• Which version of the AIR SDK to use for BB10

  I recently moved my dev to a new Mac environment, so I had to reinstall everything, I installed the BB 3.0 sdk and robbed the air sdk 3, 4, I can compile an application, I've migrated any signature and debug tokens (which is good, cards app are OK), but whenever I try to launch my AIR on the BB10 application It opens and closes immediately before anything, even a simple HelloWorld fails.

  Is it because I compiled against sdk 3.4 AIR?

  Sites of dev clearly indicates "Adobe AIR SDK 2.6 or later", which miss me so much?

  Currently, we currently support only AIR version 3.1. As Tim mentioned here we will update 3.3 or 3.4 in the future.

  I'll test this, but your application should be supported if you have the latest version of the SDK installed and the target AIR 3.1.

  I'll make sure that dispel us any confusion in our documentation and SDK Installer software.

  NM, looks like this is bug #3829474.  Bug notes, we have this problem in the Simulator, but the real device is always make an incorrect scale size (via apple APIs.)  The last bug comment suggests that this should be tested again in the next update of iOS.

  It seems that you might have downloaded some malware or adware.  Download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for Mac to get rid of him.  In the future, avoid the following types of sites to prevent it happening again:

  • XXX sites
  • torrent sites
  • Group download sites (CNET, Softonic, download (dot) com, MacUpdate, etc..)
  • MP3 download sites (Mp3 Skull, mp3monkey, etc.)
  • No matter what website says you can do or download something for free you know otherwise you would cost money

  It seems that Fn + N + 1/2/3/4 function of debugging has been removed in 2.0 BIOS to avoid the abnormal behavior of the keyboard.

• The AIR SDK upgrade to 3.8 in Flash Builder 4.7...

  I use Flash Builder 4.7 on a Mac using OS X 10.7.5.

  I downloaded the AIR SDK here: http://airdownload.Adobe.com/air/Mac/download/latest/AdobeAIRSDK.tbz2

  (The one WITHOUT the compiler, because it is the one that says it's compatible Flex.)

  I followed all the instructions here: http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/multi/how-overlay-air-sdk-flex-sdk.html

  I changed the Application descriptor on my Mobile ActionScript project to this: http://ns.Adobe.com/air/application/3.8 and he recorded without error.

  Yet, whenever I try to launch the project, I get the following error:

  Error occurred during the application of packaging: Users/my_name/Documents/Adobe Flash Builder 4.7/my_project/bin-debug/my_project-app.xml: error 102: invalid namespace http://ns.Adobe.com/air/application/3.8

  WTF is going on here, I should then?

  Never mind - I thought of it myself...

  You need to download the version of the SDK * WITH * the compiler (here:http://www.adobe.com/devnet/air/air-sdk-download-mac.html ) and then delete the contents of the folder/Applications/Adobe Flash Builder 4.7/eclipse/plugins/com.adobe.flash.compiler_4.7.0.349722/AIRSDK and replace them with the contents of the AIRSDK_Compiler.tbz2 file that you downloaded.

  So - to be clear that you have to do BOTH of these things - the thing I did in my first post with the overlay, AND the thing I did in this post with the contents of the folder AIRSDK replacement to make it work properly...

  I wish that when you google "How to upgrade AIR SDK in Flash Builder 4.7" it would return to a single page with these TWO sets of instructions on them.

  I just converted one of mine. The magic is in .actionScriptProperties. Change this:

  useApolloConfig = 'true '.

  with a text editor. I leave Flex * before editing it. My icon in Flex it still shows that Fx instead of the icon of AIR but the AIR feature works.

  I try to transfer my playbook to the BB10 sdk air application. It seems rather easy. But I have a problem of access to the camera. I wonder if it's a bug or a feature missing from the current beta.

  The way I access the camera is quite standard:

  camera.setMode (800, 400, 15, true);

  Video: video of var = new Video (camera.width, camera.height);

  When debugging I get the object camera but it not to broadcast anything (fps = 0).

  I fixed it! In fact, I used

  camera.setMode (1024,600,15)

  When you switch to a different mode the camera image is displayed correctly.

  I mean by that - once the upgrade there is zero information about what is new. No visit. No clues. Nothing on how to call Siri, etc.. No welcome to the message of Sierra.

  Basically, it's like taking just El Capitan. I don't see anything else yet, and there is no obvious guides to show me how to discover and use the features of the Sierra.

  I suppose that if I Google I find guides. But my point is this - why isn't any information provided after the upgrade? Basically I just continue on my way, using my Mac, I always and can't see anything else yet. No problems to speak of. Only no idea of what has changed.

  Currently, you can find a newer version of the BIOS on Toshiba page.
  I checked the site and it seems that the 5.10 version was published on 25/01/07 and operating system independent.
  Unfortunately, you won't find information about the change of the new version of the BIOS.
  It seems European Toshiba site doesn't provide details.

I don't want to do and have never had to do before, also when I close the box a "Printing error" box appears and I can't print.

  The setting you make must persist until you change it again. The "default" is the last used printer.
