I joined Flixster and Ultraviolet a need to update flash player on my kindle fire HD to see my movies. It downloads ok but I can't install it. It just says: could not open the file when I try.

  • Why can't I install Flash Player on IE 8 on this server?

I went through the download and install several times.  The Adobe black window appears, says installation complete, but when I go to web sites that require Flash or diagnostic Abobe sites, it showes no Flash installed.

It seems to be a browser specific problem. Try another browser like chrome or firefox, it should work.

Fixing IE or Safari, can follow the suggestions below:

Run the Flash Player uninstaller as appropriate for your machine (i.e.Windows or MAC) and remove flash player.

    For MAC: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-mac-os.html

    For Windows: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html

    Restart the computer.

    Download and reinstall Flash Player.

    Restart the browser and check.

  • Installing Flash Player v11 under Windows 64-bit with several web browsers...

    Hello!

I see that there are 32-bit and 64-bit installers. http://get.Adobe.com/flashplayer/ said that I use 32-bit Windows on my machine of HPE W7 64 bit updated in the web browser of Mozilla SeaMonkey v2.0.14. In IE8 32 bit, it detects my Windows 64-bit. So I decided to try only run 64-bit ActiveX and Plugins installers. Both IE8 32-bit and 64-bit and 32-bit Mozilla SeaMonkey show Flash v11. Does that mean it's done and OK and I need to run the installation programs 32 bit (I had to do all four of thought)?

Also, is it normal for the control panel to display the icon of 32-bit Flash player? Where is 64-bit? List of "programs and features" (Add/Remove Programs) shows 64-bit.

    Thank you in advance.

the Panel of control heart native is also part of the 64-bit installation process, it is be a 32-bit application.  in total, following which are installed as part of the 64-bit Installer:

    64-bit Plugin/ActiveX

    32-bit Plugin/ActiveX

    Native 32-bit Control Panel

  • Error message when you try to install Flash Player 18 on Windows 7 using Firefox

    Hi davep66667962,

Installer online team has identified the DPI setting as the culprit of the script error.  If it is set to 100%, 125%, 150% or 200%, it will lift the script error.  The workaround is to change the DPI setting to one of them.  Installer online team expects to have a fix for this next week.

  • How can I download Adobe Flash Player on Windows XP?

I reinstalled Windows XP computer that HAD Adobe Flash Player on it, then reinstalled Firefox. Only, I couldn't reinstall Adobe Flash Player! Check why I can't download Adobe Flash Player on my Windows XP? Yahoo Answers. There is no error message, no matter what. Simply Setup does not open. I've tried everything. The Adobe Live Chat was no help at all, and I created an Adobe account to get help. Someone help me?

This Service Pack, if any, you have installed on your XP system?

See How to check that Windows XP Service Pack is installed on your computer?

If you have not installed Service Pack 3, you will need to install it, at least for setup work. Latest Flash Player installers are signed using SHA-256 signature certificates.  Older versions of XP don't support SHA - 256.  The link I posted previous provides more information on this.

The browsers Google Chrome and chrome are two different browsers.  Google Chrome integrates the Flash Player.  Google incorporates no Flash Player in chrome.  Therefore, you need to install the PPAPI Flash Player plugin for chrome.
