  I hope someone can help me with this even, Yes, very frustrating problem. I've recently updated 2015 CC, simply because I had to because my colleagues did. My creative cloud application however does not accept and shows that older versions of the CC apps. I currently run 13.5.0.347 AE and PR 9.0.0 and according to the CC app no update is available. I run OSX Yosemite and tried to reinstall the CC application.

  Is someone can you please tell me why I can not update? I need this because the problems of rendering in AE are so frustrating (than F * $# * ^ * rendering of the space bar and not being able to cancel kills me). And the deadline does not help...

  Open Safari while holding the SHIFT key

  Try to reset the settings of Safari:

  1. open Safari

  2. click on the Safari menu at the top (to the right of the Apple logo)

  3. Select the Preferences/Privacy tab

  4. click on remove all data from the Web site

  5. close Safari.

  Remove cache Safari files:

  1. click on finder

  2. look for the menu GO to top

  3. click on GO and hold down the option key. This will show a user library folder.

  4. click library and find the Caches folder

  5. in the folder caches com.apple.Safari Ouvrezledossier

  6. move the Cache.db file Trash.

  This should solve the problem. If it does not help, try to disable the Safari extensions

  1. open Safari

  2. click on the Safari menu at the top (to the right of the Apple logo)

  3. Select Preferences

  4. find the Extensions tab

  You can do it, but you don't have to install cs3 in order to install your upgrade of cs5.5.

  You can launch the installation of cs5.5 and you will be asked your cs5.5 serial number.  Setup will ask you then select the product (in a drop-down list) calling.  Select cs3 and you will be prompted for the serial number for cs3.

  Enter the correct number at the right time and to proceed with the installation.

  If you no longer need these programs on your old laptop, disable (help > deactivate) before uninstalling so that you can keep your two activations.

  Start > right click on computer and select Manage

  Select Device Manager

  Click on the + next to sound, video and game controllers
