The script title?

I saved my script and my project, but my script still Untitled. What Miss me?

http://screencast.com/t/cH7i1vEn4IUQ

Found it... it's all just not where you would think. A little awkward.

Click on the small arrow icon next to the title of the script for a small menu on which is the ability to rename the script. Yay!

  • Select all the script maps

    Hi all

    Hoping someone out there can help, I need my script to end with one of the following 3 options:

    Select all: as in "cmd one"

    Select all the objects on the layer "Tabs".

    Select all the objects with the Script title boxes"tabs".

    Reason being, when the script ends I need a bunch of boxes to be pre-selected loan for a manual deselect by 1 point (chosen by the user) and then they Deletes selected objects manually to finish. (I didn't understand my original script here as has no impact on the autonomous part I need for the final selection)

    Hoping that this is a simple script but as it is rare to have a script of object selection and not do something with them, I think it's impossible to create.

    Thank you, Bren

    Read the object model and you will find that the equivalent script Cmnd + A is as follows:

    app.selection = null;
    pItems = app.windows[0].activeSpread.pageItems;
    app.select (pItems, SelectionOptions.ADD_TO);

    To select all items in the layer tab page, filter the items in the page:

    app.selection = null;
    pItems = app.windows[0].activeSpread.pageItems;

    for (i = pItems.length-1; i >= 0; i--) {
      if (pItems[i].itemLayer.name === 'Tab') {
        app.select (pItems[i], SelectionOptions.ADD_TO);
      }
    }

    To select objects with a certain script label is a variant of the (or an addition to) the second script.

  • The document title Split String Script into an If identified

    Hello

    I have a console script that will extract the file title extension in the document properties:

    firstWord = this.info.Title.split("."); FirstWord = Event.Value [1];

    The example document title is: DWGTest.idw

    After the script is run from the console of the file extension is displayed correctly as: idw

    I now need to integrate the script with an if statement, and then perform an action.

    However, after you run the script I get a syntax error.

    Please can someone tell how can I modify the script works correctly?

    If the title in the properties of the document contains the file extension idw can create a signature field

    firstWord = this.info.Title.split("."); FirstWord = Event.Value [1];

    If (firstWord is "SDI")

    {

    var this.numPages = NUMPAGES;

    for (var i = 0; i < numpages; i ++)

    var a = this.addField ("Chk R1", "signature", 0,

    ([1093, 119.5, 1054.5, 136,5]) ;

    }

    Any help will be most appreciated.

    Thank you.

    Try to simplify it a little bit. This code tries to add a field of signature several times in the same place on the first page, assuming that there are several pages, and the rect does not seem right.

    var firstWord = info.Title.split(".")[1];

    if (firstWord === "idw") {
        addField("Chk R1", "signature", 0, [54.4, 136.5, 93, 119.5]);
    }

    Note that I changed the boundaries of the field (left and right) to try to ensure that the scope should be placed on the page. What is the width and height of your pages? The rect values can be read as "left side, top, right, bottom", with the origin (point 0,0) being the lower-left corner of the page. The values are in points and there are 72 points per inch.

  • Write "Version name" in the field "title"?

    I would export JPEGs from Aperture into lots and then import the images in the "Photos" application I would like to that the opening of 'Name of the Version' to become the "title" of the image in case of 'pictures '.

    Is it possible to write the name of the Version of the opening of the batch to the export of field before (or during) 'Title' Aperture opening?

    Thanks David

    I don't see an easy way to do it.

    Batch change presets allow only a constant string for the title field.

    However, you can change the file name for the version name, if you use 'Apply to the original file' in metadata > Batch change dialog box.

    As you probably know, the pictures does not use the names of files as the default titles, but you can use the script Script: batch change the titles to the w/Extension of file name in the Photos section user tip to copy the names of files in the title, once you have migrated the photo library.

    Or modify the script to copy the version names in the field title in Aperture.

    Hi daveliew1998,

    Try these steps and check the result.
    Step 1: Scanner of sfc (System File Checker) to see if any system file is missing or damaged. To do this, try the following steps:
    a. Click Start, click Run, type cmd and click ok.
    b. at the command prompt, type sfc/scannow and press ENTER.
    c. once the analysis is complete, restart the computer and check if the problem persists.

    Note: You will be asked to insert the Windows XP disk, if a file is missing.

    For more information, see Description of Windows XP System File Checker (Sfc.exe)

    Step 2: If the problem continues, check if it runs in safe mode, and you might consider the publication of details for further assistance

    Windows Mail uses the IE print engine.  You can print from IE?  There was an earlier report that one could not print Windows mail after installing IE9.  If you can print from IE, then see if uninstall IE9 (which was installed by default) fixes the problem.

    ChangecaseMode.SENTENCECASE

  • Added keyboard shortcuts for menu items created by the script. Is this possible?

    Hi all

    I wanted to create a custom script menu and assign (on the numeric keypad) shortcuts to the menu items so that I could run a script with small changes rather than change a few (currently seven) scripts separated and assign a shortcut to each of them. But now, I realized that the custom menus are not visible in the "Keyboard shortcuts" dialog box (What a disappointment!)

    Am I missing something here? Or is there a workaround?

    My idea was to trigger the main script - floating Tables.jsx - from the Manager menu item from the menu title as an argument.

    var tableMenu = app.menus.item("$ID/Main").submenus.item("Table");

    // "Floating Tables" sub-menu
    try {
        var subMenu = tableMenu.submenus.item("Floating Tables");
        subMenu.title;
    }
    catch(err) {
        var subMenu = tableMenu.submenus.add("Floating Tables", LocationOptions.AT_END);
    }

    var topLeftAction = app.scriptMenuActions.add("Top Left");
    var topLeftListener = topLeftAction.eventListeners.add("onInvoke", FloatingTablesHandler);
    var topLeftMenuItem = subMenu.menuItems.add(topLeftAction);

    var topCenterAction = app.scriptMenuActions.add("Top Center");
    var topCenterListener = topCenterAction.eventListeners.add("onInvoke", FloatingTablesHandler);
    var topCenterMenuItem = subMenu.menuItems.add(topCenterAction);

    var topRightAction = app.scriptMenuActions.add("Top Right");
    var topRightListener = topRightAction.eventListeners.add("onInvoke", FloatingTablesHandler);
    var topRightMenuItem = subMenu.menuItems.add(topRightAction);

    var bottomLeftAction = app.scriptMenuActions.add("Bottom Left");
    var bottomLeftListener = bottomLeftAction.eventListeners.add("onInvoke", FloatingTablesHandler);
    var bottomLeftMenuItem = subMenu.menuItems.add(bottomLeftAction);

    var bottomCenterAction = app.scriptMenuActions.add("Bottom Center");
    var bottomCenterListener = bottomCenterAction.eventListeners.add("onInvoke", FloatingTablesHandler);
    var bottomCenterMenuItem = subMenu.menuItems.add(bottomCenterAction);

    var bottomRightAction = app.scriptMenuActions.add("Bottom Right");
    var bottomRightListener = bottomRightAction.eventListeners.add("onInvoke", FloatingTablesHandler);
    var bottomRightMenuItem = subMenu.menuItems.add(bottomRightAction);

    var backToTextAction = app.scriptMenuActions.add("Back to Text");
    var backToTextListener = backToTextAction.eventListeners.add("onInvoke", FloatingTablesHandler);
    var backToTextMenuItem = subMenu.menuItems.add(backToTextAction);

    function FloatingTablesHandler(event) {
        var args = [event.parent.title];
        app.doScript(mainScriptFile, ScriptLanguage.JAVASCRIPT, args, UndoModes.ENTIRE_SCRIPT, "\"" + scriptName + "\" Script");
    }

    The main script reads the argument as follows:

    alert("The argument -- " + args[0]);

    If my memory is good, of Rorohiko's APID ToolKit can create "Assignable shortcut" menus I don't know this for sure at the moment because these menus a long time ago.

    BTW, the question was asked here, but he has failed.

    Kind regards

    Kasyan

    Hi Kasyan,

    If what you're asking, is if it is possible to assign a keyboard

    shortcut in the usual way with a menu created by a script item and then

    of course, of course you can.

    Add the menu item and then assign some k.shortcut you want-

    you will find your menu items in the 'Scripts' category in the keyboard

    Shortcuts dialog box.

  • Forms 11 g change the IE title browser

    Hello

    How can I change the title of the Page IE dynamically shaped 11g? The current title is displayed formsweb.cfg. I need to add the connection string for the existing title.

    Thank you
    Nezha

    In version 11, the easier will probably be to use java script. For example:

    Declare
         rtn     varchar2(255);
    Begin
         -- rtn will return the value passed in
         rtn := WEB.JAVASCRIPT_EVAL_FUNCTION ('document.title = "This is my title."');
         message('The title has been set to '|| rtn);
    End;
