  Using this link as a reference, I created a data control Web Service, and when I deploy via JDeveloper for different environments I can change my point of endpoint accordingly on this screen:

  It turns out that the connections.xml had the url of the endpoint that the profile of the deployment and jdeveloper was referencing at deployment time.

  In order to get our automated generation work, we use a search and replace of Ant utility to change endpoint in this connections.xml before construction/deployment of the application.

• The use of JavaScript with the desgin-time properties

  I have a form with a few text fields. I would like to be able to update their legends by programming using JavaScript at design time.

  I don't know how to approach the design time objects.

  Any help would be much appreciated.

  At Design time you genrally cannot run JavaScript in the designer.

  The only option would be a macro, that requieres Designer ES2 or the designer of the ADEP.

  A macro is a javascript file, which is stored in a subfolder of the program folder, which can be performed at the time of design.

• PowerCLI to deploy virtual machines at the same time

  Can I deploy multiple VMs usng PowerCLI, but they spread out in the order and with an error.  It seems almost easier to deploy them manually so that they are created at the same time and not one after the other.  I also want the static IP but don't know how.

  For now, I use a card file customization that indicates static IP and guest for this.  But he never does, he deploys the vms system then throws an error stating VC ' a specified parameter was not correct.  nicsettings: adatpter:ip. "I want to increment IP addresses on virtual computers deploy.

• Dynamics in the designer, but not in the workspace

  Hi all, I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction. I have a form with expansion of a few tables and digital signatures that I created in the designer that works perfectly when I saw it. But when I use it in my process and show the form in worspace (or download it on workspace and open it on your desktop), the shape is more dynamic. The buttons are no longer add lines to my table or anything like that, and no javascript errors are appearing in my debugger. Is there anything that would cause this?

  I think this is maybe my custom rendering process (which is just the engine by default with a policy record and added extensions) could be the cause of the issue, but I don't see why. Can someone help me with this?

  In your process of renderForm in the render PDF form Options make you you set the option RenderAtClient to Yes. Also under the form open the form Propereties intself and the make you default tab rendering PDF Format has the dynamic value of XML form.

  I got it, it was similar to what you do on a normal LabVIEW VI. I expect a change in the name of VI in CloneXXXX.vi, but in real time, I think that you do not have this indication.

• I can create forms in the designer, but when I use a data model, I can't interact with the form

  In LiveCycle Designer ES2 I can create a form and then preview and interact with the form.

  This guess I just build objects by dragging the pieces pre-made object on the form (for example, text field) - which I can name, wrap in subforms something - I can add actions and all is well.  When I preview the PDF, I can enter data in the fields, click on the radio buttons, making things appear that everything is great.

  But LC ES2 is based on the data driven development model by, so in my case I need a form guide as well as the form - so it's better to have a model of data created in the first place - and then create the form based on the data model - then build guide form based on the data model - it is also a good idea, and I'm cool with that.

  My problem is that when I'm building a data model (just for a quick and dirty development demo, not associated with services back-end or databases) and I create the form based on the data model - I can't interact with all objects in the preview pane form - further when I launch the workspace and call my process that contains the form - I even can't interact with the form.

  What I am doing wrong?

  Summons - I can create a form and interact with it - but If I start with a data model and generate the form based on that - I can't interact with the form (option buttons click-I can not enter data in form fields - etc) what causes this?  What should I do to use a data model and be able to create an interactive form? >

  You do not hurt anuthing. It works as advertised. When you generate a Guide and work with a fml data model designer you will only create a static non-fillable PDF file. This is because when you import the model in the designer of the model must be turned in a schema. The schema may not represent constraints and validations can be encoded in the model. The only thing that can be maintained is the structure, so Designer forbids you to buidl an interactive form.

  If you know what you're doing, you could take the data it is generated from the Guide and merge on a XDP template file that you create (unless he models in a first time - you can use the sample XML data as a starting point) using LC forms. Edowmside, is that if there are constraints and rules you would have to code them in the model as well. That's the way it is now there, but it will improve over time, as more of the ability of the model is exposed to the XFA world.

  I am very new to Flex, but I have some experience in programming Java (with the old AWT), Visual Basic 6 and Visual c#.
  The first thing I noticed is that apparently it is not an easy way to create an action for a component in the design view.
  Must be nice, for example, right-click on a button in the view of the designer, and have the option to add an "event listener' or create in code to the onclick action.
  Maybe I need to spend more time on the manual and this feature is already there, but if not, I think that should be a good idea to introduce it.

  for the date/time properties, an object called UsiTimeDisp is returned. This object allows to that extend features of service as access to each part separately (day, year, hour, seconds,...) of your date/time value. If you want to print the value of time with MessageBoxDisp, you can use the VariantDate this object property.

  Your code might look like this then:

• How to make non-visible control on the Front Panel appear at Design time?

  I have a few controls on the front whose visibility is changed (on or off) at run time. The problem is that if I stop the Run time, the visibility of the control remains in the running in design mode state. So I am not able to see or find the control to make changes in design mode.

• How to create a digital control (of any type) which can be increased or decreased by a 'unit' at the same time?

  As in the title.  I want to create a digital control (no current limitation on its type) with a range of 1 to 10 (and a step of 1).  The only difficulty that I have, is that the user should only be able to increase or decrease 1 at any time.  Code initiated by this change of value must have completed at least once before that the value can be changed again.  This is because code of VI is mainly contained in a while loop and control are read once at each iteration and its last value should not differ more than 1.

  Is this possible with LabVIEW 6.1 and if so, how?

  One of the solutions that I came up with so far is to disable the control immediately after its reading, and to turn it on again immediately seized is read the next time (I have to assume that the user is unable to click twice before the control is disabled).  It is an acceptable method, or is there a better way?

  I also had an idea of partially disable a normal digital control, such that it could not be typed in - only arrows remained operational.  However, I'm not sure how.

  You can use the two buttons (by releasing latch) and a digital display that shows the current value. Button increased the value and the other decreases. Store the value in a shiftregister to work with her.

  I don't know if your solution would work because use may directly enter the new value.

  I found some examples on how to do it programmatically, and I was able to do by changing each line at a time.

  Just select the list box, and change the font! Presto, everything is done at the time.
