Table dialog box not no projection in FM12, unstructured

Having introduced the tables in headers (in master pages), I don't see dialog box insert a table when I try to insert a table into a page of body. If I hit escape, normal function resumes. If I hit Enter, I get a table with the current values in the dialog box. No idea why it's not showing?

I thought about it...
The multiple monitor installation. The dialog box shows on the screen of the laptop, not on one of the large screens.

Thanks for your help.

  • Help on the dialog box permits preventing projection during the passage of location

    Hi all!

    I am trying to add location is fixed on an application and I'm trying to avoid having the permissions pop-up that asks the user to allow using GPS. I have to press at least JDE 4.6.0 and I have been using this article as a guide: http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/Java-Development/Location-APIs-Start-to-finish/ta-p/571949

    I used the sample code to get a localization using Cellsite Mode solution, but I still get the permissions dialog box. I figured using the Cellsite Mode, it would not require authorization because he isn't using GPS. Someone at - it one know a way to prevent the permissions dialog box from popping up or always displays because I'm asking for the location of a user? I have to use a new JDE to achieve?

    Thanks, any comment is appreciated.

    I can assure you that you are unable to obtain location information, or information that could help with location (e.g. mast connected information) without some acceptance of the user's permissions.

  • Import layered file dialog box not to come

    Hey I am currently using Adobe Premiere Pro v7.0 and when I go to import a layered photoshop file to the layered file dialog box is not coming! Is there another way that I can choose which layer I want to import? or a way to make the upcoming dialog box?

    Thank you very much!

    Once you've done a Save_As > PSD in PS, you will get then two choices:

    1.) sequence, where the layers will be flattened (not what you want)

    Sequence 2.), where the layers are kept on their own video track, which is what you want - if I read correctly.

    Use the PSD for this, says Ann.

  • If I click on a hyperlink in text file, I want a download dialog box, not for firefox to try to open it (> 20MB).

    When I click on a hyperlink to a text file large, how I can change the default behavior of FireFox to open a "File-Save" dialog box directly?
    On the contrary, FireFox tries to open the file and for very large text files, 25 MB or more, which is excruciatingly slow. I use a program to treat these files in a few seconds, if only I could download them.

  • View dialog box on powerUp()

    Hello

    I am building an app that does not have a graphical user interface and runs in the background. The application uses PhoneListener to interrupt a call and create a new one in its place. Since I have no GUI I cannot send the keystrokes required to phone until after a dialog box is displayed (either a dialog box, asking permissions of the Application, or by changing the OptionsProvider). What I want to do, it's just pop up a dialog on startup so I can then inject my shots to end the call.

    Here is my code:

    public class GVIntercepter extends UiApplication implements SystemListener
    {
        public static void main(String[] args)
        {
            // register an options provider
            GVIntercepterOptionsProvider provider = new GVIntercepterOptionsProvider();
            OptionsManager.registerOptionsProvider(provider);

            // register a phone handler
            PhoneHandler phone_handler = new PhoneHandler();
            Phone.addPhoneListener(phone_handler);

            GVIntercepter instance = new GVIntercepter();
            // instance.enterEventDispatcher();

            if( ApplicationManager.getApplicationManager().inStartup() ) {
              // Add a system listener to detect when system is ready and available.
              instance.addSystemListener(instance);
            } else {

              // Note that this work must be completed using invokeLater because the
              // application has not yet entered the event dispatcher.
              instance.doStartupWorkLater();
            }
            // Enter the event dispatcher.
            instance.enterEventDispatcher();
        }

        {
          // Perform your start up activities here!
          Application.getApplication().invokeLater( new Runnable() {
            public void run() {
              Dialog.ask(Dialog.D_YES_NO, "Display?");
            }
          } );
        }

        }

        public GVIntercepter()
        {    }
    }

    I tried almost everything to get the dialog box to display and I am at a loss here. Any ideas?

    Also, I'd be open to suggestions on power sending keystrokes to a background application in the phone app and use PhoneArguments to call without displaying any prompt at all.

    I never thought seriously about doing something like what you're trying to do, so I'm sorry this isn't a complete answer to your questions.  You may use these details to get a little further though.

    You say that your app is a bottom up, however you have extended UiApplication.  If your application is treated as it displays a screen of the user, but you never insert a screen, if your application never gets thrust in the foreground.  You will find that, once you started with your current code, your icon is available in the Task Switcher (ALT + ESC) and if you swap to your application, your dialog box is there to be seen (on a white background, as any UiApplication).  Try it and see.

    You can replace your code in doStartupWork() with something like the following, so that you can see actually started.  Try this and then see what happens when you select your application by using the Task Switcher after you answer your dialog box (note I use UiApplication rather than on request, simply because the code you call later should a UiApplication to run.  Your code works really because you have found your own application, which is currently spreading UiApplication.  If you change it to extend the Application instead, then you will get a UiApplication.

          UiApplication.getUiApplication().invokeLater( new Runnable() {
            public void run() {
                UiApplication.getUiApplication().requestForeground();
                Dialog.ask(Dialog.D_YES_NO, "Display?");
                UiApplication.getUiApplication().requestBackground();
            }
          } );

    I suspect that you really want to be a background application.  In this case, you extend Application rather than UiApplication.  Then, to bring something to the attention of the user, you can use UIEngine, as shown here:

    How - to alert a user to a background application
    Article number: DB-00407

    http://www.BlackBerry.com/knowledgecenterpublic/livelink.exe/fetch/2000/348583/800332/800505/800608/...

    Alternatively, you can do what you do, stick your phone earpiece in place, then the UiApplication, the output is not in the Task Switcher.   Even if you have left your UiApplication, your hook is still in place and can still do something.

    I have a point more than related.

    You are actually setting up an earpiece of phone.  When this listener is controlled, it will run the app phone, not your Application.  This application has a GUI, then maybe you need not to use this dialog box "to access a graphical interface.

    Sorry, as stated, I never really looked seriously to do something like what you do, then I do not understand everything and maybe you have this covered.  Bit I hope this helps.

  • Dialog results 'not a number '.

    Hello! I am new to InDesign scripting (to date) and has difficulties with the help of dialog box results in my script. The script that I put in place creates calligraphy guide line to the bottom of a page and got this works well but then wanted to be able to specify the distance between the lines in a dialog box, rather than in the script, and it does not work now.

    I know that everything from line 43 down works if I remove the dialog box and create variables using parseInt() rather than pulling them from the box of dialogue, but as soon as I try to use the values of the dialog box, what happens with error on line 60 30491 that ascenderHeight is not a number (and so he can probably use it to calculate in geometricBounds). I tried to convert a variable to test entire under line 43, but it makes no difference. Initially, I used the measurementEditBox as in the tutorial of InDesign scripting, but thought that the whole it would remove any excess baggage. If someone could let me know where I am going wrong, I would really appreciate it!

    var myDialog = app.dialogs.add({name: "Set line guide parameters",canCancel:true}) ;
    with (myDialog){
    //Add labels dialog column.
    with(dialogColumns.add()){

    myGroup.push(lineMarker) ;
    myGroup.push(Diagonal) ;
    var myLineGroup = app.activeWindow.activePage.groups.add(myGroup);

        } ;

    } ;

    Without going into all of your script, let's look at your dialog box:

    Take the code to your dialog box and copy it to a separate script.

    Now instead of calling the construction guide, replace this line with a test to check the values of variables:

    [ascenderHeight, xHeightmm, descenderHeight, slantAngle];

    When you run the script, you will see where is your problem: the result is:

    Result: [object IntegerEditbox], [IntegerEditbox object], [object IntegerEditbox] [object AngleEditbox]

    You have found a reference for widgets dialog box, not the edit value.

    Add .editValue to each of your definitions of variables so that they read:

    var ascenderHeight = ascenderHeightField.editValue;

    var xHeightmm = xHeightmmField.editValue;

    var descenderHeight = descenderHeightField.editValue;

    var slantAngle = slantAngleField.editValue;

    This should solve your problem.

    Bottom line: when you encounter problems, isolate the code and assess the results.

    I hope this helps.

  • The appropriate dialog box position

    I use native windows user interface create a modeless dialog box (not SMA). I want to do the standing still on the window dialog box, so I write codes dialog box creation when the startedup notification message is triggered, but the dialog box crashes before it shows. If I could create a dialog non modal when plugin start up or any place can do that?

    I got hurt also if you try to create a dialogue too soon. I am currently their creation in response to the kAIApplicationStartedNotifier. This seems to do the trick.

  • First Watch a unexplained file to open a project dialog box but does not say what he wants or case?  Really?

    It is a common phenomenon: I opened a project in first, and instead of the interface user of first, I see a file dialog box.  Apparently first is looking for a file, since there is an option for "display only exact name match.»

    But corresponds with what?  Is nowhere on the screen there a file name, or anything to tell me first seeks.  Isn't this monumentally stupid?

    And so forth, over and over again for each file first can not find.  Your only viable solution is to hit "Skip All", since you are never given a file name.

    Once the project is in place, you can browse your timelines for any red video event.  And when you do a right-click on one of them to view its properties, first show you often inexplicably the name of an audio file.  Sometimes, you see the name of a video file.  But what is missing here, Adobe?  THE path.  You get the name of the file and nothing else.  You have still no idea where first expected to find the file, so you have no way of troubleshooting of his disappearance.

    And I thought the dialogue of media-reissue of old FCP links was bad.  Is there a solution for this?  What is the workflow expected here?

    Thank you!

    Looks like you're on Mac El Capitan (OS 10.11.x), is that correct? If Yes, some dialogs changed with 10.11 Mac and affected dialog boxes are more display the title bar, which is where this information is displayed (this affects a number of applications, not just the first one). Is a question that is being investigated because he was not a problem on Mac OS 10.10.x.

    Since CS6, it has improved to the Media link dialog box (as seen in the screenshot by shooternz).

    This is strange!  If I have certainly seen issue LabVIEW installations (Hello, LabVIEW 2011).  Here are some suggestions for what to do when bad LabVIEW installed (I'm assuming Windows 7):

    • Start by going to the Control Panel control, OR software and click on delete all.
    • Important - when it has finished, reboot!
    • Install just LabVIEW (VIPM, if you want).  Reset.
    • Install only the toolkits and Modules you need (no drivers!).  Reset.
    • Just install the drivers you need.  Reset.
    • Open License Manager OR and to ensure that the products you need have showing them "Buttons license" in dark green.

    I just did this with my system.  Curiously, Acquisition of Vision software was green pale, but Vision Development Module is dark green (and Vision seems to work).

    Also check out MAX and make sure that the Software Modules that you expect are present.  If something seems "missing", report it here...

  • Put the active table in respect of the development when the script was interrupted by a dialog box

    I adapted a script which browse tables in a file of Fm and asks the user if he wants the current to be reformatted or not active table

    I have not find a clean way to the table that is currently selected in the variable "tbl" or visible on the screen when the scripts sends a dialog box.

    The workaround I found is to launch a format on the table before sending the guest, in this case the table processing is apparent when the prompt arises.

    But I would like to have the visible table and avoid doing all the treatments on the table until the user has had a chance to respond to the prompt.

    I guess that there must be a method to draw the attention of the active window on an item that is selected in a variable?

    function ApplyTableFormat (doc)
    {
    If (doc.) ObjectValid())
    {
    var tbl is doc. SelectedTbl
    var tbltitle;
    var tblTextItem;
    While (tbl. ObjectValid())
    {
    tbltitle = "";
    tblTextItem = tbl. FirstPgf.GetText (Constants.FTI_String);
    for (var i = 0; i < tblTextItem.length; i ++)
    {
    tbltitle += tblTextItem [i] .sdata;
    }

    / * How my "tbl" visible in the window active doc? */
    If (Alert ("format:" + tbl.)) "Tbltitle + FirstPgf.PgfNumber + '? \nClick Cancel to abort. ((', Constants.FF_ALERT_CANCEL_DEFAULT))
    return;
    / * Insert here the table formatting code * /.

    TBL = tbl. NextTblInDoc;
    }
    }
    on the other
    {
    Alert ('no active doc', Constants.FF_ALERT_CONTINUE_WARN)
    return
    }
    }

    There is a document feature that allows to scroll the window to a location of particular text:

    doc. ScrollToText (textRange);

    You might be able to do something like this:

    doc. ScrollToText (new TextRange (tbl. TextLoc, tbl. TextLoc));
