• Can I use Xcode with PhoneGap

  Hi, sorry but this is probably a stupid question, but if I build an app (ISO) game with Xcode on my Mac computer. Can I use PhoneGap (or any other Adobe program) to convert my game app for Android and Windows? If I can sell it via iTunes?

  PhoneGap allows you to use the web (CSS, JavaScript, HTML) technologies and which interface with native features (provided by plug-ins). PhoneGap itself does not any migration of existing code bases. So, if you write an application Objective C or Swift, PhoneGap can transmute that into Android equivalent Java or Windows.

  Instead you write your application once in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and PhoneGap allows you to target all of your desired platforms. But this means that the writing application in the web technologies in the first place.

  Note: there is no other Adobe product that I know that would make any translation of existing code either. There are no Adobe there tools that can allow you to reuse portions of existing native code, but I have no personal experience with them.

  Regarding the sale through iTunes, which applies only to iOS apps (not Android or Windows). Each platform has its own store.

  You can use the cordova-plugin-device plugin for a UUID of the device (this api is the same on iOS, Android,...)

  This isn't exactly the same as the IMEI, but it is unique enough to identify the device, while protecting the privacy of the owner of the phone.

  If you need to get the IMEI, then google is your friend. This [1] was the first result when searching for "imei cordova.

  There's a good stack overflow article here [2] which has the disadvantage of using this value and encourage you to consider other ways to identify users, because users cannot trust your application if you ask for this info. Read the accepted answer.

  This is usually done with a CMS (content management system). There are commercial products CMS like WordPress, Joomla and perch. You create one or several layouts and then create pages of these page layouts using the CMS. In this way, it is possible to have hundreds of pages, each with unique content, but a page layout that can be managed in a place of sharing.

  CMSs on shelf don't require programming skills. Otherwise, some of us write our own CMS with custom functions, but this requires back-end, as with PHP programming.

  PhoneGap built mobile applications with HTML, CSS and JavaScript. You cannot use a language server side, such as PHP with PhoneGap.

  Most likely, you want to connect to a MySQL database on a remote server. To do this, you will need to use Ajax to send and receive data from the MySQL database. You can use jQuery to send and receive data in JSON format. PHP has a JSON functions which decode and encode data as JSON strings.

  How difficult or easy, you would put that in place depends on your knowledge of jQuery and PHP. I don't know any tutorials that explain how to get together it for PhoneGap, but it shouldn't be too hard to find tutorials to use jQuery Ajax to communicate with MySQL.

  For most applications, there is no need to develop plugins with Java. Your screens should be based on HTML and JavaScript.

  Keep in mind the benefit of using cordova is to target multiple platforms (BBOS, 10 BlackBerry, iOS, android and others). You always need to install SDK BlackBerry WebWorks.

  1. the app can be just a html, css and js folder except the splashscreen plugin (and the statusbar plugin, if you want to scale well on iPad).   using animate than Pro, you can create an ajax function that allows you to send and load data from and to your php file.

  I use jquery because it longer resolves the differences between browsers in the processing of javascript.

• Java to add two fields, use total with Paypal

  I know it's simple, but all resources more complicated things and I can't understand it.  How can I add several fields numbers, user entered (ID 'Number 1', 'Number2') in real time to calculate a total displayed in another area.  And the total number or text field?

• Anchor using JQuery Mobile issues

  I'm having a lot of problems with getting the anchors to work properly all using JQuery Mobile Starter/Page template. My instructor gave me a javascript to use, but that also does not work correctly. I tried a lot of different options to acquire to work and correctly and I had no chance. It is a project that is due next week and right now, it's the only thing that holds back me. So, basically, what I'm trying to do is is when you click on reference points that it'll bring you to a new page with various of the city, and when you click on a city, it brings you to the anchor so you can start reading my information.

  The first anchor controlled by javascript works correctly, but when I add my second anchor and test it, it will go to the first position of anchors, but a few paragraphs down. If I add a third it will only go down the page a little bit as if he were not moved at all.

  A lot of help is greatly appreciated

  Just to clarify some terms. An anchor point is what we all call a hyperlink. You refer to the name attribute of the anchor tag.  Named anchors are deprecated, but whether you use them or element ID that they work the same.  Not really sure that you posted after your question - can you just after the code?

  Is there enough room for the page scroll? Links to specific locations in a page works by scrolling through the page. If there is not enough left on the page height, it can not scroll and may give the impression that it doesn't. Is this what is happening? If this isn't the case, then you will need to view the code.
