  What version of the bridge are you using?

  • Please close bridge
  • Open Photoshop
  • Open a picture
  • Select the file > Browse in Bridge

  Also, make sure that you have compatible versions of Bridge and Photoshop, as if you use Bridge CC, make sure that Photoshop CC (latest) is installed.

  Hi people, I have used creative cloud four years now, only to use Photoshop for my work. I pay £17.58 per month (UK), but it seems to me that I could actually pay half, AND get included Lightroom (I'm on a subscription "an application" from now)... the problem is, I can't seem to find all the information about knowing if Bridge and Camera Raw would be included in the "Plan of photography" - they are essential for my work , so can not risk changing room for this plan, unless I know for sure.   There is a special plan designed for photographers, called "photography Plan" that includes Adobe Photoshop CC 2015, Lightroom CC 2015, CC 2015 and Camera Raw bridge.

  I think that the plan that you have right now is called "Only one App membership only for Photoshop" and this plan includes cloud storage space more (20 GB) relatively in terms of photography.

  Hey so I don't know what the devil is going on, but the Camera Raw worked perfectly for me when I first came to this computer. It is a work computer, and all programs have been installed recently. I like to use Camera Raw due to changes in basic easy and made massive (from .nef to .jpg) because I do a lot of shooting as a journalist.

  As I said, it worked very well for me these last three weeks. Now, I get this error message:

  Try resetting preferences.  Hold down the option key and launch Bridge.  You should get a window to reset.

  If this does not work, it may be how they programs installed.  They use a disc?

  You will need a camera that can produce Raw files (see the manual of your camera for this) and you will also have the plugin Camera Raw correct for the type of device you are using. In short, when after having updated CS4 and not to have a new type of camera that just came out, you should be able to use these Raw files in CS4.

  ACR can be used in bridge and PS, they are the same but have a small difference in backup options active (default gateway 'Done') and default ch 'open image '. Best part so that you can use two processors simultaneously. then when you have several files processing in one you can start with settings on the other :-)

  There is a set much more to learn more about Raw, there is some good white papers, video tutorials, and a very good and easy to read book (Real World Camera Raw CS4, Bruce Fraser and Jeff Schewe).

  I have a new install of Photoshop CC on my macbook.  I'm running into a problem when you edit an image in Photoshop cc and using the camera raw filter.  If I choose the camera raw filter camera raw opens upward, but all I see is white - the image is not displayed in the interface of camera raw.  This happens whenever I'm working on a layer and apply the raw camera filter.  The only time it works is when I don't have all the layers, but only the image that it comes directly from the camera raw inside - then it works fine.  I'm guessing that there is I'm missing something really basic, but it's maddening!

  The Camera RAW filter will not work on a single adjustment layer. Select the layer with the image and the adjustment layer and convert it to dynamic object to apply the filter Camera RAW image with the applied adjustment layer.

  First, I changed the photo cameras to jpg in RAW format and made some photos.

  At home I tried to open the files with Camera Raw. Does not work. The sony camera recorded images as ARW file.

  So I downloaded Adobe DNG Converter. I've converted the ARW in a RAW file and opened it with camera raw.

  So far so good! I opened the FIRST photo with Photoshop. Just to test with 8 & 16-bit also. My camera supports 16-bit?

  I compared the RAW file with the jpg created again.

  Normally the quality of the raw file should be much better than the jpg compressed, I think.

  I took a quick glance at some other pictures of jpg (I shot in JPG Mode) and compared with the FIRST Images (RAW Mode).

  I have seen absolutely no difference between RAW and JPG.

  I also tried an exact correction of the tonal value at the two images.

  Even with the other image corrections. More details, noise, sharpness... even.

  With the Sony NEX-3 there was also a program included RAW that opens the ARW files.

  I do not see too many differences between RAW and jpg here.

  You have a lot of questions, and you will get countless different answers.

  Firstly, raw images are generally images 12 or 14 bits.  Your camera doesn't have to support that, because it's one of the benefits of shooting in raw.  Camera Raw opens the images in a 16-bit workspace.  Due to the additional bits and other factors as well, you're able to do a lot more with images.  If you have deep and strong or extremely brilliant shadows highlights overexposed, you will find that you can recover a lot more detail in these troubled when areas you work with raw image data.  The fact is that if you have perfectly exposed image and you're not overexposed areas or mitigate the shadows, it will be difficult to see the difference.

  If you really are not a bad thing.  You must do some experiments more and some studies to better understand yourself the advantage for the filming of raw images.  If you're like most people who contribute here, once you realize you has all the benefits of shooting raw images, you will probably stop shooting JPEG in total.

• Fallacious rectangles or "glitch" appear when using Camera Raw.

  When I use Camera Raw, I see fake or rectangles 'glitch' appear when using various tools of exposure, the adjustment brush setting, etc.. To work around the problem, I set a tool that I use as an exhibition or a brush until the rectangles disappear, then try to accomplish my initial task. Although annoying and disruptive to work, the question so far seems innocuous from a real perspective of corruption.

  The question goes far (stops going completely) when I uncheck the box "use Graphics Processor' Raw.

  My guess is that it is a matter of driver/GPU. If someone knows something about this, would be great to hear, otherwise I just wanted to share the info in case someone else has the same problem arise.

  Note, I have a relatively new Intel 970M, latest drivers and a lot of memory... This isn't an 'old system' or lack of memory type of question.

  You have your answer. That's what a lot of people have had to do when their graphics card does not work well with the cab. No solution other than what you were doing.

  We published a new version of Adobe Bridge (CC 2015) on July 19, 2016. This update is available via the Adobe Creative Cloud application.

  We have approached some unwanted highDPI on Windows. Please try the new version and look for problems you encounter.

  If you are not able to locate the bridge (CC 2015) on the creative cloud application, you will need to update the creative cloud application and restart your computer.
