UI in CS6 is too small

Anyone know how to extend the user interface fonts in photoshop, illustrator, fireworks and flash? I'm using microsoft surface pro 3 and cs6 items that I use at the moment have very tiny icons and user interface text.

The pictures below show the small user interface:

CS6 is about 4 years old and has not been and will not be updated for the new hardware and operating systems

If your computer has a screen high resolution, there is no way to adjust the interface in CS6

    Hello

I just installed CS6 on my laptop.  All the components (programs), the icons are much too small for aging eyes.  I use Windows 7 and I have increased the size of the icons and text mean in th accessibility settings.  This doesn't seem to affect the Adobe programs and there is nothing in each program; preferences to allow you to change the size of the icons (and text).

    How can I do this?

    Thank you

    SA-webness 1600 x 800 is a very high-resolution screen 17 inches.  You have a special high pixel per inch?

For many of our applications, we recommend a resolution of 1280 x 800.  You can find a reference to this in the minimum requirements for Photoshop CS6 to http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/system-requirements-photoshop.html#main _ Photoshop_CS6_system_requirements.

I checked several of our other applications, and they share the same recommendation of resolution.

  • Photoshop, Illustrator, CS6 interface too small surface Pro

Hello, I just bought the Surface Pro from Best Buy. I bought it to use such as Photoshop, Illustrator and other adobe products. The menu and icons are so small, making it virtually impossible to navigate through the menus and tools.

Are there options? I like the Tablet, but will return there next week if I can't find a solution.
    Thank you

Only a problem with Photoshop itself... Its not respecting the scale factor of Windows. The MacOS has had the same problem too after the retina display is out.

I'm afraid that you can't do anything. You must wait until Adobe solves this problem.

  • PS the CS6 on a Microsoft Surface Pro menuitems too small to read

I just installed PS CS6 on my Microsoft Surface Pro and it is virtually unusable.  All menu items and icons are too small and I cannoit see well enough to navigate/use the product.  Is it possible to scale the resolution or some other difficulty?

Yes, it's the only solution I can give you as if now, as there is an option to fix this in PS CC and later, but not in PS CS 6

  • Illustrator CS6 - opens in a window too small

Whenever I double-click an Illustrator file to open it, the Illustrator CS6 window opens too small to display the file. It comes up with an error message that says: "cannot open the illustration. There is not enough room for the window; increase the area of document and try again. »

    Illustrator-CS6_error_window-small-default.PNG

If I then click on the box to extend the Illustrator window to full size, I can open the file. It's just frustrating that whenever I try to open a file by double-clicking it's I get this error message.

Try and let me know if this can help, right click on your shortcut on the desktop, then choose Properties. In the shortcut tab, choose magnified in the menu next to the race.

  • CS6 icons are too small to read.

Installed Photoshop CS6, the icons on the front cover, top and side are too small to read.  I have a bad seeing, can hardly see the crop tool and tools on the top, helps.

You can't change that. Lower the resolution of your screen and check the PS forum for discussions on this issue as the use of PS on retina Mbps.

Hide the handles too small, how do for their more grand - easier to see?

Zoom.  200%, 400%, 800%... what you have.  Handles grow.  Then you can twist them and to zoom out again.

  • the text in the user interface is too small

When I opened cs6 text on the screen for all orders is too small to read. I've updated the version and edition/preferences /nterface he days UI great police.
It is too small to read. Other programs do not have the problem.

I use a dell inspiron 15 with touch screen and windows 10

Yes CS6 always use pixel basic interface elements. So you reduce the resolution of your screen to enlarge.

The last CC version now includes the scalable interface elements. That can be changed in the preferences.

I wish I had better news.

  • The application icon is too small on mobile

I use Flash CS6 to publish an Android with the built-in Air SDK application.

I first used the Air SDK 3.2, but when I ran the app on my phone Samsung Galaxy S4, I would get an immediate error "the application has stopped working".

Based on suggestions from this forum, I used manage Air SDK using the Flash to upgrade the SDK of AIR 18.0.0.122Beta and the app went very well.

However, now, I noticed that the icon of the application on the device is much too small.

I went back and looked at the icon of the application which resulted in the publication Air 3.2 and it is the perfect size (but the application will not work).

How can I get my icon of the current application to the correct size?

    SOLUTION FOUND!

    1. In your flash project, put up in the forms to publish.
    2. Under include files, add the icon of 96 x 96 and 144 x 144 icon.
    3. Close Publish dialog boxes.
    4. Manually edit the manifest file to add in the icons of 96 and 144
    5. Close the XML
    6. The descriptor XML file Goto properties - change read-only
    7. Return to Flash and file - publish
  • Toolbars and menu bars are too small to use

I installed adobe CS 6 standard on a laptop of Lenovo windows 8.1.

As soon as I opened Photoshop or Illustrator, toolbars and menu bars are too small to use.

The rest of the programs on the laptop are very good.

The user interface is set to wide.  I changed the display settings, and it did not help.

I use a new laptop from Lenovo.  I have several licenses for my business and it installs fine on windows 7.

The nanobook Lenovo isn't a good choice for the use of Photoshop CS6.  Photoshop CC has a feature of the user interface of 200%.

  • Safari 10: too small font size

After the installation of Safari 10.0 this morning, nothing is as it used to be - printing on most websites is too small for me to read. The option to adjust the size to a minimum size by default in the Preferences window has disappeared; pages can be enlarged in 125, 150% etc but not what I want.

I no has not upgraded to the latest version of Safari to end up reading texts too small they are printed on stamps!

Do these guys at apple all this walk with a watchmakers eyepiece? All solutions (style sheets?)?

There are a number of discussions on this issue with your same concern. I agree, the issue of font size is really bad and the zoom function is NOT a way to solve this problem. As others have suggested sending back to Apple is a way of approaching the question with the hope that they give the choice of font size in preferences rather than this impassable zoom feature.

  • The pop-up box to define privacy choices is too small. Only half of the text is available. Unable to access the "EDIT" button to the right to save the settings.

I can't change any settings that are shown in a popup box. The box is too small to contain the message and cannot be adjusted. I can make changes, but cannot save them. As a result, I am stuck with either save no history, or the history. My problem is to save the cookies but the problem is extensive. I am running Firefox 41.0 2 under Ubuntu LTS 14.04. This problem did not until the 41.x update. At that time, my settings in Firefox are YOU, and I had to reload all the preferences, (several times). Thunderbird doesn't seem to be affected.

The text seems important enough in the screenshot.

You have a size of upper text somewhere (Firefox or Linux settings)?

  • resolution of 4 k too small icons

    I bought a 4 k (Samsung UE590) screen.

I m using a MacBook Pro of the retina (end 2013) with a DisplayPort adapter cable MiniDisplayPort (Thunderbolt) to. I m running a resolution of 3840 x 2160. He runs @60 as Hz as opposed to what support page Apple´s suggests.

I know that some people are complaining that the icons and text were too small, but I thought that Mac OS 10.10 and above solves this problem.

I have the same problem, all the icons and text are much too small. Is there a high way to end it without losing resolution 4 k?
