What type of PCI slots are there on my Acer Aspire AXC-705

I want to install a card firewire on my PC but don't know what type to get. Some forward-looking PCI cards I've been look seem to be too long to fit in the slot (which is on 9cms long). Can you help me?

You have three,

1 PCI Expressx1

1 PCI Expressx16

1 mini PCI Express

The video card has the slot PCI Expressx16.

No, you can not do. If your video card is in the same housing, and I'm sure it is.

The PCIEx1 is above him, and there is no slot outward.

Here you can see the PCIEx1 compared to the back of the desktop computer.

  • Tecra M7: What types of SD cards are supported?

    Hello

I just tried a SD Transcend 150 x with 4 GB to read with my Tecra M7.
The card works find with my MDA and is formatted correctly. It also works well with a card reader.
My M7 said, it might be not formatted and wanted to format.

So my question which is: what types of SD cards are supported?

Thanks in advance and Shine On, Frank

    Hello

It seems that your laptop card reader would not be able to handle 4 GB SD cards.
Each computer laptop SD card reader supports a hardware limitation, and it seems that this card is not supported.
I m not 100% sure on taken supported card formats SD but the SD 256 MB card, 512 MB, 1024MB and 2048MB should work

A question: have you tried to use the Toshiba SD card format utility? This tool allows you to format a standard SD format SD memory card.

  • vCHS - what type of storage systems are used

    Hello community,

While I understand the storage architecture is distributed and "close" to the CPU, I wonder if the vCHS is supported by a storage type storage topology/layout object?.

    Anyone know the answer?

    Thank you

    Paul

Paul, as of today, we use "traditional" storage to back up virtual machines. From a consumer point of view, it's like what you are used to. Up to now we have only one level, and we seek by adding several layers (cheaper / faster / etc).

We do not have a storage of object service. We realize that, in the cloud, there are use cases that are best served by there and it's something we are evaluating for the future.

  • What types of video files are supported in Dreamweaver CC?

I couldn't find an answer to any where in the Forum myself.

Anyone know what kind of files video I should use when embedding?

I tried .flv and .avi without success. But .mp4 works beautifully. Is .mp4, the only one that I can use?

    Thank you

    -Matthew

The question is what video files you can use on the modern web?

    Forget the incorporation.

MP4 has the broadest support of browsers and modern mobile devices.

None of the additional plugins or other required software.

    Use the HTML5 tag

If you use an earlier version, use this code.

    http://techslides.com/demos/sample-videos/small.MP4' type = "video/mp4" >

If you don't see this, you are using a

outdated browser that does not support

    the video tag.

  • The scores are by default in Acer Aspire v3 - 571 g?

I ask because I do not know what partitions I created myself and who were there in the first place, and I would like to clean it up.

Here is the sheet music, I see now:

    On those who can remove?

What are the meaning of these I can't delete?

Delete not (what is certain from the factory)

    Acer C: is your system

the last score 15.76 is Acer erecovery partition

    300 MB EFI partition

recovery of 2 sheets of 300 MB and 400 MB, it is difficult to know who is related to the operating system installed and in my opinion for about 300 MB this is not worth the risk to delete something needded by your system.

Keep in mind, with 2 other recovery partition and the partition to restore Acer, probably Acer erecovery (software or start ALT + F10) may have problems at startup.

Non allocated is the only one that you have created, deleting a partition or another installation of the OS.

  • what caused the sound to stop working on my acer aspire one netbook?

I don't know what happened, I have no sound, I do not think that the netbook knows there is a map of its installed longer.  I have not removed any material, and only updates have been thanks to the automatic Windows Update program.  Just noticed one day that he was no longer the volume button on the office and could not play any music I had. What should I do to fix this? Literally worked day and no sound at all. Any suggestions?

Despite what certain MVP thinks, this problem occurs on the upgrade or update. Not to everyone, but every now and again.

Simply to re-install the audio drivers that match your Netbook on the Acer site.

  • Presario CQ5500F - PCI Slot

I searched extensively on the internet and the site of HP and can not find all the information about what type of PCI slot the Presario CQ5500F has.

I don't know the PCIE connectors are version 1 (250 MB/s per theoretical maximum throughput of course), but I was not able to find out what type of PCI slot has my computer. Is the crack:

    (1) 33 Mhz, 32-bit (theoretical 133 MB/s max speed)

    (2) 33 Mhz, 64-bit (theoretical throughput of 266 MB/s max)

    (3) 66 Mhz, 32-bit (theoretical throughput of 266 MB/s max)

    (4) 66 Mhz, 64-bit (theoretical max of 533 MB/s throughput)

I think that these are the only possibilities.

The answer to this key a decision I have to make what is an expansion card.

    Can anyone here clarify this?

    Thanks in advance.

You can consider changing the second PCIe card x 1 to one who possesses two SATA3 connector and a connector eSATA, such as the following maps by ASRock. Are you still using the ethernet port gigabit on the second card that you have installed? There are a number of different cards PCIe x 1 with different configurations that should have the combination you need.

  • HP pavilion media center a1610n pci slot?

Hello, I have a hp pavilion media center a1610n I bought 6 years ago and it still works great! However I just bought a new graphics card to update my computer a bit and the card company chart says my computer needs to have a location express pci 2.0
How can I tell if my computer is compatible with this graphics card and what type of pci slot I have? Help, please!

Here are the specifications of your HP Pavilion Media Center a1610n desktop and its card mother A8M2N-(NodusM3). According to specifications, your system was introduced on August 4, 2006 and has a slot PCIe x 16 for a graphics card. Based on this information, I guess he has a PCIe v1.1 location. This should be compatible with most cards PCIe v2.0, but will have problems with PCIe v2.1 and latest maps. Another element to consider is the power to your computer. Many, if not more, HP computers of consumers of this era came with 250 watts power supplies and the vast majority of the PCIe x 16 graphics card requires a minimum assessment of 300 watt or greater system.

  • Are there disadvantages to the use of the generic video driver?

I have a nVidia GeForce FX 5200 graphics card on my Dell Dimension 8300 Win XP home sp3. Last week my computer could not start gives me a blue screen saying problem with NV4_disp device driver got stuck in an infinite loop. Problem with the device or the driver. Check the update of the driver of the seller.
    (1) I changed monitors - same problem
    (2) I downloaded and installed the latest version of the Dell driver dated 2004 - same problem
    (3) I went to the Nvidia site and downloaded and installed the latest version of the driver dated 2008 - same problem
    (4) I disabled the graphics card in the Device Manager and ran dxdiag, who said that I use the video driver generic vga.dll

Here's my question. I'm not a gamer, and on my screen (1024 x 768) screen looks identical to what I'm used. Are there disadvantages to the use of the generic video driver? Are there missing capacities that I can run in navigation, reading electronic mail or watching videos on Hulu? I noticed that on the generic refresh rate is up to 60 hertz instead of 75 hertz.

    Hello

RUN sfc/scannow, and then chkdsk /f /r to ensure corruption is not a
    the part in question.

If this fits your needs and then use the default driver, because he will not harm the entire system
