  Hi all.

  I am writing a wrapper of LabVIEW for an existing DLL function.

  The service was, as one of its parameters, an array of structures.  The structure is very simple, containing two integers.  I use the call library function node to access.

  In Labview, I created an array of clusters, when the cluster has two integers of 32 bits as members.  So far so good.

  Now, I have to pass this in the node library function call.  I use here in trouble.

  I used the LAVA so the topic in the knowledge base as my main sources of information, although I read a lot of topics in the forum on the subject too.

  I don't understand I could write a new function that takes as a parameter a struct with the size as the first member and an array as the second, and I might just do this and do call the regular service, but I was hoping to do more simply.

  The file function C LabVIEW generates for me the COLD Lake when I choose "To adapt to the Type" and "Data in the table pointer", the prototype he expects is:

  It sounds like a match for me, but it doesn't work (I get garbage in the data).  The topic referenced above LAVA, I realized it would work.  This isn't.

  If I have to cast the data to the pointer-to-pointer I get when I generate c code in my wiring to a CIN struct and by generating, then I seem to get what I expect. But it seems to work when I choose "pointers to handles" too, and I'm expecting data table pointer to give a different result.

  Is it possible to get it works directly, or I have to create a wrapper?  (I am currently using LabVIEW 2011, but we have customers using 2009 and 2012, if not other versions as well).

  If it is only the data (not apps) I use Dropbox. It turned out to be the best way to move things between the side Mac and the bootcamped Windows of my iMac side. I don't see why it would not work to move data from a virtual machine installation of Win to a BootCamp installation.

  Possibly associated with the HP Ltwvc13n.dllfile. It seems that it is part of the Deskjet, Officejet or software or drivers (you have products HP?). If so, you can try to reinstall to see if it helps (because it can offer the possibility to use these HP products for fax).

  If this isn't the case, then you could see if it is listed in your list of startup programs . If so, disable it to see if it can prevent the error message for you. The procedure (method two) is in the link above.  If this file is not there, looking for something about fax server or HP man (unless you have an HP computer - then you need to be a little careful about what you choose) and disable them too to see if that helps.

  Go to start / Control Panel / programs and features and see if there is a program called man fax server or anything like it either sounds like what you do not recognize installed. If so, click on it and uninstall it (unless you use actually it or may want to use it at a time, as indicated in the first paragraph above).

  Go to start / Control Panel / Accessories / Services and check if there is an entry for Fax Server (or something similar) man.  If so, click it and then click stop if it is started and then click on disable if it shows automatic or manual.  Click OK to save and reboot and see if that helps.

  If this does not work, try a boot minimum http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135.  If the problem goes away then it's just a matter of tracking down the culprit at the origin of the problem.   Follow the procedures described in the article.  Once found, remove, delete, disable or uninstall.  Once don't forget to reset your operating system to status normal, as explained in the procedures. If the problem occurs in clean mode then just restore the system to normal and reboot - this solution will not work.

  # 2 the URL to the XML namespace is not intended to be a URL to access a resource, it is just a way to make the namespace unique. Often companies will use URL as a matter of convenience, but it is not a URL that you would ever type in the browser to get a resource from.

  Unless 10.10 has features you really need, a restore is logical. It's a pain, but if you can't do the job, this is what is needed.

  On a data store the total capacity is 600 GB, VMFS3.33, Max File Size 256 & Block Size 1 MB

  Of course, I understand that the amount of free space in a data store can limit the size a file size may be, but I wonder what are the other factors.

  My goal is to read 14 bytes of binary data of an instrument on the serial RS232 (460800 baud) to 2000 Hz. I didn't get a card series high speed again so I am currently using the standard serial port (115200 baud) and reading at 400 Hz I have configure the port series, empty the buffer, and then enter a while loop to read incoming data. I have a visa 14 bytes read by interation seconds 0.0025 (400 Hz). However it seems that the sensor is spewing data faster that labview can read because the bytes are accumilating in the port. After some time the buffer fills and the program fails.

  Is there a better way to do it?

  Would it not be better to read the larger quantities of data less often, for example as 1400 bytes every 0.25 seconds?

  I think it would be good to read several points in a loop, and keep the loop less than 1000 Hz.  I found in the past, have something to run faster than about 10ms tends to fall down when windows loses interest in the process.  So yes, choose the slower you can get away with reading samples - for example to read every 10ms and read 20 samples every time. You should be able to configure your serial port in order to buffer the samples that I guess.

  Also and the issue of windows - if you use a loop "timed" instead of a while loop, so you can force it to an integer value including the ms.  You can also assign a dedicated processor and set the priority to 100, which means that it is less likely to elapse and decide to scan your hard drive for viruses or consult your account e-mail or what he does when he's bored with your program.  Also it "' tells you if the loop has taken longer that planned to run - you can use this to help iron out bugs etc. - report and/or to the user if you missed a few samples.

  How our works of Labview code is very poor. We want to do the following: initialize a DAC and then in a loop: 1. read from an ADC or a counter. Trace playback as a point on a XY Chart (DAC setting like x, ADC read as y) 2. Assign the CAD a new value 3. Wait a while for the equipment to balance 4. Read the ADC again, etc. I don't know a good way to keep the data and send it to the XY graph. Our former program initialized a table 2D, with a column being the ramp CAD and the other holding all zeros. Then, as the data have been collected, zeros have been updated with the data. This method is not good, because the graph has always shown a flat curve until all the data, instead of scaling properly the limits of actual data. Is there a tutorial or an example to help with this concept? I basically understand the help of error and flow control task, but I don't have a knowledge of the shift registers and initialization.

  You must initialize the array 2D with the ramp for x and the line is that contains all the NaN. Any point that contains a NaN value will not appear on the graph.

  Usually, I prefer to keep the range constant x instead of with each new point scale, but if you want to keep the x scale tight, you can update the min and max range using nodes of property according to the current insert point.

  You already use a shift register (or feedback node) to contain your table, so this should be OK, as is.

  Also remember that if the ramp is linearly spaced, you can use a waveform graph. You just need to set 0 x and dx accordingly. (A xy chart is necessary only if the points are not evenly spaced in x.)
