image Processor Pro.  I have been by ticking the 'Alpha channel' on the interface of the IPP and tried various permutations of the other settings (I of course fully understand).  I don't know what else to try, so I hope someone here can offer some insight.

    Context:

    I develop a game to a Publisher that requires the .tga file format (must be 32 bits/pixel) for images independently.  I created all the .psd and files later .tga I need, but it turns out that given the amount of image files, I need to resize to reduce the overall size of the game (and the alpha channel must be maintained, in order to facilitate the transparency of the image).  Since there are hundreds of images to perform this task to, I'd really like to avoid do manually, because I left the ~ 1 week before my deadline for the demo and want to focus on other aspects of the game.

    Thanks for reading, any help is greatly appreciated.

    Now, I've added an if statement around line 3805 see if it works for you...

    case "tga": {}

    saveOpts.alphaChannels = toBoolean (fsOpts.tgaAlphaChannels);

    If (saveOpts.alphaChannels) {saveOpts.resolution = TargaBitsPerPixels.THIRTYTWO ;}

    saveOpts.rleCompression = toBoolean (fsOpts.tgaRLECompression);

    saveOpts._flatten = true;

    break;

    }

  • Problems using image processor to resize Images

    Hello

    I'm stumped on this one.

    In the past, I used scripts in Photoshop to reduce my big Camera RAW images to the right size of 1920 x 1080 for export to Premiere Pro.

    Worked like a charm again.

    Now, when I try to do the exact same thing and check the destination folder AFTER execution of the routine of processor image, but BEFORE their import into Premiere Pro, they are all 1620 x 1080 instead of 1920 x 1080.

    It does not work.

    I keep control around a small typo in different stages, but fails.  Any thoughts?

    I recently had to reinstall Photoshop and changed one of the settings in the preferences to 32 bits instead of 16 bit.  I don't think that has anything to do with it, but I wanted to mention it just in case.

    Hi Matt

    I'm assuming that you began with the versions 1620 x 1080.

    You have 2 options:

    size of the original image, 5616 x 3744 can scale up to 1920 x 1280, so you can resize the image 1920 x 1280, float the background image then proceed to the scale content and reduce the vertical dimension of 1280 to 1080, then remove the background image if it is always visible and use the Edit > Trim function to remove empty space.

    or

    resize images for 1620 x 1080 and then change the size of the canvas at 1920 x 1080, scale content / flatten save.

    or the other could work, there could be a slight loss in the second version of the upscaling, but it is better for you to try and test results

  • Image processor "sorry, I could not deal with the following... * all."

    Hey! I so about 150 files opened in Photoshop. They are for a customer and the customer wanted individually to certain effects on each file. The files are RAW initially, first imported in Lightroom as .dng, then all my tonal changes made in Lightroom. I then opened images as smart objects in Photoshop, with a script of Lightroom. I then did the individual work on each image in Photoshop on the assumption that it would not trouble to save using the Image Processor script. When it came time to save, I tried save as .tif files using Image Processor. I selected the target in the form of open files files, set my destination folder, chose the TIF format and click on run in the top of the window. He shortly after said one very fast without source images, which disappears and then he says: "Sorry, I couldn't deal with the following" and then lists all of the 150 open pictures. It is a big problem because I'm on a lack of time.

    Any help or another idea for how to register all these images open in TIF or PSD even at this stage is extremely appreciated. I think there must be a fix or other road opposite to old fashion one save under...

    Thank you!

    !

    It doesn't look like the IPP will not new document either.

    He can. I added an option that can be set in the script to take care of this problem.

    //

    PROCESS_UNSAVED_IMAGES

    This will allow the treatment of unsaved images. To make this work,

    an unregistered image file is ~ / Desktop. If a file extension is

    not in the name of the image, .psd is used.

    //

    ImageProcessorOptions.PROCESS_UNSAVED_IMAGES = true;

    By default, it is false to get the 'traditional' behavior Set to true will leave PPI to process new images, not registered.

  • Dr. Brown Pro image processor

    I use Image Processor Pro by Dr. Brown for years and have never had a problem until now. I just tried to run the pro Image Processor script and received a "failed creation tab by default FileType". Any who cross this error? I tried to remove the script and reinstall it but the same problem. I even tried script 'Just difficulty It' of Mr. Brown. The only thing that has changed since the last, I used the script successfully is that I added a monitor 3rd in my setup, but I really don't expect that it is a problem. Has anyone encountered this error when you use Dr. Brown scripts?

    Thank you for your suggestions, but after some further investigation, it turns out that the problem was Photoshop itself. I went to test a batch action in photoshop and found that 'batch' under automate is grayed out.

    Oinapea, if you see that your 'batch' option is greyed out, try to remove it from your actions palette file. Must be in the same folder JJMack listed above: C:\Users\(insert username) \AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS5\Adobe Photoshop CS5 Settings

    Remove the Stock Palette.psp and reopen PS. I hope that the 'batch' option is now available and Dr. Brown will run as it should.

  • Actions / image processor ps6 Q.

    Hi guys, just have a few questions,

    1. can I use actions "remove watermark" of several images using image processor to perform this action.

    2. can I do the same thing with multiple images background removal

    Ty nicely! Dale.

    Hi Dale,

    in fact, it's the same thing in. CS and CC. In regard to my experience it depends on the image, brand of water and the bottom. While you can ask for an action to make such specific measures make adjustments or removing a color background, in collaboration with watermark and background is always preferable to manually be case by case, because it depends on the complexity of the image and the mixed colours. In addition, it may involve using tools and varied for each case.

    Imhabe have been working with for a long time and unfortunately photo editing actions could not do a professional output.

    I hope this helps!

  • Default behavior of opening of files PDF image processor

    I have about 2 200 PDF files that I need to flatten and then convert to TIFF. I am able to do this in Photoshop using Image Processor, but the problem is that I first have to crop the images to the media box. Image processor seems to crop the default zone. Is there a way to change this, or some other way to accomplish what I'm trying to do without Image Processor? There are enough images that open each of them individually is not really an option.

    Thanks in advance!

    You might try this script PDF processor :

  • Image processor problem - not tagged profile

    Do you have a problem in Photoshop 6 when using Image Processor to the exit of .jpg.  All the pictures are converted without a color profile (unidentified) Although the profile to convert to sRGB is checked.  Help!

    clip1.jpeg

    clip2.jpeg

    Hello

    Don't you have to include the ICC profile checked at the bottom of the dialog box Image Processor?

  • Bridge Image Processor always creates JPEG or TIFF file, how to change this behavior?

    I searched the web, Bridge and Photoshop forums forums and come empty-handed. (The strange thing is, I know, there used to be a station who answered this question a few years ago). In any case, I use the Image Processor a little, and it works fine except for the annoying behavior of always creating a new folder to store the newly created images.

    I remember the solution is to change a line in a file (XML?) of "JPEG" to «» For the life of me, I can't find which file it is! I think that it used to located down inside the Application Support. I think that.

    Thanks for the help on this, it drives me crazy!

    Jeff

    Thanks for the reply! I am running CS 5.1. Oh, now I see... I never ran the Image in Photoshop, only from bridge processor. You're right, it offers various options of bridge.

    In any case, I found it what I was looking for.

    Opened upward (not running!) the Image Processor.jsx file. I opened it ExtendScript Toolkit. The path is/Applications/Adobe Photoshop CS5.1/Presets/Scripts/Image Processor.jsx

    I'm online 1574 (in other versions, the line number may vary)

    That's what the line says:

    var subFolderText = inFolderLocation + "/JPEG/";

    Replace:

    var subFolderText = inFolderLocation + ' / / ';.

    Problem solved. Repeat as needed for other folders you want not created (TIFF, PSD)

    Return to work!

  • Photoshop tools in bridge do not work with mt PS CC 2015.  I try to use the image processor, and nothing happens.

    Every since switching to the CC I can't get photoshop 'tools' to work, the bridge.  I chose the pictures in the image processor, and nothing happens.  I have to close PS CC and leave the bridge to open my PS CS6 to process images.  How can I get it works in CC?

    I think I knew my problem.  I use the wrong version of the bridge.  I'm sorry to bother you!

  • Script alert: "Sorry I couldn't treat the following files" (Error Message by using the Image Processor)

    I am a seasoned Photoshop/Bridge CS5 user who has recently upgraded to CS6.  In bridge I ran my first batch of Image Processor, trying to convert a set of RAW. NEF files. PSD files with a basic editing action that I created apply them.  Photoshop CS6 opens the bridge files and applies the actions, but then I get the error message "alert of Script" "Sorry, I could not deal with the following files" and a list of all the files in the batch, I tried to run the script on.  The files all remain open and are saved on my hard drive in a folder created by the Image Processor script, but will not close unless I close them manually.  I never had this problem in CS5 where would apply the actions that you want to the batch of photos one at a time image processor, then save and close.  Reflections on how I can fix this bug?

    Get your number of history States. I moved mine the default of 20 to 60, and all is well. For the record, this action does not work on 16 and 32 bit.

    Remove resetting of the State history, you will get into trouble if you copy more than one file type. If you go with the change above, I would recommend only with one type of output at a time.

    The script should probably define States of high story then put back to the end. The problem with this, is that machines perhaps isn't able to handle the large amount of stages of history. Which means, hit the stages of history can lead to 'out of memory' or "scratch disk is full" errors.

  • Adobe Photoshop cc image processor

    I want to save my images in a subfolder of the original but cannot find this option in the dialog box "Save." I don't want to save in the original folder as they will be renamed.

    I use the plugin image processor pro script is better than the image processor.

    However if you use the Image Processor provided with Photoshop. The jpeg format, you save is saved in a folder of Jpeg under the PSD in a PSD subfolder. and the Tiff into a subfolder of tiff.

  • Image Processor Pro and image converter eps files without pixelation them loading

    Hello. My name is Lucas. IM of the Argentina, who now lives in the Brazil. I have the problem that is in the title. IM new to do such things but to read much, I discovered that both scripts open files eps and because what they do is reasterized, then files stored looks preety bad.

    I know that there are some parameters to open the eps, e.g.:

    var epsOpenOptions = new EPSOpenOptions();
       epsOpenOptions.antiAlias = true;
       epsOpenOptions.mode = OpenDocumentMode.RGB;
       epsOpenOptions.resolution = 72;
       epsOpenOptions.constrainProportions = true;

    I must say that the search for a solution has found a script and changed to partially answer my needs. I said partially because I need the script to review the files and save the output files with the same structure. Here's the script that manage a folder at the same time:

    #target photoshop
    // Asks user for input folder
    var inputFolder = Folder.selectDialog("Select a folder to process");
    // Asks user for output folder
    var OutputFolder = Folder.selectDialog("Select a folder to save your Tiffs");
    if ( inputFolder != null && OutputFolder  != null ) {

       // Makes list of all files located in that folder
       var fileList = inputFolder.getFiles( "*.eps" );

       // Create a EPS option object [height & width are doc size]
       var epsOpenOptions = new EPSOpenOptions();
       epsOpenOptions.antiAlias = true;
       epsOpenOptions.mode = OpenDocumentMode.RGB;
       epsOpenOptions.resolution = 72;
       epsOpenOptions.constrainProportions = true;

       // Open each file in turn
       for (var i = 0; i < fileList.length; i++) {

          // open the file
          app.open( fileList[i], epsOpenOptions );

          var baseName = activeDocument.name.slice( 0,-4 );

          // put your code to 'save as' the file here
          var saveFile = new File ( OutputFolder + "/" + baseName + ".jpg" );
       SaveForWeb(saveFile,60); // set quality to suit

     function SaveForWeb(saveFile,jpegQuality) {
      var sfwOptions = new ExportOptionsSaveForWeb();
      sfwOptions.format = SaveDocumentType.JPEG;
      sfwOptions.includeProfile = false;
      sfwOptions.interlaced = 0;
      sfwOptions.optimized = true;
      sfwOptions.quality = jpegQuality;

     activeDocument.exportDocument(saveFile, ExportType.SAVEFORWEB, sfwOptions);

       };
     activeDocument.close( SaveOptions.DONOTSAVECHANGES );

       };

       };

    So, if you know a way change image processor pro or photo I will be very happy.

    Because I use only the script to handle eps files and save them as jpg (except for the web) I don't have a special button to activate this option. Keep things simple. Thank you!!

    You can tweak ImageProcessorPro.jsx to do the following editing.

    Search for code that looks like this:

    ImageProcessor.prototype.openDocument = function(file) {
      var self = this;
      var settings = self.settings;
      var mode = DialogModes.NO;
      var ext = file.strf("%e").toLowerCase();
      var isRaw = ImageProcessor.CAMERA_RAW_FILES.contains(ext);

      if (isRaw) {
      }

    and insert this code right after it:

      if (ext == "eps") {
        var epsOpenOptions = new EPSOpenOptions();
        epsOpenOptions.antiAlias = true;
        epsOpenOptions.mode = OpenDocumentMode.RGB;
        epsOpenOptions.resolution = 72;
        epsOpenOptions.constrainProportions = true;
        try {
          var doc = app.open(file, epsOpenOptions);
        } catch (e) {
          Error.runtimeError(9002, ZStrings.UnableToOpenErr);
        }
        return doc;
      }

    I have not tested at all, but it looks good from here.

    Yes Adobe tile action fails with the error when he didn't is not the active selection. Note that the Cut Out, built-in frame and thumbnail (selection) after their name. These actions require an active selection to the selected mobile dotted lines before using the action.  Action seeks to soften the selection that were provided to you.  There was no selection, so there is nothing to be flag.

    In addition, the step of the pen in the action of the tile is an interactive step on its dialog box is.  An interactive action defeat as the design of the Image Processor script commands.  Isn't interactivity in a batch.
