View Images of the URL in Email

We have the URL of an image stored in a custom object. We want to display this image in an e-mail message using field blends, how do we do this?

You could try to insert the merge field in the image as thistag, xxxxxxxxx"> ".

  • I downloaded Firefox on my samsung galaxy note 10.1 2014 edition. Looking for patent, I can not view images (on the US patent office website, uspto.gov)

    Posted on July 5, 2014... I am trying to view images on uspto.gov [ed. fixed tld] Web site (US patent office). I can view the text of a patent, but not the images (drawings of patents). I have a Tablet mobile samsung galaxy 10.1 note 2014 edition.

    The patent office uses a PDF file without a download link. There is no plugin Adobe Reader for Android. If I don't have a work around.

    • install pdf.js
    • you will then be able to access the data of patent image

  • Take the Image of the URL and put in Bitmap image

    A few steps are:

    * use the connection HTTP (S) to upload your image as a series of bytes

    * Store the bytes in a byte array

    * Use EncodedImage to build your image

    The rest of the code, you should be able to provide yourself, and if you can't, there are a lot of discussions and example there of segments of code in question using Connector/HTTPConnection classes.

  • Question from Windows Explorer/view - images from the image file can be displayed instead of simply as an icon?

    Under Windows Explorer/view when I click on a folder of images I got a list of icons with jpg file name. It is difficult to imagine what is in the photo with DSC0526, or IMG7322, or NB67388. I thought that it would be much more convenient if images are displayed instead of simply as an icon. Is there a way to do this?

    Hello, PC57164.

    You can customize the folder

  • Load the Image of the URL entered in the dynamic text box

    I have an area of dynamic text (image_in) to receive a URL entry of an image to be loaded into a clip (peak) when you press a button (b_load).

    I can't make it work, the code seems pretty simple:

    var image_url:String = image_in.text;

    b_load.addEventListener (MouseEvent.CLICK, Load_URL);

    function Load_URL(event:MouseEvent):void

    {

    var i = new Loader();

    i.Load (new URLRequest (image_url));

    pic.addChild (i)

    }

    This code gives me: #2044 Error: Unhandled IOErrorEvent:. Text = Error #2035: URL not found.

    This code works when I declare the var as a URL:

    var image_url:String = " " http://website.com/image.jpg ";

    What is the difference if I go http://website.com/image.jpg in the dynamic text field? What's wrong?

    Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

    You declare the image_url variable after the dynamic text? If this isn't the case, then the value of this variable will be an empty string. Set the variable inside the function declaration, and it should work as expected.

    Here's a possibility... go to... Start ORB / Control Panel.
    Folder options / tab / files and folders / uncheck
    "Always show icons, never thumbnails" / apply / OK.

  • Problem with image extract the content and the tile at the same time show on ListField

    My application is Application News get JSON webservice to appear on ListField.

    On each line in the list, it will show you the image thumbnail, title and Teaser as below.

    _______________________________________

    |                |                       Title

    |   Thumb  |_______________________________

    |_______  |                       Teaser

    First of all, I have to get JSON that contains the url of the thumbnail image, title and Teaser.

    I managed to view the title and Teaser, but the thumbnail is not. When I Fetch image with the url of the thumbnail image, it returns only bitmap = null for me.

    My method is first call httpdispatcher to get the thumbnail image, title and Teaser and then wait and call another httpdispatcher to retrieve the url of the image thumbnail, then added to listfield.

    Here is my code

    Class helloScreen{

    public void requestSucceeded(byte[] result, String contentType)   {      if (contentType.equals("image/png") ||        contentType.equals("image/jpeg") || contentType.equals("image/gif") ||contentType.equals("image/jpg")) {         bitmap_temp = Bitmap.createBitmapFromBytes(result, 0, result.length, 1);                     synchronized (UiApplication.getEventLock()) {

                   }         }         else if (contentType.startsWith("text/")) {

                  strResult = new String(result);

                 try {                     ja = new JSONArray(strResult);

                  } catch (JSONException e) {                   // TODO Auto-generated catch block                    e.printStackTrace();              }

                                  int temp_int_next=0;
                    try {

                                 }});

    callback.insert(j.get("title")+" ", ""+get_htmlOff_first.trim(), bitmap_temp , temp_int_next , "Event");                      temp_int_next++;

    }

    httpRequest, class Dispatcher is used to get the data from the url

    public HttpRequestDispatcher(String url, String method, helloScreen screen)

    this.url = url;
    this.method = method;

            connection = (HttpConnection)Connector.open(url+";deviceside=true;ConnectionUID=" + uid);

            }

        connection.setRequestMethod(method);

        connection.setRequestProperty("Accept","text/html, image/jpg, image/jpeg, image/,image/gif");

        int responseCode = connection.getResponseCode();
        if (responseCode != HttpConnection.HTTP_OK) {
        screen.requestFailed("Unexpected response code: " + responseCode);
        connection.close();
        return;
        }
        final String contentType = connection.getHeaderField("Content-type");
        final ByteArrayOutputStream baos = new ByteArrayOutputStream();
        InputStream responseData = connection.openInputStream();
        byte[] buffer = new byte[10000];
        int bytesRead = responseData.read(buffer);
        while(bytesRead > 0) {
        baos.write(buffer, 0, bytesRead);
        bytesRead = responseData.read(buffer);
        }
        baos.close();
        connection.close();

                  UiApplication.getUiApplication().invokeAndWait(new Runnable() {

                        public void run() {

                            screen.requestSucceeded(baos.toByteArray(), contentType);

                        }

                        });

        } catch (IOException ex) {
        screen.requestFailed(ex.toString());
        }
    }

    The point here is that I have JSON and get the url of the thumbnail to fetch before add to listfield. The image should be ready in bitmap_temp but it still get null.

    UiApplication.getUiApplication().invokeAndWait(new Runnable() {

                                   public void run() {

                           getImageURL(thumb);

                                 }});

    public void getImageURL(String url) {                HttpRequestDispatcher dispatcher2 = new HttpRequestDispatcher(url,                "GET", this);    }

    callback.insert(j.get("title")+" ", ""+get_htmlOff_first.trim(), bitmap_temp , temp_int_next , "Event");

    All day trying to fix it but no success, so I need help from you guys.

    15. END;

    3. when I used this thread in that they mentioned a point, I'm not clear on this, could you help me what to apply to the condition "subordinate this process to"g_error_msg", with a value non-zero.

    Create this process before Header on the page referenced in the URL by email:

    begin

      if :p1_display_eid is not null
      then
        select modified_date
        into :p1_modified_date
        from test
        where id = :p1_display_eid;
      end if;

    exception

      when no_data_found
      then
          apex_util.redirect_url('f?p=&APP_ID.:1:::NO:1:G_ERROR_MSG:This record is deleted.');

    end;

    And having this as a process before Header on the redirect page, a point value / Expression 1 Is NOT NULL column condition with Expression 1 on G_ERROR_MSG:

    apex_application.g_notification := '' || :g_error_msg || '';
    :g_error_msg := null;

    Probably, you should also include a value of specific request in the e-mail links so that their external origin are easily recognizable in the conditional processing and branching.

  • Image in the text object

    Hello

    I want to have an image in the text of dashboard object. Here's the code I copied from W3Schools.com:

    < html >
    < head >
    < style type = "text/css" >
    UL.dashboard {list-style-type: none; list-style-image: url ('dashboard.gif')}
    < / style >

    < body >

    < ul class = "dashboard" >
    Dashboard < li > < /li >
    < /ul >

    < / body >
    < / html >

    The checkbox 'contains the HTML markup' is checked. All it shows is "Dashboard", no picture.

    I tried 'Link or Image' object and the image shown correctly.

    Someone knows why?

    Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

    Hello

    first of all, you don't need to add the full html document in the html structure, I mean, is that you can remove tags such as html, head and body. If it is enough:

      Dashboard

    Given that the image is not displayed you should ask yourself whether the reference to the image is correct. So where is the stored image? And what do I do for the image in the url? Maybe you can try to use an absolute link instead of a parent. What I mean is the following:

      Dashboard

    I hope this helps...

    Kind regards
    Stijn
