• Auto how to grant additional on a workspace rights when creating the workspace

  Hello

  We use APEX 5.0 and I want to GRANT additional rights on EACH workspace when it was created.

  So that I need, after you create a new workspace, perform the following Manual :-(

  GRANT CREATE SYNONYM, CREATE VIEW, CREATE the LINK DATABASE, CREATE the PUBLIC DATABASE LINK xxx where 'xxx' = Workspacename

  However still a manual task is not a good approach
  I wish I had the default GRANTS and others above, automatic!
  
  

  Is there a feature or setting that can do it for me?

  Maybe there's a default template that I can modify for my needs?

  If you use the Admin app Instance to provide patterns and new workspaces, you can simply add grants to the APEX_GRANTS_FOR_NEW_USERS_ROLE role. When APEX creates the workspace schema, he travels all privilege that has been granted to this role and he gives to the new user. You may need to grant privileges WITH GRANT OPTION to APEX_050000 (and again when the power to APEX_050100, etc.).

Nothing I try (right/slip etc.) seem to be moving it, can someone advise please? I think it happened when I accidentally scrolled with the mouse button and it seems to somehow have locked the workspace and flying together. Any ideas please? Thank you

  No need to reset the prefs. Just grab the handle on the left options bar, drag it to the menu bar and drop when a thin blue line appears between them. The options bar behaves just like any other Panel in this regard.

• Why can I not see details of the metadata in the panels to the right edge in the workspace "Essentials"?

  After using the bridge successfully for years, a weird problem occur. When I use my usual way, by using the workspace Essentials or a personalized version of this, I cannot see the metadata information (or sees only partially) nested inside each of the tabs - file properties to the Exif camera data to alter history.

  See the screenshots below. It seems that the formatting has been changed to align with the right side instead of the usual left edge which moves when the Panel is moved from the text. I've done the obvious things but did not a complete uninstall/reinstall, partly because I can't take the time or the risk other problems right now. I use CS6 now; the next step will be to CC.  Anyone has any suggestions for a fix of the reinstall? Thank you!

  I don't know otherwise how can I phrase it, but I'll have one more try...

  You expand the Panel by dragging the border of the Panel, so you can see the two columns of text in the metadata Panel.

  Then, place the cursor on the small space between the two columns of text in the metadata Panel, NOT the border of the Panel. The cursor turns into a bar with arrows. If you drag it to the left, the left column should get closer and the wider right column.

  When the left column is the right size, take the edge of the Panel and reduce it to its original size. The right column of the metadata text must always be visible because the left column is smaller.

  I'm all out of words.

• How to make images float right in the workspace of the 11 items?

  I can't float images freely in the workspace. The option 'all float freely' under 'disposition' is not available. I know that something must be done and they have managed to figure try it twice before, but in loading items 11 on a new computer thte images are locked to the tab and I can't understand how to release them.

  The editor preferences > General > enable floating Documents, then window > Images > float all in windows.

  Unfortunately not. You can show or hide the list and Media Library but that's all.

  I would appreciate some recommendations to get instructions on creating files in the workspace. I watched the TS Ch 2 reference manual, but there isn't much there.

  For example, I would like to know how to add data files, ini files, etc.

  What all is in a workspace file? I'm looking at the system that I inherited. Under code modules, it lists a few files sequence and beneath them a few screws and a VI that is not under a file of sequence but there are hundreds of screws in this project.

  I do not have here TestStand and the exact process escapes me, but in the workspace window, you can right-click and get a menu to add folders, files, etc.

  My client is using bpm12c, they asked if the administrator sets the managers in the workspace-> administration-> organization unit-> managers (in the right-hand panel), does that mean actually, it auto generate relationship report for members of the org (and org subunit) unit?

  Good idea for the reporting of organizational unit, but there isn't.

  As you know, you can associate an OU with a process so that only individuals and groups within the organization or its hierarchy can work on tasks for this process.  I've never tried, but adding a handler to an OU that nobody (or group) can then have access to instances in the processes associated with the organization unit.

• 11.4 Documaker closes when you open the workspace

  
  Hello

  11.4 Documaker studio immediately closes when you try to open a workspace. It worked fine until a week back. but then he began to behave like that. I tried to go through the INI settings if anything might have changed, but all right. And when I'm loging to the server, it is throwing an error message stating that DCVS.exe closed due to an error. I have attached the screenshot of event viewer. Kindly let me know any solution for that.

  Well, I've just exhausted things I can say. There must be something that has changed the environment that leads to this problem if your recent edits did not actually includes changes in the Documaker dll.  Maybe check online to determine if you have the last patch of the product level.

  If you have the time would be to install on another computer that does not have the latest updates and see if it works. Then re-apply updates one at a time to see if/when it stops working.

  Even do it well, I'm not sure you could get something patched to 11.4 since there are several other versions of the product that took place since then - 11.5, 12.0, 12.1, 12.2, 12.3 and 12.4 is up-to-date. You might be better to download a newer version and see if you have a problem at the opening of the workspace with this.

  Contact the support may be the only real option at this stage.

  I'm a big fan of scripts and I use the same all over again, I love having them in my work presentation/workspace.

  Everything is fine with it, except that whenever I organize that they have the specific position and size that I want in my workspace, after a relaunch of After Effects, are still there, but the size of each Panel has changed, it has been reduced and I have to re - open whenever I use After Effects , (so, possibly 5 - 6 times a day for the past 5 years).

  Is it something to do to keep the workspace the user chooses or I am I cursed to repeat until the end of time?

  Save custom workspaces? If you have created the panels UI you defined the size? I use the standard workspaces more 3 workspaces customized I saved on almost all projects. I have several custom scripts that you find by going to the Windows menu that I work with and they seem to stay exactly where I put because of the way scripts are written. Floating with interface panels user which is accessible from the file scripts > menu Scripts do not have the right script to enable them to act as panels so if you need to resize those I hope that they will have to be resized when raise AE.

  I get the following error at the whe Workspace, you try to run a report EN to the workspace:

  Query error: error: internal error Essbase JAPI: [cannot perform view cube operation. ] [ Essbase Error (1013289): command [MdxReport] failed due to memory allocation failure]

  This is the first time happened in this environment and I already checked the free memory space and everything seems fine.

• The application bar is missing the workspace box

  I miss the workspace area in the corner to the right of my Applications bar. My laptop is fine and everything is up-to-date. Just noticed that she and I can get my workspaces through the tab of the window. It would just be nice get box so I can tell at a glance or reset my workspace pronto if need to be.

  Should not have asked. CTRL - Shift - Alt when you start up cold Photoshop resolved my problem.

• Cannot delete the files of the ECO in the workspace

  We set up a new environment of EMP 11.1.2.2 (Reporting and analysis) on Linux. In addition, we have a box of windows for customer analysis and web studio IR. Our repository is an Oracle DB. We imported about 186 files OCÉ in our workspace via LCM. When we try to map a file OCE in a BQY file, under its properties, we are not able to find the required files of ECAS. The drop-down list gives only the top 100 ECO files, alaphabetical. And files OCE, we need are not there. We are sure that we have all 186 OCÉ files imported successfully. And we are not able to find a way to delete the ECAS that we don't need.

  All the world is facing a similar scenario? Please suggest a work around for this problem, so that all the files of the ECO will appear in the drop-down list.

  You can try the below

  1. in the workspace, go to navigate > administer > Reporting Analysis > Services

  2. right click on the service of Reporting Analysis Framework

  3. Select Properties

  4. Add a new parameter to JAVA_OPTS option:-DMCL. JDBCFetchMaxRowSize = XXX. For example, a value of 200 will display 200 OCÉ files in the workspace.

  5. save changes

  6. restart all R & A services.

• When switching from Lightroom to Photoshop it default to the workspace 'Start' instead of 'My own work space' which she did before PS updated 2 December 2015

  I guess the title says it all.

  But to summarize.

  I right click on a photo in Lightroom and Edit in PS.

  Before this PS Update December 2, 2015 she would incorporate the photo in the PS as my default work workspace

  Now it is default to 'Start' workspace not what I envisioned.

  When you choose to photograph in the new (open) start any screen works OK

  Figured out how Adobe should have done...

  Go in Photoshop C:\Users\user-name\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe CC 2015\Adobe CC Photoshop 2015 Settings\WorkSpaces (modified) and copy your main workspace by default

  e.g. copy My_Workspace.psw and paste it

  C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 2015\Required\Workspaces CC. In this directory, remove Start.psw and rename My_Worksapce.psw to Start.psw

  Remove Start.psw in the workspaces (modified) [see above] directory as well. PS will create a new one here.

  Make sure that the two new features are selected in the General preferences in PS.

  Now in Lightroom will change to PS, it starts in My_workspace as it used to.  When I opened just PS it now starts in the workspace of beginning.

  I am facing a strange problem with Illustrator, I think that it occurred after the last update (19.1.1).

  Because there was a discussion on exactly my problem, I posted it there a very long problemdescription of screenshots and error logs.

  In short, my problem has to do with a brush on grounds that I created some time in 2014.

  Right now I need to work with one. File HAVE containing this model-brush.

  Strangely enough, it is the brush model does not appear in the palette forms plus.

  The first description of the bug: whenever I try to save a file that contains this model brush, Illustrator closes unexpectedly with an unknown error.

  SettingsFile doesn't get corrupted > delete > I restart Illustrator

  And now the show stoppers is displayed:

  I can't use hidden tools in the palette of my workspace, which are indicated by a small arrow in the lower right. (Must click and hold to enter additional functions, i.e. change of a rectangle to a rectangle with corners rounded...)

  I just can't work anymore! Because simpler tasks are not possible to do more.

  Please, someone at - it the same experience and found a way to be able to work again?

  EDIT: I deleted Illustrator CC 2015 now. By clicking on 'Install' the creative cloud gives me the information that the Adobe servers are not accessible at the moment. Maybe a support person please help in detail, what steps should be taken now?

  Is it possible to use an older version like 19.1.1 and if so, how?
