  We are aware of this problem and are working on a fix.  In the meantime, please use the offline installation program, displayed at the bottom of the help page corresponding to your operating system and browser:

  Download Offline Installer: Flash Player (Mac OS X)

  Leave everything except the Finder.

  Double-click on the DMG and let it mount & open.

  Click with the right button on the installer and choose "view the contents of the package.

  In the folder happy / Resources , double-click the Adobe Flash Player.pkg file and let it run.

  Hi, no, not when uninstalling or installing from a live site. Now, if you use the manual installer/Uninstaller that you put on your desktop and run from there, then Yes.

  I downloaded the latest version of Flash Player for Windows using Windows XP Pro, Firefox 14.0.1 and IE 8.0.6001.18702.  The exe file was properly registered, but Setup could not initialize.  IE error message is lower to-a similar message was sent when you try Firefox re script error

  Hi again, ok. Now since you have McAfee as a paid version, I would like to uninstall Avira or turn it off at least. The rule is to have an anti-virus program, since most of which will cause conflictions. MBAM is ok, as long as it's right on your desktop and you run it when you want.

  What we will do is to uninstall the current version of Flash Player, install vs 9, then uninstall vs 9, then install the most recent Flash Player vs which is 10.1.102.64.

  To do this, use the administrator account.

  Once you have on your desk, using the administrator account, you CLOSE all browser windows.

  Disable McAfee & Avira

  Look in your tray (area near the clock) system for instant messengers, yahoo, aol, etc and turn them off.

  Your computer, run the program uninstall and when it's finished, Reboot (restart).

  Check and make sure that McAfee & Avira are always disabled.

  Run the Setup from vs 9 and when you're done, restart your computer

   

  Test your browser here and you should be able to see the Flash animation (spin) logo and the Flash Player version must be listed.

  Now, you run the program to uninstall again to uninstall vs 9, when finished, restart your computer

  Check and make sure that McAfee & Avira are always disabled.

  Run Setup vs 10.1.102.64 and when finished, restart your computer.

  Then test your browser and you should have now installed 10.1.102.64 vs.

  You may want to print these directions to make it easier to follow.

  Good, Yes, about a week or two ago (approximately when the update is released) the flash on my computer stopped working, now based on a browser is fine, but everything I tried to work with without the internet no longer works, so I tried to download this update at least 4 different times , and each time it downloads completely that I can tell, but it doesn't appear anywhere on my computer, but also always being an opening flash files. any help?

  Oh an update, I've solved the problem, maybe there is an easier way, but I went to archive downloaded the same version, which gave me everything I needed to launch the flash player.

  You don't need to 'eliminate' Brccmctl; just close it.  See how close Internet Explorer and other programs that run on Windows?

  LOL no, you're not a lost cause.  We all start out knowing nothing, it is not rooted or inherited.

  My suggestion, do not use SecureAccess.  There is no requirement that you do.  When you plug the flash drive in, use Windows Explorer to copy files to and from it not SecureAccess.  In fact to prevent it from interfering with your needs, you can remove it.  Actually delete all files from SanDisk on flash drive, then you should be fine.

  BTW VERY sorry to hear about your son.  No parent should live out a child.
